The hotel's location is excellent, right next to UpperHills and Bijia Mountain Park. The room size is decent, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer great views. Breakfast variety is acceptable, with most essentials covered. Overall, the hotel service is quite good, but the breakfast restaurant service is very average. The biggest rip-off, though, is the hotel's spa. It's overpriced and the massage technique is terrible. I'd say it's the worst spa experience I've had at a five-star hotel! I felt like I was completely ripped off! A total waste of time, I hope everyone avoids it.

This Marriott hotel in Shenzhen offered an excellent stay. The overall atmosphere was understated luxury, not overly commercialized. The room had great natural light and was meticulously cleaned. What impressed me most was the staff's service; the guest relations specialist was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and proactively attended to many small details. During my leisure time, I tried the hotel's mooncakes. The custard lava filling was soft and silky, and the red bean paste with aged tangerine peel had a rich flavor, clearly showing the quality ingredients used. Whether for a short stay or purchasing Mid-Autumn Festival gifts, this hotel won't disappoint. I look forward to my next visit.

Out of all the hotels I've stayed in, this is the first time I've been captivated by a lobby's blue inverted-triangle chandelier – it immediately caught my eye the moment I walked in. It's so different from the crystal chandeliers you see in many high-end hotels, truly unique. The lobby's aroma was also very pleasant. The room had excellent soundproofing and a grand design. The high-thread-count bedding felt like sleeping on clouds, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable – a lifesaver for someone like me with back problems. The hotel also has a pool and a gym, but I was pressed for time this trip and couldn't experience them. What left the deepest impression on me was the freshly cooked noodle station at breakfast; the chef enthusiastically recommended the day's specials. This kind of thoughtful service, treating guests like family, is true luxury. The hotel's parking spaces are also ample, so even new drivers won't have any issues. I'll definitely choose the Eastin Hotel again for my next business trip to Guangzhou.

A huge shout-out to Vanilla at the front desk of The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen Galaxy! My stay was absolutely perfect. The lobby ambiance is grand and elegant, and the location is superb. However, the most outstanding aspect was undoubtedly the professional service from the front office team. A special thank you to Front Office Director Perry and the entire front desk team: Hedy, Jimmy, Jennifer, Molly, Erin, Dannie, Koko, Sahar, Joy, Bella, and Eva. The whole team is incredibly well-trained and works seamlessly together, maintaining order even during peak check-in times. Both check-in and check-out processes were efficient and quick. The team members were consistently gentle and polite, proactively explaining hotel facilities, local transportation, and member benefits. They were prompt in responding to requests for luggage storage, coordinating room needs, and answering inquiries. Their attention to detail was exceptional, perfectly embodying the Ritz-Carlton's 'Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen' philosophy. Each team member was patient, meticulous, and handled situations with poise, resolving issues efficiently and thoughtfully. There was no cumbersome waiting at any point, and my travel fatigue instantly melted away. When I visit Futian next time, The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen Galaxy will still be my top choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

This is an older hotel located in a bustling area. The sea-view rooms offer a distant glimpse of the 'Fisher Girl' statue, though it's more of a 'glimpse' than a full 'view.' It's a shame that for such a well-known, established brand, the facilities are quite disappointing. It's also not very friendly for those driving. On a weekend affected by Typhoon Nangka along the coast, hotel parking became a real headache. Most of the B1 parking is outdoors, so you're bound to get wet in a downpour. B2 is an underground garage, but it's really only convenient for check-in. Once you're checked in and want to leave, it's a hassle. You check in at the front desk on the first floor. Out of 5 elevators, one is permanently stuck on the third floor. Of the remaining 4, only 2 go down to B2. To exit with your car after checking in, you first have to go to the first-floor front desk to scan a code. After scanning, if you get an elevator that only goes to B1, you either have to transfer to an elevator on the other side of B1, or hope you get lucky and catch an elevator that goes straight to B2. Because when you press the button on the first floor, the B1 elevator arrives first, and the B2 elevator will show it's going up. Unless there are other guests in the elevator also going to the garage, but you still need to scan on the first floor to leave, so the chance of getting a direct elevator to B2 is practically zero. The rooms are a bit larger, but the amenities are inferior to newer hotels. Tissues are only available at the sink; there are no tissues on the desk or nightstands in the room. The bathroom also lacks disposable toilet seat covers, which was quite disappointing.

I highly recommend the Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel in Zhuhai! This time, I brought my family for a vacation at Chimelong, and the stay experience was absolutely amazing. It truly lives up to its reputation as a flagship resort hotel. Upon entering the lobby, the opulent, ocean-themed decor and incredibly high ceilings immediately caught my eye. The sophisticated aroma instantly set the perfect vacation mood. Check-in at the front desk was highly efficient, and the staff were incredibly thoughtful. They proactively helped with our luggage and provided detailed information about the hotel's Water World, Flamingo Island, and Dolphin Pool operating hours. The attention to detail was impeccable. We chose a sea-view room with a spacious outlook, offering direct views of the stunning ocean and garden landscapes outside the window. The natural light was excellent. The room was well-equipped with a quickly cooling, temperature-controlled air conditioner and a large-screen TV. Even the internet speed was super fast, making work and entertainment effortless. The bedding and pillows were just right – neither too soft nor too firm – and the high-thread-count sheets were soft and gentle on the skin. The room's soundproofing was excellent; I slept soundly all night. The bathroom featured a completely separate wet and dry area. Water pressure was abundant, and hot water was instant. The toiletries were from a well-known brand and had a pleasant fragrance. Dining was also flawless. The buffet restaurant was enormous, with an astonishing array of dishes. Fresh seafood sashimi, specialty freshly cooked noodles, Cantonese BBQ, and exquisite desserts – everything was available. The ingredients were incredibly fresh. Housekeeping service was exceptionally thorough. Not only was everything spotless, but they also diligently replenished drinking water and children's exclusive toiletries daily. The location is superb; it's not only very close to Chimelong Ocean Kingdom but also convenient for getting to Hengqin Port. Parking was ample. Overall, this is a high-quality hotel with no shortcomings, from its hardware facilities and service attitude to its dining and entertainment. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Zhuhai! The butler service was also excellent!

Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay

First off, a big thank you to Flora for arranging everything! We stayed at Wanghailou and MGM before this, and while those were satisfactory, Angsana's service truly surprised us. They upgraded our original sea view room to a 'Premium Sea View,' which was fantastic. The elevator goes directly down to the pool, and the way the pool blends with the trees here creates a wonderful, Bali-like atmosphere. Plus, the sunshine in Zhuhai isn't as intense as in Sanya, making it feel very relaxing – a much more laid-back vibe than the scenic pool at Wanghailou. The only minor point was on the other side of the pool, it seemed like it needed a good clean, as there was a bit of plastic trash. Since it wasn't a holiday, they also kindly arranged an early check-in and an extra hour for check-out, which I genuinely appreciated. At MGM, despite many empty rooms, they insisted on a 3 PM check-in, so comparisons are inevitable. The room facilities aren't brand new, but for the price point, they're perfectly fine, especially considering the neighboring hotels are over 3K. The Thai restaurant, 'Miyan,' was delicious; every dish was excellent, even better than most Thai restaurants. Irene also helped us secure the only private room, making for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. My only suggestion: the price of the Coke was unnecessarily high. The food prices were reasonable, but the Coke felt really out of place. Also, I'd suggest considering packages that include the minibar. For a resort hotel, a small investment there could greatly enhance the guest experience. Overall, this was the best part of our trip, and we'll definitely be back!

Hands down the best hotel I’ve booked on my entire business trip so far. If you’re travelling for work and flying in or out of Guangzhou Baiyun, this place is unbeatable — it’s minutes from the airport (near the T3 terminal) and just a short walk from Renhe Station on Metro Line 3 (Exit C1), so getting anywhere in the city is effortless. The location keeps getting better. It’s walking distance to Huatong Plaza and the Huatongli commercial street, with plenty of food options right there including KFC, McDonald’s and Starbucks — so you’re never stuck for a meal or a coffee after a long day. The room itself was beautifully decorated and genuinely comfortable. Best of all, it had English TV channels — this was the only hotel on my whole trip where I could actually sit down and watch something I understood, which meant a lot after busy days of meetings and sourcing. But what really sealed the deal was the service. They held my luggage, helped me manage my orders, and the airport pick-up and drop-off made the whole stay stress-free. On top of that you get a pool, sauna and breakfast included. Honestly, my only regret is that I didn’t book this hotel for the entire trip. I’ll be back next time I’m in Guangzhou — highly recommended for business travellers.

My business trip to Shenzhen this time exceeded my expectations in terms of the overall stay experience. When I checked in, it was peak time, and the lobby was quite crowded. Joy handled everything very smoothly, without any rush, and quickly processed my check-in. She also took care of various small on-site requests without needing repeated back-and-forth communication. The room's maintenance was satisfactory; the desk was dust-free, and the bathroom was clean and tidy. After a long day, returning to a clean and comfortable room was great. The hardware isn't brand new, but it's practical enough for a business trip. The internet speed was stable, and the desk space was ample, allowing me to catch up on some work in the evening. The hotel's location is very convenient for business travelers, being close to many business hubs. There are plenty of dining options downstairs, and getting taxis to and from the hotel is easy. The soundproofing between floors was also good, allowing for a peaceful rest after a busy day. As someone who frequently travels for work, I value this kind of reliable and unpretentious experience, and this is my genuine impression of the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

This is a classic hotel in the heart of Guangzhou, and its location is really good. The exterior also looks quite grand. The rooms are spacious, and the views from them are very nice. You can also go up to the 63rd floor for an even better view. Breakfast was decent, but it was a shame that during my three-day stay, the noodle station only had a chef on the last morning. I found the front desk service quite subpar. I waited in line for ages, and several male receptionists kept ignoring me or shunting me to a different queue. They were busy chatting casually with the guests in front of them and didn't bother calling the next person. They spent half an hour on pointless conversation, and it felt like it would never end. I was so annoyed waiting that they finally called out a female receptionist from the back to help me with my room card. Also, in the lobby, we were dragging our luggage around, and no staff member came over to offer assistance. Overall, I felt there was hardly any service. There's no self-service laundry room, which I think is a significant drawback. Since there are no room service robots, I had to go up and down to collect my food orders every time, which was a real hassle. The room hygiene was good, but I find it incredibly stingy for a five-star hotel to charge for a tiny bit of coke and other items in the minibar. Many hotels now offer complimentary minibars. To sum it up: excellent location, outdated facilities, and a poor service experience.
