Very spacious, clean and cozy, no public showering area nor onsen.
Hotel is very nice. Facilities are incredibly new and cozy. The Hotel offers exceptional service and luxurious accommodations. All staff are professional, helpful and serene to create an unforgettable experience for us.
The hotel is located in the mountains near Shuzenji Temple. We originally booked this hotel expecting a beautiful view, but the waiter actually gave us a room facing the staff entrance. Not only did we not have a window view, but as soon as we opened the curtains, we could see the staff coming in and out and the garbage trucks, which really affected our mood. The hygiene in the hot spring dressing room was also worrying. The wall near the exhaust fan was obviously dusty and dirty. The hygiene of this hotel was not very good. 😑 There was hair left by someone on the bedside in the room. Sigh😑, I have to give a bad review.
This was hands down one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in many - work covered, expensive ”5 star hotels”. We had perfect views of Mt. Fuji. The rooms were huge and super well fitted out. It's not the best location wise if you're wanting to go shopping in Gotemba, but this didn't bother us as we hired a car and drove there on our own.
The service was truly exceptional. The staff were incredibly attentive and went way beyond and above.
The driver drove us to our destination (Gotemba train station that we requested) and then realized we were standing around looking where to go - he came over and asked if we were lost and drove us to the correct location (the car rental shop).
The reception gave us a tour of the area to make sure we knew where the lifts were, how to use the various facilities (especially the onsen).
If you have kids or traveling as a couple, I couldn't recommend this place more.
We were assigned an older room that was in dire need of an upgrade. The peeling wallpaper, fraying tatami mat, and sinking mattress made for an uncomfortable stay.
The breakfast was decent, but if you're staying for a few days, I suggest rotating your choices, as the offerings remained practically the same throughout our three-day stay.
The happy hour at the lounge was crowded, yet it featured a good selection of alcohol, which was a nice perk. However, there isn’t much to explore in the vicinity of the hotel unless you are driving.
For a more enjoyable experience, try booking one of the newly renovated rooms. Otherwise, it might be better to seek accommodation in a more centralized location.
I booked the hotel specifically for the evening kaiseki cuisine. I read reviews on Ctrip saying that dinner was included, but when I booked, there was no option to include dinner. But Ctrip replied that it was okay to add it when I arrived. As a result, I thought I should ask one day in advance. Now, when I asked, I was told that I needed to book three days in advance. Ctrip also told me that I had to book three days in advance for the two free transfers mentioned in the reviews. Why don’t you write it in the introduction? When I arrived at the store, I asked if I could add money to have dinner, but it was not possible. I had to book in advance. I said that I had told Ctrip about it, and the store showed me the c-trip page. The list that Ctrip gave me was room only. I was really speechless. There was nothing to eat in this place. It was not good no matter how I arrived. The hotel was not cheap. There was no one at the front desk who could speak English. They just couldn’t speak English at all. I couldn’t understand the most basic words. The hotel service was okay. Later, a guy who could speak a little Chinese came and helped me order takeout. There was food (because it was raining heavily that day and I couldn’t go out). But I came all the way from Tokyo and the experience was really average. The hot spring pool in my room is also very small, about 1.5 square meters? ... Oh. I went to Kikuya the next day. I personally think it is much better. This hotel has no public facilities, just rooms. It is recommended to book good food and shuttle bus three days in advance. If you forget or don't make it, forget it and change hotels. By the way, this hotel is a three-star hotel on Googlemap. Although Kikuya next door is old, it is at least a four-star hotel...
