Outstanding experience! We would like to sincerely thank the hotel staff and the security team for their professionalism and warm hospitality. The location is absolutely beautiful, exceptionally clean, and offers breathtaking views that create a true sense of peace and relaxation. The breakfast is varied and truly delicious. We enjoyed the place so much that we preferred to spend the entire two days without leaving, simply to soak in the beauty and the incredible sense of tranquility. Everything about this place is far beyond excellent—highly recommended!

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions during overnight layovers. The location is excellent, particularly as I was traveling alone with two children. The breakfast offerings were also quite good. There are numerous dining options available on the domestic arrivals side, which is conveniently located near the hotel, as well as a mini market where essential items can be purchased. We intend to stay at this hotel again in the future.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are spotless and the staff are warm and helpful. The Hotel Spa is lovely—just remember to book early. While the car lane is a bit tight with some construction still ongoing, the location is great, just a short walk to the beach. Also, don’t miss Cocoon Restaurant nearby—the food and service staff are excellent! There is a LA Mora Spa nearby the hotel offers great and reasonable price hot stone massage, head massage and eye lash extensions too.

It was a short overnight stay for us as we are transiting. Location is very near the airport but is still a 15-20mins via taxi depending on the traffic. While there is nothing much outside the hotel area, the hotel itself is pretty self-sufficient and I would not have minded staying there for a couple of days to chill. Spa price was reasonable but unfortunately I did not have the chance to try due to its standardized operating hour. Calling Grab was easy and wifi is strong. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Could not fault Kuta Beach Club and would highly recommend a stay there. This was my 3rd time here and staff are so accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels, beds are super comfortable, good variety of food from breakfast buffet, great air conditioning, and complex is not too big and still has that personal feel.

It was our 3rd stay with Truntum. Booked an executive suite, and loved our stay. It was memorable, beautiful, and very pleasant. The room was huge with a nice balcony to enjoy sea breeze and sound of the wave. Toilet was clean and well provided, a warm welcome card was prepared, and it was a nice touch. However, during our stay, we had an issue with the aircon. Techician was very prompt on repair, but the issue persist on the next day. Since it was our last day, we just bear with it. But overall, we will definitely stay at Truntum again.

The location is excellent—just 200–300 meters from the airport, which makes it perfect for a short 1–2 day stay while waiting for a flight. The free airport shuttle is a big plus. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. Breakfast was tasty and offered a good variety. However, the room is quite small, so it may not be ideal for a longer stay. Cleanliness was generally fine, though the towels had clearly lost their original whiteness. The biggest downside was the soundproofing—I could hear everything: neighbors, people walking in the hallway, even conversations outside in the courtyard. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this might not be the best option.

Hotel is near shopping center near beach. Hotel is well maintained even though not very new. Need to chase for face towels for 2 days even they cleaned and tidied up my room and provided shower towels only. Encountered and experienced digital lock failure and was locked out until staff used their computer to open the room door. Took 1 day for them to replace the digital door lock. Breakfast buffet were pretty good though. The hotel has 2 nice swimming pools too

Really lovely hotel and service, especially hotel staff Ade who really helped out my family with a complimentary early check in and late check out! The room was also spacious with a big balcony facing the sea. The kitchen pantry was also surprisingly well equipped for us to even cook a meal indoors. The location was also pretty sweet, situated 5 minutes away from the beach and surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants to explore, although I would recommend a stay elsewhere if your activities aren't near the Kuta/ beach area

AAnonymous UserCheck in was smooth. Staffs were friendly. Hotel is huge, they have 3 blocks. I got the far end of the block which was a little bit away from the reception and the restaurants and the open space for smoking. In 2 circumstances, i walked up to the room and the door card could not work. This happened in 2 different nights. I had to walk down and got it reset, but the staffs didnt bother to apologise for this. The first time it happened I was okay, but the second time it happened, I got pissed off, because it was a long walk from the room to the reception. If you order food delivery, it will be a long walk to take your food at the reception. If you got the rooms at the reception level, I'm sure it will be a great experience like the first time I was there in the Junior Suite, but this time it was not as pleasant. Thumbs up though for the housekeeping, as the found out I had many shirts lying on the sofa, they brought a small clothes rack and hung my shirts.

GGuest UserWe love heritage buildings and vintage style, so these little bungalows were perfect for us. They were a little walk away from the reception (no buggy!) which meant so peaceful and quiet! Gorgeous wooden bedroom and bathroom. The shower is a little outdated and when I first turned it on there was a sulphuric smell which was a bit concerning. Basically, if you like rustic, no frills, no extra service etc then these are a lovely cute experience. However, if you want luxury and are squeamish about old style open homes, this isn't for you. Breakfast was very basic so we generally ate out. The main receptionist was a lovely gentlemen, a very quick registration and we were in! Rooms were clean and nice and dark for a cosy sleep at night.

