The views outside this hotel are absolutely stunning, beyond words. Just a few steps away, you can walk to the bridge and enjoy the river scenery, especially at night – it's so beautiful you won't want to go back to your room. The room I was assigned was also very romantic, with a sloped attic window. I loved being able to lie in bed and look out the window; it's a feeling I really appreciate. The breakfast was better than some other hotels I've stayed at. While it was still pretty standard Western and Asian fare, it tasted good and was more than enough. The front desk thoughtfully provided a coffee machine and an ice maker, so you can grab a coffee or ice whenever you want, which was really convenient. My only minor issue with the room was that it was a bit humid and had a slight musty smell. However, if you're in Shanghai for a business trip and need to stay for an extended period, I actually think this place is quite suitable because the wardrobe in the room is very spacious and can easily accommodate a lot of belongings. Another small issue was that the hotel hallways were quite warm. This was especially noticeable this season; every time I left my room, the walk to the elevator felt a bit stuffy and hot. But for me, this wasn't a severe enough problem to warrant a low rating for the hotel; it's an acceptable minor drawback. One thing I found really convenient was the hotel's dedicated pick-up area. For instance, if you order takeout, get a delivery, or a rider brings something, it's placed in a designated area. You can go and check it yourself, making the whole process very easy. To be honest, this place feels more like a hybrid between a hotel and a serviced apartment. The facilities are well-suited for long-term stays, and for business trips or extended periods in Shanghai, I think it's much more convenient than a typical hotel. But I have to say it again: the location is fantastic. Seriously, the location is absolutely gorgeous. For this area, I think it's one of the best value-for-money options I've seen so far. Taking an evening stroll, the surrounding scenery is truly breathtaking. The staff are also all lovely and friendly. The only thing is they sometimes seem quite busy, so online replies can be slow, and you might have to wait a while. However, once they do reply or you communicate with them in person, you'll find everyone is very pleasant and willing to help. So, overall, my impression of this hotel is very positive. It's not without its flaws, but considering the location, price, environment, and convenience for long-term stays, I think these minor issues are perfectly acceptable. My room didn't have a microwave or an individual washing machine, but that wasn't a big deal. The kitchen staff were very kind and always happily helped me heat up food. The hotel also has a public laundry room with irons available, so even for longer stays, it doesn't feel inconvenient. What I loved most was the evening ambiance. Stepping out of the hotel at night, the riverside and surrounding scenery are truly captivating. The whole neighborhood is also very quiet, not noisy at all, making walks incredibly pleasant. If you're looking for a beautiful, quiet place that's suitable for longer stays, I think this place is definitely worth considering.

There are shopping malls and a subway station nearby, making transportation a breeze. The pool is fantastic, and the service is top-notch, especially Nancy's service, which truly stood out. She was diligent and responsible, genuinely friendly, and communicated with great detail and patience. She quickly understood our needs and went above and beyond to help us resolve various issues, working efficiently and reliably. Her service was perfectly balanced – attentive without being intrusive. Overall, the experience was great, and her professionalism was outstanding. A sincere thank you to Nancy for her dedicated efforts; I highly recommend this hotel.

Coming to Pudong New Area to visit cultural venues like the Shanghai Museum East and Shanghai Library East, choosing to stay at this Ibis hotel was truly great value for money. It's conveniently located near Fangdian Road Station on Metro Line 9, making transportation easy. The hotel facilities are generally standard, and the service is quite warm. When checking out, the front desk even gave me a small snack pack. Downsides: I stayed on the 2nd floor this time, and perhaps because it's a lower floor, the room felt quite damp and needed some ventilation to feel comfortable. Breakfast is on the 1st floor, with the restaurant connected to the lobby. The variety of food is very limited, which could definitely be improved.

This hotel has a wonderful wabi-sabi aesthetic that makes it feel more like a secluded resort than being right in the middle of Shanghai. The breakfast is a major highlight—the menu changes daily and offers a great variety of delicious options. The only minor drawback is that the staff are stretched a bit thin and struggle with English communication. However, if you don't mind a little language barrier, it's a unique and tranquil stay. Highly recommended for a relaxing business trip!