Overall, this hotel is a very cost-effective hotel, especially for guests who play golf. I will stay here again next time. I stayed in the hotel for three consecutive nights with breakfast and dinner. The dinner was different every day and very rich. There were two days of set breakfast and one day of buffet breakfast. You can see Mount Fuji from your room, but because of the cloudy weather, you can only see the top of the mountain for a short time. The rest of the time, Mount Fuji was hiding behind the clouds. It is said that because of the low light pollution, the hotel is very suitable for stargazing, but I ate too much for dinner every day and went to bed early. It's a pity. Next time I will experience the hot springs and stargazing. The hotel's hot spring is Nekogoshi Hot Spring, which has indoor and outdoor facilities. I especially like the outdoor hot spring. You need to walk down a few steps, as if you are in the middle of the woods. When the wind is strong, the leaves rustle, which is very healing. Let's talk about the hotel's golf course. Since I didn't book a package that included playing golf, the playing fee was additional, but it was also very affordable. I like to drive the golf course by myself, without a caddy, and play golf freely. The first nine holes were played in the woods. I was lucky to meet deer unexpectedly on the 2nd and 8th holes, which was a surprise; the last nine holes were more like deep in the wilderness. The golf course is not too difficult and there are not many people. If you don't play golf, you can go to Shuzenji to see the attractions. You can book the hotel's shuttle bus one day in advance to take you to Shuzenji Station, and then take a taxi or bus to go there.
A place where you don't regret spending money at all
The staff are so kind, the accommodations are so pretty, very spacious, and I was able to use the hot springs right away when I wanted to, so it was great!
I felt like I was treated well, so I felt like I was a precious person, and it was great.
I went with my mom, and she was also very satisfiedㅎㅎ Next time, I want to come with my dad too!
Sometimes bugs come into the house (I guess it can't be helped because it's a place where nature is in harmony), and if you call the front desk, they'll take care of it right away!
It's about an 8-10 minute walk from Ito JR. The lighting along the road is not sufficient, so avoid going out alone at night. But there is an Aeon supermarket 5 minutes away, which is quite convenient
I happened to try a restaurant nearby called ”Shou Da An”, which has a strong traditional flavor and tastes great. I highly recommend it!
The room is spacious enough and has a private bath, but the temperature is not very hot, which is worth noting.

JjiayansunriseThe hotel is at the top of the mountain in Shuzenji. You need to take a Marriott bus from Shuzenji Station, which takes about 30 minutes to get there. It rained heavily that day. After the rain, I felt the fresh air and beautiful scenery when I went up the mountain. The environment outside is first-class for vacation. There are large baths, courts, swimming pools and other fitness facilities. The hotel is too big. It takes about 200-300 meters from the reception center to the building where the room is located. There is a shuttle bus every 20 minutes. The room is large, the layout is reasonable, and the decoration is relatively new, but the color is dark. The soft environment of the hotel can be complained. There is no water, no slippers, no phone in the room. The room is slightly damp. The breakfast is a poorly equipped buffet. Dinner arrived late and I didn’t try it, but I guess the breakfast will not be too good after looking at it. Other than these, everything else is good. If you are looking for a quiet place with a good environment for vacation, then this hotel can be chosen.
GGuest UserThe hotel has a free shuttle bus from the No. 2 bus stop at the north exit of Mishima Station to the hotel pier. There are two buses at 1:30 pm and 3 pm. It is best to email the hotel to reserve a parking space. The hotel has a beautiful environment. You can walk around the island in 40 minutes. Guests can also visit the aquarium for free. When the weather is clear, you can see the beautiful scenery of Mount Fuji from a distance. The room is quite spacious with one bedroom and one living room. The balcony faces the bay view and Mount Fuji directly. The French dinner for one night and two meals is also very good, and the breakfast buffet is also delicious. The best thing is that the open-air hot spring pool faces the scenery of Mount Fuji directly, and the environment is super good 👍 I highly recommend staying here.

WWongMeghanThe room is large and extremely nice, all the required amenities are there. The view from the room balcony is magnificent, overseeing the beach . The unseen in the room is nice too, the temperature is just right .
The free taxi service to and from station is very thoughtful and convenient. this is better than shuttle bus service which some hotels offer.
The breakfast options are many with both western, Japanese, and even a bit of chinese.