GGuest UserA very disappointing stay at this hotel. Issues started at check in and continued throughout our stay . Our family booked 5 rooms at the Alam KUL KUL and we all had issues with facilities and getting any action taken to address them . To start we visited the hotel in mid November 2023 to enquire about late checkout when we stayed in February 2024. The hotel reception were very pleasant in November and guaranteed that late checkout was easy and it was a great rate of 550.000 . The reception staff said that they had added the late checkout to our booking. When we arrived in February everything was different. First the reception staff questioned that we had visited in November and that we did not have late checkout added to our booking. They insisted that we name the hotel staff who we had spoken with in November. After much discussion we had the late checkout added but staff were less than friendly. Then they insisted we pay the extra money straight away. We said no problem but then my wife’s wise card wouldn’t work in their payment machine and staff kept insisting that the wrong pin was being entered. My wife had been using the card for the last 7 days in Bali with no issues. So I then gave them my wise card and was surprised when it wouldn’t work in their machine either. I also had been using my card daily in Bali with no issues. After much further discussion with hotel reception they said that we could pay at check out. We had already pre paid for all 5 rooms prior to this. On the day of checkout I received a request to contact reception as they had no records of us asking for late checkout. During several WhatsApp messages from reception they said that we had refused to pay for the late checkout and that we had stated that we would get it free. I was absolutely disappointed to receive these messages and we had never stated anything about free late checkout. The reception staff continued sending messages that were completely false statements. In reflection I think that the staff were trying to cover up the poor service lack of professionalism that they lacked. This were only a few of the small issues that arose during our stay . Our daughter and family had a mouse running around their room and it took staff 3 days to come and look at the room. There was never any offer to change rooms. Another family group had their air conditioning not working and it took 3 days for the hotel to address that issue . My wife ordered drinks during happy hour at the garden pool and when the bill came they wanted to charge full price and their staff stated that my wife had ordered room service! She was locked out of our room at the time because the electronic key kept failing. On 3 separate occasions I asked to speak with the hotel manager to see if we could get better communication and service. Unfortunately the manager was always unavailable, so can only assume that is where the problem starts . Too important or don’t care about hotel guests. Most of the hotels staff were extremely friendly and welcoming especially the restaurant staff. The Alam is a very old property in a very good location. The rooms have been renovated and beds are comfortable. After visiting Bali about 16 times and staying in many different hotels and villas this was our most disappointing stay in Bali. It’s a shame that the small issues kept coming and that the hotel were either trying to cover up or complacent about.

UUin WilliamHonest review. I wasn't impressed by the room. The bathroom was incredible but the room quite average. Maybe I expected too much! So that's why I've still given a great rating. The whole team had great attitude and service. Only downside was that the luggage took a long time to be brought to the waiting boat driver so I would say be more prepared than I was!

Great
JJoshuaRSANew hotel with lots of friendly and eager to assist staff. Their kindness makes you feel welcomed and their readiness to serve you at every moment truly makes it feel like you’re on holiday. The rooms and facilities are clean, beautiful pool and water fountain. Great spa to get a massage at and breakfast was good. Shuttle service that runs to and from Ubud Centre (only selected times, so make sure you know the schedule). Although I gave them a 5/5, the are still things I think that they can improve on. 1. Housekeeping is quite slow, I stayed at the pool one day and had lunch at the restaurant, after 3 hours I returned to my room and it still wasn’t touched by housekeeping. I also waited longer on the day of my check-in to get to my room. Although I arrived early and was patient and understanding to wait until my room was ready at 14:00 I still ended up waiting another 30mins to get to my room. This was a little annoying as they already knew I was waiting a long time and feel like they could’ve somehow speeded up the service. I understand they have their cleaning standards, especially for a new check-in. Maybe they need to employ more housekeepers to fulfil the hotel’s requirements. 2. On the day of my arrival the pool wasn’t open due to bad weather days prior to my check-in, which I totally understand and grateful they tend to the pool so well. I was however offered 20% discount on the Spa, outdoor activities etc. through a paper that was placed on my bed after I got into my room. However this coupon wasn’t explained to me and when I tried to use it two days later for a massage I was told it was only valid for the day the pool was out of service. 3. Breakfast - I understand it’s a smaller hotel and I appreciate any hotel that tries to contribute to the environment by limiting food waste by only serving certain about of dishes, however a better variety would have been appreciated, especially for guests that stays for a couple of nights. With that the buffet breakfast only came with a Balinese Coffee or Tea. This was not explained before booking the room and this information wasn’t given by Trip.com. It does however say the buffet breakfast comes with coffee or tea. But like many many other hotels I’ve stayed at and mentioned that the buffet breakfast comes with coffee or tea it usually means that there is a variety of coffee or teas available. And wanting a cappuccino or iced latte for breakfast would cost you extra. 4. The restaurant, drink usually came not as cold as one would expect it to be. I ordered an ice tea and it was more of a lukewarm tea. The beer they served was also not very cold and quite disappointing especially when it’s so hot and all you want is something ice cold. 5. The hotel entrance is a bit difficult to find, management can think of a better way to showcase the entrance/name of the hotel. Overall I enjoyed the stay, it close enough to walk to Ubud Centre (about 15min walk) If you’re up to it. It’s beautiful, clean and a little peace of paradise. Some services however need more attention to details.

