QQinghexuxianzhiGot a room upgrade, which was a nice surprise! The hotel is very close to The Bund, and Yu Garden station is within walking distance, making transportation very convenient. The room was quite soundproof, and unlike other hotels on this trip, there was no sewage odor. Breakfast was also good with plenty of options. Overall, I recommend staying here.

AAnonymous UserExtremely satisfied with my stay. Even though I didn't win anything in the many raffles, the front desk still gave me a little lion toy. The service was thoughtful in every aspect, and the hotel was very relaxing. The room with a terrace was truly fantastic; the actual view was exactly like in the promotional pictures. The iconic Shanghai skyline in the distance and the serene Suzhou River downstairs created a striking contrast, adding a unique charm. And most importantly, you can smoke out there! 🤦♂️ Five-star recommendation.

GGuest UserCame here for a New Year's gathering with friends. The room was incredibly spacious, the bed was huge and very clean, almost like a mini-suite. The swimming and fitness facilities were all well-equipped, and any issues that arose were resolved promptly. The service was also excellent; they brought glasses and ice cubes right away when requested. I also thought the outdoor pool looked lovely; it would be great to stay here for a few days in the summer.

ZZhenxiaoshengPoppyI arrived a bit late, and the front desk staff proactively upgraded my room. The common areas have a really nice vibe, and the front desk service was excellent. The room itself was genuinely unique, even featuring a large thermostatic bathtub. If it feels too warm, you can contact the front desk to have the switch turned off. The river view from the room was absolutely stunning; seeing the river from a higher elevation offers a distinctly different experience than from below. This was a truly special stay, and it's definitely a hotel worth revisiting.

GGuest UserHotel is in a superb location right beside Raffles City shopping mall and a metro station. Plenty of eateries around. A15mins walk to Nanjing pedestrian street and along the way u will pass by Tianjin Road and vicinity where all the popular eateries are. Long queues at most of these eateries but the queue moves fast so dont be afraid to queue.
Hotel gives a nostalgic vibes, rooms are clean but the furnishings are dated.
Hotel staff are excellent in their service. We had no time for the free high tea every afternoon and they offered to pack for us on the day of our check out when we went back to retrieve our luggage after sightseeing. They also helped us with transport to the next hotel at a cheaper rate than Didi. Free 1 time mini bar items as well.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the remote area in Shanghai. It worked well for me as I was on a business trip and had meetings in the area. But I would not recommend it for tourists. It was more than 1 hour drive without traffic from Shanghai center. Hotel was clean. But there was noise disturbance due to some parties / night club, drunk people. Also air con was not working and it was very warm in the room, although it was January and cold outside

GGuest UserThe best location ever! 🤩🤩🤩 in a historical building 😍😍😍 that is amazing!!!!! and now I would like to share some information why it’s not perfect: Not enough usb chargers for two phones and a power bank….an air conditioning (heater) was pretty loud🥺 and the hotel stuff wanted to enter my room in the morning (well, they were insisting to enter) when I wanted to sleep so much after several nights with no sleep at all… and I still don’t understand why, because they talk in Chinese……. Anyways, it’s a good hotel to stay and explore beautiful Shanghai 👌

AAnonymous UserThe front desk service was attentive and warm. The room was a bit small, though, and for some reason, there was a constant thudding noise at night, but I was too lazy to switch rooms. The bathroom, on the other hand, was very spacious. The service at the Chinese restaurant during dinner was exceptionally attentive and enthusiastic; big thumbs up to the young lady there! Overall, I was quite satisfied!

Ssisirain1During the Chinese New Year holiday, the hotel was quite busy, and rooms were scarce. However, Roman Zhang, the manager at the front desk, kindly upgraded my room for free, which saved me a lot of waiting time. The room itself was quite spacious. The hotel also has a gym, a swimming pool, and a lobby bar. Plus, food deliveries can be brought directly to your room by a robot. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.

AAnonymous UserChoosing this hotel was definitely the right decision. Its biggest advantage is the location, being so close to the Bund, which made planning our itinerary incredibly convenient. The room was very clean, and all the essential amenities were provided, ensuring a comfortable stay. The gym and laundry facilities on the fourth floor were a great bonus, adding a lot of convenience to our trip, and we used them frequently. The front desk team deserves praise for their quick responses and excellent attitude. Overall, the hotel performed consistently well in all key areas, offering great value for money.
