As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel. However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

The breakfast is incredibly rich and exquisite, and at only 128 per person, it's a great value. I highly recommend booking an executive room; the executive lounge is definitely worth it as you can visit multiple times throughout the day. Both the hotel lobby and the rooms are beautifully designed. The butler service, especially Xana, was excellent and very enthusiastic. She went out of her way to upgrade my room and even granted executive lounge access despite my booking being a non-executive room type. The only downsides are that there's some construction noise from a site next to the hotel, so earplugs might be needed. Also, after 9 PM, there's a staff member stationed by the elevator entrance requiring guests to swipe their cards to enter, which felt a bit strange and I didn't quite understand the purpose.

Out of all the hotels I've stayed in, this is the first time I've been captivated by a lobby's blue inverted-triangle chandelier – it immediately caught my eye the moment I walked in. It's so different from the crystal chandeliers you see in many high-end hotels, truly unique. The lobby's aroma was also very pleasant. The room had excellent soundproofing and a grand design. The high-thread-count bedding felt like sleeping on clouds, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable – a lifesaver for someone like me with back problems. The hotel also has a pool and a gym, but I was pressed for time this trip and couldn't experience them. What left the deepest impression on me was the freshly cooked noodle station at breakfast; the chef enthusiastically recommended the day's specials. This kind of thoughtful service, treating guests like family, is true luxury. The hotel's parking spaces are also ample, so even new drivers won't have any issues. I'll definitely choose the Eastin Hotel again for my next business trip to Guangzhou.

I had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen recently. The hotel is located in the heart of Shenzhen’s Futian district, a close distance to Futian high speed rail station. We felt welcome from the moment we walked through the door with refreshing welcome drinks and friendly service. The checking process was quick and smooth. We selected a room that had access to the club lounge. The lounge is excellent, with 5 meals a day provided. The quality of the food is high and the there is a varied selection to choose from. However, i would recommend going down to the main restaurant for breakfast. What really made our stay great was the fantastic room service and general friendliness of the staff. While we were staying in the club lounge we were lucky enough to have Mandy take of us. She did an amazing job helping us with any help we needed. She was extremely professional and her communication in English was very impressive. I would definitely come and stay again, and hopefully have Mandy there to look after us during our next trip.

Had a fantastic stay! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient to cycle along the coast or grab a meal. Taxis usually cover about 2 kilometers. Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a sea-view room, and we could even see the Fisher Girl statue. Despite being close to the elevator, the room was very quiet and well-soundproofed. The vanilla latte at breakfast was delicious. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

So happy to be back at Zhuhai Chimelong again! Even after all these years, the room is still clean and bright. The complimentary mini-bar and water station are a nice touch. The dolphins in the dolphin pool are so lively and adorable, actively interacting with guests. Watching the flamingos on Flamingo Island is also incredibly beautiful. Beyond the classic ocean-themed lobby, check-in and check-out were seamless with no waiting. The pool and water world offer a wide variety of options and are open all day. The gym equipment is new, and there's even a self-service laundry room. With diverse dining choices like evening tea, afternoon tea, and buffets, plus shuttle buses and boat tours, everything from dining to accommodation and transportation is incredibly convenient. Besides the amusement rides, we absolutely loved the marine animals at the Ocean Kingdom. The newly added Spaceship Park is also fantastic. In addition to the rides, it educates and entertains through various means like pictures and models, conveying knowledge about environmental protection, the ocean, and marine animals. The indoor venues are perfect for rainy days or extreme heat. We had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay!

First off, a big thank you to Flora for arranging everything! We stayed at Wanghailou and MGM before this, and while those were satisfactory, Angsana's service truly surprised us. They upgraded our original sea view room to a 'Premium Sea View,' which was fantastic. The elevator goes directly down to the pool, and the way the pool blends with the trees here creates a wonderful, Bali-like atmosphere. Plus, the sunshine in Zhuhai isn't as intense as in Sanya, making it feel very relaxing – a much more laid-back vibe than the scenic pool at Wanghailou. The only minor point was on the other side of the pool, it seemed like it needed a good clean, as there was a bit of plastic trash. Since it wasn't a holiday, they also kindly arranged an early check-in and an extra hour for check-out, which I genuinely appreciated. At MGM, despite many empty rooms, they insisted on a 3 PM check-in, so comparisons are inevitable. The room facilities aren't brand new, but for the price point, they're perfectly fine, especially considering the neighboring hotels are over 3K. The Thai restaurant, 'Miyan,' was delicious; every dish was excellent, even better than most Thai restaurants. Irene also helped us secure the only private room, making for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. My only suggestion: the price of the Coke was unnecessarily high. The food prices were reasonable, but the Coke felt really out of place. Also, I'd suggest considering packages that include the minibar. For a resort hotel, a small investment there could greatly enhance the guest experience. Overall, this was the best part of our trip, and we'll definitely be back!

Arrived late (930pm) at the hotel and was welcomed by the receptionist. My ******* delivery also arrived concurrently and the receptionist kindly kept it for me. Was asking him about those parcels hahaha very kind of them to keep them for incoming guests! Appreciated the shuttle bus service to the airport. Very timely. Thank you again.

I originally made a standard booking, but to my pleasant surprise, the hotel proactively upgraded my room upon check-in, which was a fantastic bonus! The upgraded room was on a higher floor, offering an incredibly expansive view. Every evening as night fell, I could take in the dazzling city lights. Coming back to the room after a day of travel and quietly gazing at the lights outside the window made all the day's hustle and fatigue disappear. The room cleaning was meticulous, and all facilities were in perfect working order, making for a quiet and comfortable stay. The staff were warm and attentive, and the check-in process was efficient and smooth. My overall experience was excellent. This hotel is perfect for both business trips and short getaways. I'll definitely choose it again for my next trip and sincerely recommend it to everyone.

This is a classic hotel in the heart of Guangzhou, and its location is really good. The exterior also looks quite grand. The rooms are spacious, and the views from them are very nice. You can also go up to the 63rd floor for an even better view. Breakfast was decent, but it was a shame that during my three-day stay, the noodle station only had a chef on the last morning. I found the front desk service quite subpar. I waited in line for ages, and several male receptionists kept ignoring me or shunting me to a different queue. They were busy chatting casually with the guests in front of them and didn't bother calling the next person. They spent half an hour on pointless conversation, and it felt like it would never end. I was so annoyed waiting that they finally called out a female receptionist from the back to help me with my room card. Also, in the lobby, we were dragging our luggage around, and no staff member came over to offer assistance. Overall, I felt there was hardly any service. There's no self-service laundry room, which I think is a significant drawback. Since there are no room service robots, I had to go up and down to collect my food orders every time, which was a real hassle. The room hygiene was good, but I find it incredibly stingy for a five-star hotel to charge for a tiny bit of coke and other items in the minibar. Many hotels now offer complimentary minibars. To sum it up: excellent location, outdated facilities, and a poor service experience.
