I wouldn’t recommend this hotel except maybe for the breakfast (buffet) which was good (nothing crazy either). Otherwise, the service wasn’t really great, they don’t speak well English, we asked if it was possible to have the room earlier (we came with the night bus from Rantepao at 5.00 am), before noon no, except if we paid more (more than half day) or if we stayed a day shorter… well… Then room was small, not a lot of light came in and smelt of moisture.

Dari pelayanan resepsionis, billboy dan security ramah Dan cukup membantu. Lobby dan halaman depan hotel pun nyaman Dan sedap dipandang, serta fasilitas di kamar sudah baik Dan bagus. Namun ada kesalahan yang membuat itu kurang nyaman entah hanya di kamar 1010 atau memang Masih banyak kamar yang water heaternya kurang berfungsi dengan baik atau memang belum diadakannya water heater. Selaku customer kami menyarankan agar pengadaan atau pun perawatan waterheater diperhatikan terlebih lagi di musim penghujan seperti bulan desember

The hotel is very good, the rooms are very spacious and the beds comfortable. The buffet breakfast is very complete. It is located in the university area, halfway between the airport and the city centre, near the bus station and also on the way to Ramang Ramang. Finally, it has a gym but no air conditioning.

Overnight stay en route to Rantepao from Bira. Sengkang doesn’t have a great deal to offer apart from Lake Tempe. We arrived just after a torrential downpour which didn’t make the town look any prettier! Sallo Hotel seems to be the best of the bunch in terms of places to stay. Everything was okay apart from not having any hot water and the WiFi being so slow to the point where it was useless. Breakfast was decent and room service food quality surprisingly good.

AAnindya azaliaLocated strategically at sam ratulangi street. The staffs are not well trained, the reception doesn’t even know the meaning of TWIN BED that I had to argue with him? Showers are not properly functioning. Breakfast was quite ok… There’s always at least one miscommunication between me and the reception staff on every each day, such a draining experience to stay at this hotel especially when you’re on vacation.

GGuest UserThe receptionist and security guard were friendly, we were given an early check-in dispensation, we arrived at 11, we waited a while, at 11.30 we were allowed to check in even though it should have been at 14.00, there was a welcome drink in the lobby, the water was strong like a fire engine, it was really cool. The room was clean, there were no sandals, there were 4 clothes hangers, it was pretty good

SShakespeareActually I oredered the room with see view but I got city view, also the room that I got not like what I expected, it was romm with connecting door which is not my preference and from my view the room 509 hasn't been use for long time and it was seems forced to be open because all the room was packed. the water super dirty when you flush the toilet, the AC is leaked and not working properly which made me waited around 1 hour to be fixed. I mean why you did not check it before you open and sell that room?. However the the bed was clean the room smells good and the receptionists was too slow but kind if you ask me do I want to booked again, the answer is no because I paid pretty decent money for this room There are a lot good price hotels near there so I hope Khas Makassar Hotel should learn from my story Thanks

RRusdiI don’t know what to say cuz I am thinking to say about the good things. the most I hate in this hotel is the wifi, it’s super poor. You need to log in with the username and password that was given by the receptionist. And then when I am connecting the wifi in my room, oh God this is disaster. So well, I am using roaming in Indonesia and my roaming went smoothly then the wifi. I even can’t open google. Or refresh my instagram. It’s super super slow. I need to go to the lobby if I wanted to use the wifi since my roaming has limited access too. And the bathroom is just too small but its unique the concept like in the airplane. The only thing I like in this hotel is the location and the reception is super friendly, and there are many options for breakfast but mostly for Indonesian traditional foods.

JJarina BintiThis business hotel is the perfect mid range transit hotel or for discovering Makassar. The staff are warm and efficient and the rooms large and comfy. Breakfast is above decent. It’s a bit off the main shopping street but still central enough to reach anywhere in the city with Grabcar for RP13000 to 27000.
