CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed. Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free. The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all. Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!

GGuest UserAt first, I thought it was a bit far but once I started to explore, I appreciate the location as it is set away from the crowd but very walkable. About 10 mins walk to the LV iconic ship one way, 10mins walk or thereabouts to West Nanjing Rd Butterfly Cremarous in another direction and if you head off in another direction, about 15mins to IAPM mall. The service was great. The girls were helpful with our Taobao packages and also when I wanted to order food delivery. Self washing machine and dryer were easy enough to use. Cleaners really kept the room tidy. Some construction when we were around end of May 2026 but not too bad. As with most places in China, you will have random smokers inside but our room did not smell of smoke so that's a RELIEF! Another minor negative was the bathrobe was in tatters but that was only the 1st day out of 4 nights stay Also at times, food delivery person could deliver to your room even though you need card access. Worth nothing though I haven't felt unsafe. I actually like the room layout, felt spacious and also probably the only hotel where I have watched so many movies.

The suite offered a stunning, expansive view directly overlooking the beautiful Bund, creating a fantastic ambiance. The hotel's service was meticulous and attentive, the facilities were top-notch, and the environment was serene and elegant. During the holiday season, I even received some delightful complimentary treats. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic – truly a benchmark in luxury.

The guest rooms were clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were well-stocked, with thorough housekeeping. AAnonymous UserChoosing the Waldorf Astoria on the Bund in Shanghai was definitely the right decision! The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the Bund. You step out of the hotel and you're right by the river, and it's also super convenient to walk to Nanjing Road. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the century-old building is incredibly beautiful, a perfect blend of vintage and luxury. The room experience was fantastic! I especially want to commend our dedicated concierges, Emily and Echole. Their warm, attentive, professional, and gentle service made us feel incredibly comfortable.

The location is truly unbeatable, right next to Plaza 66, and just a few minutes' walk from Lai Lai Xiaolong Bao and the LV Ferris wheel. It's incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring. The host was incredibly thoughtful; they knew we arrived early and proactively offered an early check-in. They were genuinely concerned about our experience throughout our stay and responded instantly to any questions we had, making us feel completely at ease, like friends. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The old house vibe, offering peace and quiet amidst the city bustle, was also very comfortable. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Shanghai!

TThe Lonely TravellerMight I say, our entire stay at the W was marvelous from beginning to end. Upon arrival, we were greeted and helped with our luggage straight yo our room. The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly. She even offered to upgrade us to a room with a better view seeing that we were celebrating and visiting Shanghai for the first time. Each staff seemed to acknowledge our existence all throughout the hotel. This made us feel like extremely important people. Our room was absolutely stunning and oh my was the view ever so perfect. Room service was excellent. Their burger was probably the most delicious. We visited amd stayed in many hotels around China and this one definitely left some beautiful memories. We would highly recommend staying here if ever visiting Shanghai. Every penny spent was worth it.

SShenzaiyiguo꧂This hotel is right next to Shanghai Railway Station, which is super convenient if you're traveling to other cities by train. The subway station is also close by. While it's not right on the main street, there are signs that make it easy to find. Just a heads up, there aren't any restaurants or shops directly downstairs; you'll have to walk a few hundred meters for the nearest ones. So if you're someone who wants food right outside your door, keep that in mind. The front desk service was excellent. Our room wasn't quite ready when we checked in, but they offered us a glass of water each while we waited, and check-out was really quick. The room itself was spotless, and I barely saw any hairs on the bedding. All the amenities you'd expect were there. The duplex suite is perfect for families, offering plenty of privacy upstairs, and you can still watch TV with everyone downstairs. The only minor drawback was that the room felt a bit dark due to a building opposite blocking the light. Overall, it's a great value-for-money hotel, suitable for both longer stays for tourists or just a quick overnight stop if you're catching a train.
