__WeChat229852****Staying at the Bellagio Shanghai on the Bund, right in the heart of the city, far exceeded my expectations. It's definitely one of the most satisfying hotel experiences I've had recently.
**Environment and Room:** The hotel is located by the Suzhou Creek, right next to the Waibaidu Bridge, making it incredibly convenient to get to both the Bund and Nanjing Road. The room itself was incredibly spacious, with a modern and luxurious design, impeccably maintained and spotlessly clean. Most importantly, the soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a perfectly quiet night's sleep even in the bustling city center.
**Dining Experience:** Breakfast was semi-buffet style, offering both a rich variety of choices and exquisite presentation. The buffet items were fresh, and the à la carte dishes were truly a highlight. Whether it was the Chinese dim sum or the Western omelets, everything was prepared with great care, and the taste was impressive.
**Service Quality:** From check-in to check-out, the service was consistently excellent. Ellie and Moon were professional yet friendly, always responsive to our needs, making us feel comfortable and at ease.
Overall, this is a hotel that perfectly combines location, facilities, dining, and service. It's highly recommended for guests who value quality in their travels.

XXingsuijiyiThe hotel's location is great, less than a 5-minute walk from both Exit 1 and Exit 6 of the Dashijie Metro Station. It's also a 10-minute walk to the Shanghai Museum People's Square branch. The room hygiene was good during my stay, and it was very quiet, with excellent soundproofing, except for the occasional door closing sound from the hallway. It would be even better if there were more variety in the breakfast options.

AAnnisidelvxingbijiFacilities: Compared to some of the hotels in the old Bund area, Banyan Tree is a newcomer, so the overall facilities are newer. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, all over 60 square meters, which is excellent for this location.
Service: When checking in, since there weren't two adjacent rooms available in our original booking (we were a family of 4 adults and 1 child), they proactively upgraded our room type. The service during our stay was also very attentive. As it was my husband's and mother-in-law's birthdays the day before and the last day of our stay, respectively, they even sent us a small cake, which was a very thoughtful touch.
Ambiance: With Christmas approaching, the hotel already had a strong festive atmosphere, especially the Christmas tree in the garden. It looked absolutely beautiful when lit up at night and was perfect for photos, haha.

MMelody mengA very satisfying stay. The room was incredibly clean; even though it's an older hotel, it smelled fresh with no peculiar odors. The room facilities weren't outdated either, feeling quite high-quality. The service was excellent, with staff from the front desk to housekeeping being warm and attentive.
The surrounding area has plenty of businesses, with a rich variety of Chinese and international restaurants and snacks. The hotel entrance is right at People's Square subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
The only minor regret is that the classic red roses were replaced with pink ones. Personally, I think the red ones were more elegant and timeless.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with thoughtful touches. The bed was especially comfortable, and I appreciated the strong water pressure in the shower. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, contributing to a relaxing environment after a long day.
Service:
The staff was consistently professional and attentive. Check-in and check-out were both smooth, and any requests I made were handled promptly. While not everyone spoke fluent English, they were eager to assist and always did so with a positive attitude.
Dining:
Breakfast offered a good mix of local and Western dishes. I found the variety and quality to be above average for a business hotel. The restaurant staff was courteous and ensured the dining area remained clean and well-stocked throughout service.
Facilities:
The gym and public areas were clean and modern. I didn’t get a chance to use the meeting rooms, but they looked well-equipped. The hotel also had a calm, business-friendly atmosphere that made it ideal for both work and rest.
Location:
Situated in Fengxian, it’s a bit outside central Shanghai, but perfect if you have business in the area. It’s relatively easy to access via Didi or taxi. The nearby surroundings are quiet and safe, with a few local restaurants and convenience stores in walking distance.
Overall:
A solid choice for both business and leisure travelers seeking comfort and consistency in Fengxian. I would definitely consider staying here again and recommend it to others looking for a dependable Marriott experience outside the city center.

GGuest UserLocation of the hotel is quite central and about 15-20mins walk to the Bund or Yu Yuan.
Their room is generally quite clean and well maintained with some old marks around but overall was a pretty comfortable stay.
The staff there were all very friendly and helpful making the stay pleasant.
There is also free self service laundry for guest but the only issue is it only opens from 9am to 10pm which pretty much is only useful if you are staying in the hotel and not doing anything as there's not much facility in the hotel.

MM514882****Traveling to Shanghai with my family, I spent a long time choosing a hotel and was ultimately drawn to the Regent's location. The hotel grounds are also very spacious and not overshadowed by other tall buildings, making it very bright. The overall experience was excellent, and my family was happy. The facilities were also comprehensive. This trip was too rushed, so I'll definitely come back to enjoy it properly next time. Just a small request: the hotel breakfast could be improved.

SSTEPAN LEVITCKIII recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Shanghai Vista and was very pleased with my stay. The hotel perfectly combines comfort and high-quality service. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed—a comfortable bed, high-quality bathroom fixtures, pleasant touches like a tea set, and excellent soundproofing.
I'd also like to highlight the staff: the receptionists were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. Check-in was quick, and any questions were resolved promptly. A huge thank you to employee Jack for helping me with a late check-out.
The location is also convenient—transportation, shops, and great walking areas are nearby. The breakfasts are delicious and varied, with an excellent selection of both European and Asian dishes.
I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and high-quality service in Shanghai.

GGuest UserHighly recommended. Mr. Li provided outstanding service throughout my stay. He helped me with multiple things, including changing rooms and finding items I needed. My Chinese isn’t very good, but he always listened carefully and communicated in a way I could understand. What impressed me most was that he assisted me right away even at midnight when I needed to change rooms. He genuinely gives his best to every guest.
The hotel does have a few minor downsides and some facilities were a bit broken, and it’s slightly far from the subway but the excellent service made my stay truly memorable.
