We just had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was not only spotlessly clean, but also spacious and comfortable, offering everything one could need for a perfect rest. The location of the hotel is excellent, allowing easy access to various points of interest in the city. The reception staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, always with a smile and willing to help with anything needed. The breakfast is first class, with an excellent variety that changes daily, making every morning a new culinary experience. In addition, the hotel offers washing and drying machines, which is extremely convenient. We were provided with all the bottled water we needed and umbrellas were readily available. This is definitely a hotel we will return to - highly recommended!

Hotel is located pretty near to Pudong Airport, making way to the airport fast and convenient. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is really good. Save space for the tasty pastries and cakes. Front desk service is great, nice and helpful. They assisted me order take-out pizza online and delivered to hotel after a long day at the Disneyland Park. The hotel arranged a birthday cake for us prior to our arrival and at very reasonable price (cake was baked inhouse). If you take the effort and time to communicate with staff, you will achieve the assistance you require from the hotel team. Downloading a “Translation App” and “We-Chat” is highly recommended if you cannot communicate in Mandarin. Please book your Disneyland drop-off and pickup shuttle 24 hour prior and register yourself with the “We-Chat” group (There is a QR code at the front desk). The hotel’s private guide on the bus ensured my family got through the park gate and registered at the park guest services. Tip! if you need to communicate with the hotel staff prior to arriving, I found “We-Chat” to be the most convenient way (Novotel Shanghai Pudong Chuansha Mobile WeChat number is ***********).

The hotel team went above and beyond to assist us. They not only helped us make a call to the appropriate office but also personally guided us to the delivery center, which was conveniently located just 300 meters from the hotel. Great experience from check in to check out.. Breakfast buffet available. Great fitness, spa, and swimming pool area that all opens at 8a (late for a fitness area since we like early morning workouts). The from desk staff very organized and accommodating. Room service and other dining options throughout the day available. Perfect location to walk to the Jing’An area and even Kerry Centre. Easy pick up cabins for meituan. Will stay again if I make another appointment.

I love Yiqinyuan for the calm and peaceful forest, I walked by myself during the last day and if you do visit, try to do it without any gadget. Just bring your keycard. Walk through the tall trees, hear the birds, feel the sun and inhale fresh air. It is very sad that I have a non-refundable ticket that made me not enjoy the accomodation I booked. Since it was the coldest day of the year they decided to move all guests who stays in the container van rooms to their building rooms. To move In their main building I need to add more payment and we were relocated to building 5. It was also an advantage since the Foresta Cafe was there and the playroom (not so much in there but still worth the visit). However, the room we were in was so dusty, the aircon was blowing some dusty air and the carpet was so dirty. It ruined the whole trip and even of they were able to change the beddings and vacuum the carpet it was still tickling our noses. We were really looking forward to a nice Christmas trip but yeah. I booked 3 nights because we really love the place. 😭 The next day I asked again to be moved to a different room, they said they were fully booked but alas there was an available room next to us. The first room was so inconvenient because whenever we turn the lights off the WIFI also goes off. The fridge was not working well, the temperature outside was much better. The second room was better than the first room but the exhaust fan wasn't working. The breakfast was only located in the main restaurant which was 15 mins (waiting for the electric car) away from our building. It was a race to get to breakfast and the seating was not enough to be near the buffet. Time is running and you have Marathon between your table and the buffet table. Food was great though they alternate between the dates. Dinner was also good and had great service but not so much choice of small dished for a small family. Local food at it's best! La Foresta Cafe was interesting. They helped us keep our Christmas pies in their fridge. The only way to order was via the QR on the table but the catch was you have to pay right away for your order to go through which waa different from the main restaurant. So there we were waiting for our food but they didn't really get through and had to end up sitting and waiting for an hour. The next day it took 30 mins. for the food to come. The taste was good serving was big, can share. The electric cars were very prompt and the drivers were very kind and polite. The food again was really yummy! The staff were friendly too. You can buy swan/duck feed at 5rmb/2 packs at the coffee shop at the reception. They were giving away eyemask and heatpacks. The bottles water was also free. The snack at the room was cheaper than the vending machine. It is far from the town so make sure you have what you need before heading to the resort. They have hangers and iron in every room at building 5 where we stayed. Not a lot of English speaking staff so bring some Mandarin phrases or get ready with a translator APP. After a long mixed review I just wish that the resort informed us ahead that the accomodation will not be available and made an option for rebooking or ensure better accomodation it was really a hassle.

The hotel exceeded expectations as always with its impeccable service. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring e very comfortable stay. Special mention to Mr. Noel of Estilo restaurant who attended all our needs. The service provided by Mr. Noel was incredibly accommodating and made my birthday and our family day extra special! And also shout out to Mr. Charlie( Estilo) , Ms. Michelle from front desk for a great service experience! Will always come back to this hotel. Highly recommended for a memorable getaway!

Location is a very good option for those who don't want to bother travelling early or late at night to the airport. The main issue for international travellers in China and at this hotel is that they do require Chinese mobile phone numbers only to get connected to wifi - sad, very sad. Well, as we should be leaving in the morning and check-ined late we didn't want to bother much about this wifi setup issue with reception. The view is great in the morning, at least from the 702 room. The fridge was full with what you see down below.

Overall, I was quite satisfied with this stay. After the renovation, the bathroom in the room was quite spacious, but the bedroom seemed a bit small. The bedside cabinets and sofas didn't match well, and there was always a feeling of all-seasons. But fortunately, the service of the staff was very good. At first, I was not very satisfied with the room view. I am very grateful to the lobby manager Betty Xiao for her coordination, which made me very satisfied. On the day of check-in, I went to Xianghui Restaurant on the second floor at around 1pm and ordered fried rice and wontons with my friends. When he learned that it was my birthday that day, he also arranged a small cake and fruit to go to the room. It was a surprise! For breakfast this morning, I can only give 7 points to the catering. Shanghai breakfast is pretty good. The portion of the dishes in the Chinese food stall is a bit hard to describe. There is only a small amount on a large plate. I thought the dishes were almost gone and waited for more dishes. Later I learned that it was to ensure that the dishes were not dry. The dishes were served in a timely manner in small quantities and multiple times. This is quite speechless. I don’t mean anything else. I just don’t understand this idea. Originally, an ADD and a little bit of dishes will only make the customer experience bad. Fortunately, the service of the restaurant is online, especially when I arrived at the restaurant lilian wu She always had a smile on her face and was very attentive and careful.