JJolene KongThe hotel is in a good location with food options around the area and close to Kuta beach by car. It has kid-friendly facilities like kids play room and kids pool. The restaurant serves a good buffet breakfast. The feedback I have for the apartment-type room is that it is pretty run down. I originally booked a family room with a double bed and 2 single beds with a nice design. However, they decided to 'upgrade' my room and gave me a 2-bedroom apartment-type family room. I was surprised to find that the quality of the room is not the same as in the photos, which was disappointing. That said, I must say that the facilities and the service were good so no complains there. When we returned after almost 2 weeks to stay for our last night in the hotel, the family room was a nice one, which is the one I originally booked. It was much better than the first room we got. I wished there was no 'upgrade' in the first place. Overall, it was a good experience.

TTravelAuditorNew villa with potential but many shortcomingsSpent 7 days and 6 nights in this villa in April/May 2025. The villa is new, looks fresh, the staff are polite and try to smooth over the negative. However, I encountered issues that require the owner's attention. Without public reviews, the shortcomings will probably remain unchanged, as feedback to the staff rarely reaches the owner. Problems: 1. The air conditioners in the rooms are noisy, disturbing sleep. 2. There is no table, chairs or umbrella by the pool, which is inconvenient for relaxing outside. 3. The doors are without frames, close with difficulty, have gaps that let mosquitoes through and allow you to see what is happening inside. The stoppers are flimsy pieces of wood, some are broken, due to which the doors open the wrong way. 4. On the first day, the drain in the utility room (where the dispenser is) smelled like feces. The staff taped up the drain. A day later, the stench appeared in the showers on the second floor. This indicates errors in the design of the sewerage system: the shower drains are probably connected to the septic tank, like toilets, which is unacceptable. The stench appears from evening until morning every day. 5. In one bathroom on the second floor, the threshold is low and the floor is sloped not toward the drain, but toward the threshold. During a long shower, water flows out into the hallway, and over time it can drip onto the first floor. 6. On the first floor, thin curtains do not hide what is happening on the second floor of the neighboring house from the neighbors. 7. Wi-Fi works fine on the second floor, but on the first floor the signal is weak, often disappears, connection is difficult. 8. There are no hangers in the bathrooms, the employees put towels on the toilet lid, which is unhygienic. 9. There is construction under the windows, in the mornings there is noise from equipment and an old car with loud exhausts, the driver of which revs the engine for a long time. 10. Bottled water was not supplied for several days due to problems with the supplier. There are no toothbrushes in the bathroom, although everything else is in abundance. 11. On the sixth day, noisy neighbors checked in, yelling in the yard until late and preventing sleep. Their children were noisy early in the morning. Upon check-in, they do not instruct about the need to remain quiet after 20:00. 12. The water in the pool (25-26 ° C) is colder than the sea (30-32 ° C). Changing the water twice a day is a plus, but the noise of running water for hours can irritate those who like silence, and therefore once a day would be enough. Conclusion: If the business owner fixes the shortcomings, the villa can become a great place to relax. Otherwise, negative reviews and obsolescence (the villa is new, August 2024) will scare off tourists, especially for long-term stays. It is difficult to recommend at the moment, but the future depends on eliminating the problems.

ZZaruhi BadalyanOur stay at The Sebali Hotel in Bali was truly exceptional ,memorable and unforgettable🤩🥰 We me and my friend had an unforgettable experience at The Sebali Hotel in Nusa Penida. I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had💖. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. We were impressed by the excellent service and the kind, helpful, and friendly staff 🤗 . They went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Every staff member, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. The team went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, providing personalized recommendations for local attractions and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would like to mention our friends Suwendri, Agus Pragusa and Ira 😉 …. The hotel itself is a beautiful . The location of the hotel was also ideal. Set away from the hustle and bustle, is ideal for anyone looking for a quiet retreat while still being close enough to explore the island’s top key attractions. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and we couldn’t get enough of the yummy food. Dining at The Sebali Hotel was also a delight. With a wide variety of both local and international dishes, all freshly prepared with top-quality ingredients. The breakfast spread was especially impressive, with a wide range of options to suit any taste. One particular and heartwarming moment that touched us was when we had to miss breakfast due to an early day trip .Without hesitation, the staff prepared a thoughtful and delicious takeaway breakfast for us. It was not only delicious but also showed their incredible attention to detail and care for their guests. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with a stunning aesthetic that made it feel like a luxurious retreat. It was a perfect blend of modern comfort and traditional Balinese style. The attention to detail is stunning – from the luxurious linens to the beautiful décor. The private balconies with breathtaking views of the lush surroundings and the peaceful ambiance made it hard to leave! The pool area is absolutely gorgeous, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. We loved having direct pool access right from our room — it made the whole experience even more special. Overall, our experience at TheSebali Hotel was beyond exceptional and we prolonged our stay there for 2 days 🥹. So I highly recommend The Sebali Penida to anyone visiting Nusa Penida. If you’re looking for a luxurious yet tranquil escape in Bali, this is the place to be. The combination of excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and luxurious accommodations makes it an ideal place to stay. I’ll definitely be returning! I can’t wait to come back! 🥰
