My husband and I had a 9-night stay at this apartment and we are very happy with our choice. The place itself was very cosy, we loved the views and the washer/dryer machine worked perfectly. The location was one of our favourite features, with the best cafes and bakeries at under 5 minutes walking distance. Room cleaning was done under request, on the same day and we were never missing anything. We would stay at this apartment again if we revisit Shanghai!

1. Although there was parking closer to the lobby, the security guard at the entrance directed me to park in the opposite direction. He even asked if it was my first time staying there, and when I said yes and mentioned I had luggage, he didn't inform me about any shuttle service, especially on such a hot day. 2. There were staff members at the lobby entrance who enthusiastically helped me with my luggage all the way to my room. However, their professionalism was lacking. When I asked about the gym's location and whether it was free for guests, I was told guests had to pay. When I inquired about the price, they said they didn't know and told me to call the front desk. After calling the front desk, I was informed that gym access is indeed free for hotel guests. 3. The bottled water provided by the hotel tasted terrible. 4. The cleanliness was subpar. On the day of check-in, I found the bench at the foot of the bed to be very dirty, with small items left by previous guests. It remained dirty throughout my three-night stay. 5. The hotel gym is large and bright. It's pleasant to walk around the hotel grounds, and there are many lawn wedding setups. Other than that, the service and hygiene definitely need improvement.

This hotel is truly excellent. Firstly, it's very close to Wukang Building, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and taking photos in the area. You can even get a great view of Wukang Building from the hotel rooftop! The location is absolutely superb. Secondly, the hotel's in-room amenities are complete, including a refrigerator, washing machine, and smart toilet. The interior decoration is new and very comfortable. All in all, it offers fantastic value for money.

This Manju Inn boasts an excellent location on Baoqing Road, just a few minutes' walk from Wukang Mansion and the Shanghai Arts and Crafts Museum (the 'Little White Palace'). It's incredibly convenient for exploring the Hengfu Historical Area and is perfect for those who want to stroll around old villas. Opened in 2026, the hotel rooms are brand new, and the hygiene is top-notch. The twin beds are spacious, and the bedding is soft, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. There's a laundry room in the common area, which is very convenient for travelers to wash clothes, and the front desk offers free luggage storage. Throughout the building, it's smoke-free with no unpleasant odors, and the WiFi is fast and reliable. Downstairs, there are plenty of noodle shops and snack bars along the street, offering a wide variety of dining options. Overall, it's quiet and comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Xuhui.

The name Guisu Homestay truly lives up to its reputation! Nestled in the Wutong tree-lined streets of Yueyang Road, the location is superb, offering a fantastic atmosphere for leisurely strolls. The interior is clean and refreshing, and the environment is quiet and elegant. The butler service is attentive, with smooth communication throughout our stay. It's a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city, allowing us to fully experience the charm of old Shanghai. Our stay was absolutely perfect, highly recommended!

I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The front desk staff were efficient and polite during check-in. The room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust in the corners, and the mattress was just the right firmness, making for a very relaxing sleep. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, so I wasn't disturbed at night. It's very convenient for getting around, dining, and shopping downstairs. The common areas were clean and tidy, and the check-out process was simple and smooth. This will be my first choice for accommodation when traveling; I highly recommend it to everyone.

The room was a bit small, but the location was great and the environment was decent. There were a few roads nearby, though I forgot their names. If you're not in a hurry, you can take your time exploring the area. It's about a ten-minute bike ride to the Wukang Building. We came in winter, and the wind wasn't too cold when we cycled back at night. The streetlights were warm, and the streets were beautiful. The bike ride to the Wukang Building in the morning was also very pleasant, with plane trees lining both sides of the road. I imagine it will be even more beautiful in autumn.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, offering a tranquil retreat amidst a lively area, making it very convenient for concert-goers. The rooms are clean and fresh, equipped with comprehensive smart amenities for a comfortable and convenient stay. The staff are professional and attentive; any issues we raised were promptly and properly addressed. Overall, it was a great experience.

Nice spacious place to stay. Was a comfy bed as well. Only issue I would say is that it feels very damp in the accomodation. Bathroom doesn’t seem to have great ventilation, combined with the dryer it makes the place quite damp, smell and feel wise. Was fine when we had warm days but wouldn’t be great if it’s cold.

Honestly, I don’t understand the negative reviews at all. My experience was excellent from beginning to end. I arrived in the middle of the night, and the 24-hour reception made check-in incredibly easy. The staff was always kind and helpful whenever I needed anything. The room was spotless. Everything was clean, organized, and exactly as it should be. The lighting was great, everything worked perfectly, and the whole hotel felt very well maintained. I had zero issues during my stay. Everything I needed was provided, and the experience was smooth from start to finish. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. If you’re hesitating because of some of the reviews, don’t let them stop you. This was one of the easiest, most stress-free hotel stays I’ve had.
