The room is big and clean because the hotel is new and just opened last Sept. The service is very good and the staff is helpful and polite. Will come back again for sure.
As a business traveller, when I go to a hotel, I crave familiarity, as there are often enough surprises at work. At the Radisson Xing Guo, I had high expectations, check-in process was smooth and the room was nice. However, when I came back after work, the dirty cups were still inside my room and when I called down to front desk, they sent replacement glasses from room service without any spoons after a long wait. On my second day returning from work, there was only half the normal nunber of bottles of water. The continuous little errors were unfortuante as I never knew what else would go wrong. Hotel overall was nice, and should definitely spend more time training room servicing staff.

Newly built hotel with wabi sabi aesthetic. Got a free upgrade upon check in and everything was perfect. Rooms were clean, spacious and service was flawless. It’s cool that you can order delivery and a robot brings it to your room. On top of that there’s a laundry room equipped with everything you need to do your laundry. Thank you for 昔梦 for making my stay seamless and enjoyable!

Exceeded expectations. The view room on the 18th floor has a wide view. It is also an old hotel. The decoration is newer than Jianguo Hotel. It is the first time to look down at Xingguo Hotel from the air. The standard room is less than 500 during the May Day holiday. It is very convenient to walk around Hunan Road and Wukang Road.
When I came to Shanghai, I chose two luxury hotels. Yesterday I stayed at the K Hotel in Shanghai Center, which was very modern. Today I moved to Capella Jianyeli, which is in the old Shanghai Shikumen style. The hotel environment is elegant and quiet, luxurious and low-key. The room is a three-story villa (including the tea room, bathroom, and rooftop balcony, a total of five floors. There is also a small courtyard on the first floor. The Chinese furniture in the house is exquisitely designed everywhere. All kinds of supplies are complete and comfortable. The hotel's library is open 24 hours a day, with snacks, drinks, and afternoon tea. There are not many varieties, but it is exquisite. There are also cocktails delivered at night. Breakfast is in the hotel's own Michelin French restaurant, which is made to order and the dishes are exquisite. This stay was a perfect experience.
The room is large and spacious. The electric curtains and smart toilet are very modern. There is also a coffee machine in the room. The two lockers are particularly large and can hold several pieces of luggage. The bedding and toiletries are very good. Breakfast was at the KFC downstairs. The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of many celebrity residences and check-in spots. It is about half an hour’s taxi ride from Shanghai Station and Hongqiao Station, and about 15 minutes’ walk from the subway. The restaurant in the hotel has business set menu and mushroom chicken set menu, which is very convenient. The downside is that the toilet cannot be flushed cleanly in one flush and there is water leakage under the wash basin. During the stay, I wanted to add a quilt and was initially told to pay 250 yuan. Later, after asking for instructions, they asked for 100 yuan for cleaning fee but ultimately did not add any. The service attitude is very good and we checked in early. The public space of the hotel is very large, there are few people and it is quiet in a busy place.
I recently stayed at Blackstone M+ Hotel in Shanghai, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations.
While I genuinely appreciate the hotel's intriguing and thoughtfully designed interiors, I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness standards and the quality of in-room amenities.
Upon checking in, we discovered a large, unused sickness bag left behind the sofa — a clear oversight by the housekeeping team. What was even more surprising was that despite staying for two nights and having daily housekeeping, the sickness bag remained untouched throughout our stay.
The overall cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. Thick layers of dust were clearly visible across various surfaces, especially on the lighting fixtures and decorative ornaments, which suggested a lack of attention to detail in the room's upkeep.
Although the hotel does provide a Dyson hairdryer, which is a thoughtful touch, it was disappointing to find the unit's filter in the state of dusty and evidently not properly cleaned, diminishing its functionality. Additionally, the generic toiletries provided felt rather underwhelming, especially when compared to the hotel’s above-average room rates.
For a hotel that positions itself with such stylish design, I believe greater emphasis on housekeeping and guest comfort would truly elevate the experience.

The hotel is pretty good. Except for the small room, everything else is very satisfactory. It is OK for singles or couples, but it is not recommended for families with children. The room is very compact and the sound insulation is not very good. The service is very good. The reception attitude of the hotel is very satisfactory. The overall experience is OK

The stay experience was really amazing. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was cured by the fragrance. The front desk was very efficient. The hotel was newly renovated. The facilities and equipment were very good. The room was cleaned super clean. Sleeping at night was super quiet. The bed was very comfortable. I slept until dawn. The room also prepared small snacks. There are souvenirs when you leave the store. Next time you come to live here, you must give Amway to your friends!

GGuest UserThe front desk people are super nice! Not only did he have a good attitude, but when there were no other guests checking in, he also took the initiative to introduce travel options and nearby check-in spots. The location is very convenient to various places. There are convenience stores nearby and the prices are affordable.
GGuest UserI booked at Soho Garden Villa because I was traveling with my dog and needed a place to have a day of rest in Shanghai before continuing our trip. Booking for an additional dog was extremely easy, and the staff at the hotel were all extremely kind and helpful despite our language barrier. I am very grateful!!
In terms of space, the room I had was quite basic (small) size-wise and it would be a squeeze for more than 2 nights. If I had been staying for other reasons I might have asked for a view. That said, what existed what quite comfortable and very functional. The fruit and snacks were a nice additional touch. (I would just suggest that the refrigerator be colder.) The location is excellent, especially for exploring the French Concession area and generally walking around. Especially true if you have a dog (or any travel companion who enjoys a walk!).
LLaoKangGood choice for a staycation . Breakfast is rich although the quality of the food is not amazing. The very large windows of the room with garden view are not giving you an impression of privacy . Is it a mirror from outside?
GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy.
Hygienic: Hygienic supplies are complete.
Facilities: The shower washed a person and waited for more than 10 minutes. The temperature was screwed to the hottest, and there was no hot water. I took a cold shower and washed my feet. The air conditioner was turned on and the warm air was turned on, and the socks were hung on the heights and did not dry all night. The wet shoes were not dry all night.
GGuest UserThe room is tidy and clean, the front desk staff is also very good, near the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, the surrounding Shanghai-style buildings 🏠 are also very beautiful.
GGuest UserThis is my first time experiencing a Shanghai alley homestay. It is clean and tidy, with complete facilities, including washing machine, refrigerator, microwave oven, and air conditioner. All the details reflect the owner's care. It is worth recommending.
GGuest UserI booked a hotel on the spur of the moment while visiting Huaihai Road. The room was not big but clean and tidy. It was very affordable to stay in such a room at this price during holidays. There was also a smart toilet and it was not far from the subway station, so it was convenient for travel.
GGuest UserThe room is clean and tidy. The owner's care is hidden in the details. The service is considerate but not intrusive. It feels like living in a home that has been carefully decorated by a friend. The environment, facilities and services are impeccable! Not only was the stay comfortable, but I also felt very warm. I will definitely choose this place again next time I come!
