We booked two rooms, both looked as advertised which was very nice! Rooms were mostly clean, only very minor details were overlooked. We had a kitchenette but there was no cooking or eating equipment at all. Smoking seems to be allowed inside but the room didn't smell. Reception didn't speak any English but are well versed with translators. Overall would stay again.

With free pickup and drop off services staying at this hotel is the best alternative to hanging around at the airport for 14 hours. There is an opportunity to have some sleep, shower and stretch your legs, and watch English speaking channels on TV, so the long journey to New Zealand is not so stressful. All amenities are working well. You have free bottled water, a kettle, some glasses, a USB port by bedside. Maybe just carpet flooring needs to be replaced for a new one. Staying at BOAI hotel met my expectations. The receptionist was friendly and fluent in English. I would definitely recommend this hotel to make your layover in Shanghai easier, especially during summer time when it is hot in Shanghai. Value for money is excellent! I recently stayed at Dengba Inn (Kangxin Road Changshuo Technology Store) and had an amazing experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff, especially 小绿, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. 小绿 went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and had everything I needed. Whether it was providing local recommendations or assisting with check-in, their friendliness made my stay memorable. The cleanliness of the hostel was impressive. The common areas, bathrooms, and my room were all spotless. It’s clear that the staff take pride in maintaining a clean environment, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I felt completely at ease knowing that everything was well taken care of. Overall, I highly recommend Dengba Inn for anyone looking for a friendly, clean, and welcoming place to stay. I’ll definitely be back on my next visit!

Is a short walk of about 5 minutes to the nearest Metro which call Tian Tong station. At this station, is a direct station to Hongqiao Railway as well as the Hongqiao Airport. And only 1 stop to the famous Nanking Road East. Easy to find the place and lots of eateries and shopping just around the corner. The room we chose was exactly the same as what they offered in Trip.com. Check in and out is hassle free and staff are very attentive and gives clear instruction. Will stay there again if we are back in Shanghai.

I booked the hotel because I had an early flight in the morning and wanted a short distance to PVG. From the subway station East Huaxia Rd. it is about one km to walk. The room had everything i needed. The window was on the streetside, but this area is quiet in the night, so I slept very well. I didn't use it, but the room has also a small kitchen part including a washing machine.

The hotel is very close to the airport, and the bed is super comfy. I didn’t stay overnight, but I went there to rest, shower, and pack before flying back. It’s a great option for people like me who have late-night flights because the airport doesn’t have any shower rooms.

This is a wonderful place! There’s a piano, a large screen TV for you to do karaoke. It is ALWAYS clean. The showers are nice. There’s shampoo, conditioner etc. in the shower. The washing machine and dryer are brand new, with washing liquid provided. The towel provided is fluffy and lovely. The whole place is so opulently decorated! There’s a lift, so you don’t need to carry your luggage up any stairs. There’s water and tea provided 24/7. The bed is comfortable, lovely white sheets and fluffy duvet. The toilet seats are heated! The rooms are lovely and large. Plenty of room to open your suitcase up fully. Personal Charging ports in your bed area + a personal lockable safe in your bed area too. Across the road from the metro, so super easy to get around! Great location. Lots of places to eat close by, and mini-marts for fruit and veges etc. highly recommend!!! Clean, safe, big, lovely. I was booked for three nights and extended it to 10 nights! I felt so safe as a solo female traveller. So glad I chose to stay!

We reached Shanghai Pudong Airport at 120am so decided to stay near the Airport before we moved to the city the next day. Maxinge is good for transit. Clean hotel. Room size is okay for couples with 2 luggage. The hotel looks old but it is clean and comfortable for a good night's rest. Airport transfer is free upon reservation. Pick-up is available every hour with intervals of 30 minutes or 1 hour. The pick-up location is T2 Terminal P2 Parking Lot H6 Meeting Point. The mini-bus License plate number is 3399 or 4382. Yes, aeroplanes are flying over but they give earplugs. Good price for a good night's rest.

This is our second stay at 幸会臻选酒店 this month, and once again, it did not disappoint. The location is excellent—just steps away from the People's Square metro station, Nanjing Road pedestrian street, popular restaurants, and major sightseeing spots. The hotel staff are friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile, which really adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shanghai and looking for a centrally located, reliable, and friendly place to stay.

Solo female traveller. Self-declaration of residence during your visit via a link the staff will share via WeChat. (For me, the submission under the Chinese UI only worked.) Free one-time clean-up of the room, no water provided so have to buy on your own. New towels and emptying of dustbins can be requested. Location is a 7-10 minute walk to Shanghai Natural History Museum Station and Nanjing West Road Station; 20 minute journey to Shanghai Railway Station via MRT if you are taking trips out of the city. On the way back from Nanjing West Station, there is a 7-Eleven at the station and a Family Mart nearby the station. There is also a mini-mart near the main entrance of the accommodation residential area. There are two lifts, but usually only one is operating, so I had to wait for the lift for sometime if I left the unit at 8.30-9am. If you are sensitive to dust, request for a deep clean of the room. There is quite a fair bit of dust under the bed. I visited the tail-end of spring where there were a few mozzies that came by, but there is an insect-repellent diffuser in the room. Washing machine is excellent, you may use the laundry detergent provided. Used it a couple of times, clothes are fine. Projector works well with MangoTV free subscription. It was nice to use it. You may also verify with staff on the address of the accommodation in Chinese, which you can use for Taobao and Dianping (if no local phone number) / *******. For ride hails via DiDi, pick up point is at the main entrance, the same direction to head to if you are going to Shanghai Natural History Museum Station. You’ll see a petrol kiosk outside the main entrance.
