CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!

GGuest UserAt first, I thought it was a bit far but once I started to explore, I appreciate the location as it is set away from the crowd but very walkable. About 10 mins walk to the LV iconic ship one way, 10mins walk or thereabouts to West Nanjing Rd Butterfly Cremarous in another direction and if you head off in another direction, about 15mins to IAPM mall.
The service was great. The girls were helpful with our Taobao packages and also when I wanted to order food delivery.
Self washing machine and dryer were easy enough to use.
Cleaners really kept the room tidy.
Some construction when we were around end of May 2026 but not too bad. As with most places in China, you will have random smokers inside but our room did not smell of smoke so that's a RELIEF! Another minor negative was the bathrobe was in tatters but that was only the 1st day out of 4 nights stay Also at times, food delivery person could deliver to your room even though you need card access. Worth nothing though I haven't felt unsafe.
I actually like the room layout, felt spacious and also probably the only hotel where I have watched so many movies.

KKawaii VritzI had such a wonderful stay at this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for.
The complimentary airport transfer and free Disney shuttle made our trip so convenient and stress-free. Our themed room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and made our stay even more memorable.
A special thank you to the incredibly kind staff who surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. Their warmth and hospitality truly made us feel valued.
The hotel also provides so many thoughtful amenities for families with children, including anti-slip bathroom slippers for both adults and kids, plenty of hangers, numerous power outlets, complimentary bottled water, and a lovely swimming pool.
Every little detail reflected how much the hotel cares about its guests' comfort. We left with wonderful memories and would definitely love to stay here again!

GGuest UserTerrible. Will not stay again. The check-in SOP was unclear, forcing guests to ask multiple questions, even for basic information like breakfast times and location. The room smelled of smoke, possibly due to old or poorly maintained air conditioning. The front desk staff denied there was a smoke smell and only after repeated requests did they show me other rooms, about half of which also smelled of smoke. Their service attitude was both arrogant and perfunctory. The operational procedures were also a mess; for example, after checking in, I found the room didn't even have a kettle and called to request one. Ten minutes later, housekeeping knocked on the door, saying they needed to replace the in-room magazine. It was bizarre to replace a monthly magazine after check-in. The kettle that was eventually delivered was wet inside and out, with a strong disinfectant smell inside. The ice bucket in the room also had water and already smelled foul when opened. The hotel management is riddled with loopholes everywhere; quality is in the details. The hard furnishings like the toilet and bathtub in the room were old, the shower handle was broken, and the water pressure was worse than a 3 or 4-star hotel. The linens were average. However, the bedding and mattress were good.

Even during peak check-in time, they were patient, thorough, and efficiently verified my information, completing the process in just a few minutes. They smiled throughout, and proactively informed me about elevator locations and breakfast hours.
Before my trip, I asked about local attractions and parking, and the staff thoughtfully planned routes for me, even adding helpful travel tips. When I had a last-minute room change request, they quickly accommodated it without any hesitation or perfunctory service. Their service attitude was gentle and polite, demonstrating professionalism in every action, with thoughtful touches evident in every detail.
The guest rooms were clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were well-stocked, with thorough housekeeping. Breakfast offered a rich variety of options, with a good balance of meat and vegetables. The entire hotel environment was quiet, and its excellent location made it convenient for getting around and finding food.
With excellent facilities coupled with attentive front desk service, this hotel offers incredible value for money. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip and will recommend it to friends who need accommodation! 😄

GGuest UserThis time, I brought my child to stay in the Green Sprout Space Slide Room, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. It's definitely a treasure trove for parents with kids, completely freeing up adults while the little ones have a blast the whole time!
The room has a soothing space theme overall, decorated with a playful, childlike feel and full of atmosphere. As soon as we opened the door, my child's eyes lit up, and they immediately dove into play mode. The most outstanding features of the room are the private slide and ball pit. The slide's slope is incredibly well-designed, smooth with no snagging, and it's fully padded with soft materials and rounded edges, ensuring maximum safety. I didn't have to worry at all about my child getting hurt, which was a huge relief for me as a parent.
The colorful ball pit balls were clean, fluffy, and plentiful. Combined with the fun slide, they created an exclusive indoor playground. My child repeatedly climbed up and slid down, playing freely and joyfully in the ball pit, full of energy and constant laughter. Throughout our stay, I didn't need to entertain or coax my child at all; they played happily by themselves, completely avoiding boredom or tantrums, making it a truly relaxing experience for parents.
Beyond the thoughtful play facilities, the room's hygiene was also a big plus. The entire room was clean and tidy, with no dust in any corners. The slide and ball pit were also perfectly maintained and odor-free, showing great attention to detail. The room itself was spacious and airy with a logical layout; the play area and rest area were clearly separated and didn't interfere with each other. Adults could relax while children played without disturbance, balancing both fun and comfort.
The staff service was also exceptionally gentle and attentive, responding promptly and with patience, showing thoughtfulness in every detail. This stay was very comfortable; it's a high-value, highly entertaining, and super safe family room that perfectly meets the needs of traveling with children. The value for money is outstanding, and it's already on my top list for family trips. I will definitely choose this place again for future outings with my child, and I highly recommend it to all parents traveling with kids!

During our chat, they meticulously explained the history and signature dishes of various restaurants, offering unique dining tips for everything from the three-tiered afternoon tea at Peacock Alley to the Western cuisine at Pelham's open kitchen, and even the retro long bar at The Long Bar. Their thoughtfulness extended to every small detail, and the farewell gift at check-out felt incredibly ceremonial. This genuine sincerity made our Bund trip truly complete, and we will definitely return.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse absolutely deserves a full five-star rating! The location is truly unbeatable, right next to Plaza 66, and just a few minutes' walk from Lai Lai Xiaolong Bao and the LV Ferris wheel. It's incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring.
The host was incredibly thoughtful; they knew we arrived early and proactively offered an early check-in. They were genuinely concerned about our experience throughout our stay and responded instantly to any questions we had, making us feel completely at ease, like friends. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The old house vibe, offering peace and quiet amidst the city bustle, was also very comfortable. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Shanghai!

TThe Lonely TravellerMight I say, our entire stay at the W was marvelous from beginning to end. Upon arrival, we were greeted and helped with our luggage straight yo our room. The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly. She even offered to upgrade us to a room with a better view seeing that we were celebrating and visiting Shanghai for the first time. Each staff seemed to acknowledge our existence all throughout the hotel. This made us feel like extremely important people.
Our room was absolutely stunning and oh my was the view ever so perfect. Room service was excellent. Their burger was probably the most delicious. We visited amd stayed in many hotels around China and this one definitely left some beautiful memories.
We would highly recommend staying here if ever visiting Shanghai. Every penny spent was worth it.
