The hotel has a great location—the main shopping street and the waterfront are within walking distance. The metro is within walking distance, which is very important (a two-minute walk). This is especially important because, when returning to the hotel tired in the evening, we could quickly get from the metro to the hotel. I also want to express my sincere gratitude to the reception manager, Suki — she helped us arrange our domestic flight to the Avatar Mountains (we couldn't check in or choose seats). She was a very pleasant and responsible woman! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Having stayed at numerous top-tier five-star hotels both domestically and internationally, especially many in Shanghai, The Bellagio Shanghai is one of the very few that makes me want to return again and again. It's grand yet refined, with impeccable attention to detail. This stay was even better; Penny from guest services was beautiful and enthusiastic. She called and messaged me in advance to inquire about my check-in needs, and upon learning I was with a friend's family, she proactively arranged our rooms on the same floor and close to each other. She thoughtfully prepared fruit and toiletries for the children and even helped coordinate with their partner brand, Range Rover, for station drop-off, ensuring my friend's family and I had a perfect stay. The location is superb, convenient for both The Bund and North Bund, offering Suzhou Creek views, quiet yet central. Another highlight is the fantastic breakfast; The Bellagio's mini wontons are arguably the best in the country. This is a purely handwritten review, and I am extremely, extremely satisfied.

The hotel facilities aren't brand new, and it doesn't have all the trendy, flashy stuff you see in influencer-style hotels, but it has everything you need. The AC and hot water work great, the bed is very comfortable, and the toiletries are all there. It's perfectly adequate for a regular stay and doesn't detract from the experience at all – truly great value for money. Honestly, when I stay at a hotel, I don't look for luxury; attentive service and cleanliness are enough. This hotel doesn't rely on gimmicks; it's all about genuine care. It's perfect whether you're traveling for leisure or business, and it's definitely a place I'd choose again next time. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

This hotel is super conveniently located right next to the Dashijie subway station, making it easy to get around to places like People's Square, Nanjing Road, and Jing'an Temple. Plus, Yunnan Road Food Street is just a stone's throw away. The hotel itself has a charming 'old money' vibe, full of character. This time, my room was spotless, the soundproofing was excellent, and I had a lovely view of the Art Park. The hotel breakfast also offers local specialties, and the xiaolongbao were quite good. There's a laundry room with a washer and a dryer, but they were a bit complicated to operate, so I hope they can improve that.

After spending over two months in Shanghai, The Yangtze Hotel was the fifth hotel I chose during my trip. The first thing that drew me in was its location on Hankou Road – a tranquil spot amidst the hustle and bustle, much quieter than hotels directly on Nanjing West Road. Plus, it's right next to People's Square Metro Station; you can enter the station within two minutes of leaving the hotel. Extremely convenient! If you want to go shopping, just turn left out of the hotel and walk one block, and you're on Nanjing West Road. There are plenty of dining options around the hotel. The hotel's own Rose 1903 restaurant on the second floor is excellent; my mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. If your dining bill exceeds 800 RMB, they even offer a complimentary professional photo session, and the pictures turned out beautifully. The rooms are also very spacious. We booked one room with a balcony and one without, and both were very satisfying. The balcony room actually had two balconies, one accessible from the bathroom and one from the main room. It was lovely to enjoy the breeze on the balcony in the early mornings and evenings. My family will be returning to Shanghai in a couple of months, and my mother has already said we'll definitely be staying at this hotel again.

This hotel is stunning and luxurious, with a beautiful environment that leaves a strong first impression. However, it is quite old, and the maintenance is lacking: the room’s parquet flooring was damaged, the shower floor was cracked, the bathroom TV didn’t work, and there were stains on the carpet and walls. On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent and offered a wide variety. Unfortunately, there were some disappointments: • No toilet with a bidet shower system, which is surprising for a high-end hotel. • The pool was not filled to its normal water level, and the pool bar advertised was closed during our stay. • Not enough sun loungers around the pool, making it difficult to relax comfortably. This hotel has great potential, but it needs better upkeep to fully live up to its luxurious reputation.

Their service was truly outstanding, so friendly and professional, and incredibly enthusiastic. She even thoughtfully upgraded our room, giving us this fantastic river view room. I have to say, this surprise really elevated the entire check-in experience to another level! A huge thank you for her attentiveness and service. Meeting such staff during a trip truly leaves a lasting and excellent impression of a hotel. Also, the hotel's rooftop is definitely a must-visit! If you're staying here, don't miss the views from the rooftop. Standing there and looking at Shanghai's cityscape and the river view, the panoramic sight is truly breathtaking. It's beautiful during the day, and when the lights come on at night, it's a completely different atmosphere. The entire splendor of Shanghai is right before your eyes; it's truly, truly gorgeous. From the room view and hotel service to the overall experience, this stay left me extremely satisfied. Especially in a city like Shanghai, being able to have such a beautiful river view room, waking up to such a scene in the morning, and enjoying Shanghai's dazzling night view in the evening, is truly blissful. If you're traveling to Shanghai, I highly recommend staying here once! Whether you're on a romantic trip, traveling with friends, or simply looking for a place to truly enjoy Shanghai's urban scenery, this place is absolutely worth it. 💕

My stay here was pleasant in every aspect. The hotel is conveniently located with excellent transportation links nearby. The front desk staff were welcoming and efficient, handling check-ins smoothly and creating a relaxed atmosphere for communication. Guest Relations Specialists Leah and Lynn were particularly attentive and patient, making all daily inquiries and requests hassle-free. The room was clean and tidy, contributing to a great overall experience. If you're celebrating a birthday, I recommend communicating it in advance – there might be a surprise! 🎈 The infinity pool is also very photogenic.

The front desk staff, particularly QiQi, provided excellent and attentive service. The room had comfortable bedding, and the shower water temperature was just right, making for a pleasant experience. The internet speed was fast, which was convenient for work. Parking was easy and secure, and the location was also great.

The hotel's location is convenient, not far from the subway station, making it very easy for commuting and getting things done. The overall style of the hotel is simple and elegant, the lobby has a great atmosphere, the hallways are quiet, and the soundproofing is excellent, so you won't be disturbed by outside noise at all. The room layout is well-designed, with clear distinctions between the work and rest areas, and the room size is ample, so it doesn't feel cramped. The room cleanliness is impeccable, and the toiletries have a fresh scent. The bedding is comfortable, allowing for a good rest and relaxation after a busy day. Front desk staff Z handled check-in and extension procedures quickly and even proactively offered recommendations for nearby dining and shopping spots. The hotel has a gym and a self-service laundry room, providing complete amenities. Overall, the stay was comfortable and reassuring. Choosing this hotel was a great decision, and I will definitely book it again in the future.