Every category deserves a perfect score: the prime location is highly convenient, the entire property maintains immaculate cleanliness, the staff delivers exceptional and attentive service, and the modern facilities are top-tier. It is the absolute perfect choice for anyone traveling on a business trip who values comfort, efficiency, and a touch of luxury. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose to stay here again.

This is my favorite hotel in Shanghai for its overall brightness and comfort. The special Dragon Boat Festival activities, like sachet making and beautiful bracelet crafting, were very fitting and thoughtful. The pillow was incredibly comfortable; even though it was a bit pricey, I decided to buy one to take back to Taiwan and try it out. They market themselves as specializing in pillows, but the selection wasn't complete, and the display models weren't available, which was a bit disappointing. They didn't even have duvets in stock, so I decided to only buy one pillow. It's also quite close to the Maglev train, which is worth experiencing.

The experience exceeded my expectations! 1. The front desk lady was very professional. Upon check-in, she provided all the necessary information, including the QR code for their WeChat enterprise account, Wi-Fi password, and transportation details. She even called to confirm when my travel companion was checking in, which shows great attention to detail! (I've seen too many ridiculous hotel news stories lately, so this was a pleasant surprise). 2. The room design, flow, and layout were very well thought out. Outlets were conveniently placed, and the light switches were intuitive. The storage space and work area were particularly impressive, perfect for two people working or one person with multiple devices. The chair was also quite comfortable. There were basically no 'feng shui' issues – the bed wasn't facing the door, and the TV wasn't directly opposite the bed. The lighting design was excellent as well; the desk lamp was comfortable, and there was no overhead bed light, yet the natural light made the room very bright. The view outside the window was also a nice surprise… My room was away from the road, and in such a bustling area, it was so quiet, I could only hear cicadas – truly wonderful. 3. Overall experience: Excellent. I've stayed in many hotels across China, and this one is pretty much flawless. Apart from the slightly stuffy air in the hallway and the elevator being a bit warm, everything else was great. Service was prompt and efficient, and the storage space was ample. It's suitable for solo travelers, friends on vacation, or business trips. Food delivery was also convenient, and the hotel guests weren't noisy (I'm saying this as a noise victim who just moved from next door…).

The location is great, very close to the subway station. The hotel is new, and the staff are very professional. It's also pretty quiet inside. The only downside is the slightly small parking lot. They have self-service laundry and a gym.

1. The price was a bit over 1000 for a suite at the time, but for one person, it felt too empty. It was plum rain season in Shanghai then, and looking out the window, everything was bleak. It was easy to feel down at night, so I wouldn't recommend such a large room type for solo travelers. However, the location is good, though not very convenient for the subway. If you're taking a taxi or driving, there are no downsides. 2. The service was excellent. Being able to order orange juice via the app was a real plus, and you could order Coke and Sprite too. I accidentally left my phone charger when checking out, and they proactively called me to arrange for it to be shipped. Really great service. 3. Breakfast was good, a very standard Intercity breakfast. After this, I stayed at Intercity hotels in Nanjing, Wuhan, and Chengdu, and it seems their breakfasts are standardized with a touch of local flavor, so you can't go wrong. Thumbs up. Overall, Intercity is indeed my personal best experience brand among all Huazhu hotels.

I needed a hotel while visiting for medical reasons. When I searched for ”Sheraton,” this 4-star Sheraton was the first option that popped up. Upon entering the lobby, I noticed the decor was quite old, but I've stayed in older hotels before, so I was okay with that. However, there was a stuffy, damp smell due to poor ventilation. I hoped it would be better in the room, but the room had the same musty smell. I tried to accept it, but the next morning, I found a leak on the windowsill. Down in the lobby, I sat on a sofa and noticed many stains, and then I even saw an insect crawling by. At that point, I couldn't accept it anymore. Once I had completed most of my admission procedures for the hospital, I decisively changed hotels. I have no idea how this place got its 4-star rating.
