Hotels in Hengshan Road Area, Shanghai

The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite Wukang Mansion, and not too far from the subway station, making it very convenient for getting around. The room isn't huge, but it has everything you need: a fridge, washing machine, range hood, and induction cooker. It's also very clean, with daily housekeeping. There are many popular spots to check out nearby; I'll definitely explore them more thoroughly next time. My only suggestion would be to replace the film on the bathroom window or door with a blackout one for better privacy.

It was my birthday, and the front desk lady surprised me with a birthday cake. They also quietly upgraded me to a suite, which was a lovely surprise! When we arrived, there was staff directing us where to drive. After parking, a shuttle took us from the parking lot to the hotel lobby entrance. Someone also personally brought our luggage to the room. The room was very clean and quiet, with the bedroom, living room, and bathroom all separated. I particularly liked the toilet design; it was placed behind the door, which is great for privacy if two people are in a hurry – one can get ready while the other uses the toilet. The door also separates the wet area from the main resting area. Welcome fruit: The fruit was fresh and delicious. My friend ate all the grapes before I even got a chance, haha. Hotel photoshoot: It was beautiful! The photographer guided our poses, and the selection assistant gave very professional advice. When I was little, I used to take a set of photos every birthday to remember the occasion, but I stopped once phones could take pictures. It was a wonderful way to commemorate my birthday this year~ Room service offers wontons and special drinks, which are delivered to your room – very convenient. I didn't get a chance to use the gym or pool, but they looked well-equipped. The hotel courtyard views are also exceptionally beautiful~ It's very close to Wukang Road, so it's convenient to go out and explore.

My husband and I had a 9-night stay at this apartment and we are very happy with our choice. The place itself was very cosy, we loved the views and the washer/dryer machine worked perfectly. The location was one of our favourite features, with the best cafes and bakeries at under 5 minutes walking distance. Room cleaning was done under request, on the same day and we were never missing anything. We would stay at this apartment again if we revisit Shanghai!

Place was great! In what seems like a residential building. Location was great, about a 10 min walk in both directions to 2 different metro stops, so many cute shops, cafes, and restaurants. Apartment itself was great, clean and spacious, had a lift which was super helpful with suitcases and such. Only thing to note - if you do any online ordering or need a specific address for packages, definitely copy one of the addresses off the packages that are already there, as the address given is a little off which caused some issues for us when trying to order from taobao. Overall, would definitely book again!

The environment is pretty good. It's my first time staying in a hotel room with two floors. Downstairs, it's easy to find places to eat. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the subway station. Recommended! 👍🏻

This was my second stay, and I've successfully recommended it to my friends too. The hotel has its own garden and is housed in a building from the last century. Despite its age, the hygiene is excellent. The only downside was the showerhead. It's very quiet and super close to Hengshan Road Metro Station. There are several restaurants and cafes nearby, so you could easily spend a leisurely day just exploring the vicinity. All in all, I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai.

This stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is easy to find, and public transportation nearby is convenient. The room was meticulously cleaned, with no unpleasant odors, and both the lighting and soundproofing were excellent. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive, responding promptly to requests and patiently helping resolve minor issues. Their hospitality was truly warm. Overall, the value for money is great, making for a safe and comfortable stay. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll prioritize staying here again for future trips.

I brought my child to see the Teens in Times concert, and this hotel is very close to Shanghai Stadium. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, offering tea and cooling patches to help with the heat. We were also pleasantly surprised to find Teens in Times merchandise in our room! The room was clean and comfortable. We had a great stay.

Its a rather basic hotel but comfortable with sufficient amenities. Our room wasnt big but came with a spacious balcony, which was the 'garden' stated in the room category. The location is ideal for exploring the French Concession area and very near to cafes and eateries, esp, on Yong Kang Road. Also walkable to Tianzifang. The staff are friendly and helpful. I wd recommend if u want to have a more local feel of Shanghai.

The location is good, the accommodation has everything you need for life. One downside was that communication during check-in was slow at first, but afterward all our questions were answered in detail. During our stay, the shower door exploded, which resulted in injuries, after that we were relocated to another apartment and the hosts covered the medical expenses. They responded quickly the next day and even offered to go to the hospital with us, but we had already been there. I don't know how many stars to give this experience, it was a bit scary, because it was not clear how to communicate with the ambulance in Chinese and none of the managers responded at the time it happened. However, overall the place was nice, and the second apartment even had a projector :)
