We had such an amazing experience at this Disney hotel, and I truly feel like this property deserves every bit of praise. My husband, our 6 kids, and I traveled all the way from Orlando, Florida in America, and after such a big trip, staying somewhere this welcoming, clean, and well-run meant so much to us. From the moment we arrived, the staff made such a strong impression on me. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, patient, and genuinely helpful. It did not feel fake or forced at all, it felt like they truly cared about making sure our stay was comfortable and special. One thing I really want to mention is that even with us traveling from America, the language barrier was honestly not hard at all when dealing with the staff. That was something I truly appreciated. Everyone was so kind, so patient, and so willing to help that communication never felt stressful. They made everything feel easy and comfortable, and that meant a lot, especially traveling with a big family and small children. No matter what we needed, they did their best to help us understand and made sure we felt taken care of. That level of effort, patience, and kindness goes a very long way, and they really made us feel welcome. The staff went above and beyond in so many little ways, and those things really added up. Any time I had a question, needed help, or wasn’t sure about something, someone was there with a smile, ready to help without hesitation. That kind of service stands out, especially when you are traveling with family, and it made such a huge difference for us. They were not just “nice” .They were the kind of staff that makes you stop and think, wow, these people really care. You can feel when people are just doing a job, and you can also feel when people are truly making an effort to give guests a great experience. This staff absolutely did that. Now let me talk about the cleanliness, because honestly this is one of the cleanest hotel properties and rooms I have ever seen in my life. I do not say that lightly. The moment we walked in, everything looked absolutely spotless. Not just tidy, not just “good enough,” but truly immaculate. The room looked fresh, polished, and cared for in a way that is hard to explain unless you see it for yourself. Every surface looked pristine. The floors were clean, the bathroom was shining, the bedding felt fresh and perfectly maintained, and the entire room gave that rare feeling of being deeply, properly cleaned. There was not that uneasy hotel feeling some places have where you start wondering what has or has not really been cleaned. This place felt the complete opposite. It felt sanitized, refreshed, and cared for to the highest standard. The room was so clean that it immediately made us feel comfortable enough to fully relax. When you are staying with children, cleanliness matters even more, and this hotel absolutely exceeded expectations. I noticed the details, and the details matter. The bathroom was spotless, the beds looked crisp and fresh, the furniture was clean, the floors looked amazing, and the whole room felt like it had been cleaned with real care and pride. Even beyond the room itself, the entire property was unbelievably clean. That is what impressed me so much. Usually a hotel might have a nice room, but the hallways, common areas, elevators, or grounds do not always match that same level of care. Here, the cleanliness was consistent everywhere. The entire property was beautifully maintained, and you could clearly tell that cleanliness is taken seriously at every level. Everything looked so well-kept, so polished, and so intentionally maintained that it honestly made the whole stay feel even more luxurious and relaxing. It is such a good feeling to be able to fully settle in and enjoy your stay without noticing dirt, neglect, or things being overlooked. This hotel gave us that peace of mind completely. During my recent trip to Shanghai, I stayed at the Bellagio, the Waldorf Astoria on the Bund, and the St. Regis Jingan, and the Bellagio was by far my favorite. 1. I was completely won over by the hotel slippers and the minibar. The slippers have a non-slip sole and are very comfortable. The minibar is exquisitely arranged with sophisticated and beautiful glassware—it's an absolute feast for the eyes. 2. The front desk informed me that the minibar drinks are complimentary upon signing up as a hotel member. This is a very generous policy, especially since the other two hotels charged for them. 3. I was traveling with my 6-year-old child and should have paid for a children's breakfast. We also had a 21-yuan snack in the room, and I truthfully reported all of this at checkout. To my surprise, my full deposit was refunded without any extra charges. Thank you so much! 4. The room was spacious and very comfortable, featuring high-end amenities and a great bathtub. 5. The location is excellent. Although many people mind that it doesn't offer a direct view of the river, the Garden Bridge of Shanghai (Waibaidu Bridge) is just a few minutes' walk away, making it very convenient for a stroll along the riverfront. Summary: The Bellagio truly makes you feel at home. It's clear that they genuinely care about their service, rather than just chasing good reviews. Furthermore, none of the staff ever pressured me to leave a positive review.

One of the best hotels that we have stayed. Beautiful rooms with the most beautiful views. Wonderful service by all the staff from the front office, to the bellman and even the cleaners are super nice. We were travelling with my disabled brother and they made sure we were comfortable. We were offered an upgrade to the horizon club room for a great price which was definitely worth it as the rooms had nicer views and comes with breakfast (with halal options), afternoon tea and also evening refreshments. They also arranged for our kids birthday in the room! Special thanks to Elaine at the front office for arranging late checkout for us since our flight is late at night, as well as Kenny at the horizon club for attending to us and ensuring we had a smooth check out. If we ever come to Shanghai again, we definitely will stay here. ❤️❤️❤️

Having grown up in Shanghai, I have a special affection for the Huangpu River and Suzhou Creek. This time, I took advantage of a Ctrip offer to book a room during the National Day holiday. The hotel's exterior looks quite ordinary, and the lobby is compact. However, the front desk staff were exceptionally warm, polite, and attentive. Although my room wasn't on a high floor, it still fulfilled my wish: from the bay window, I could see the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Pudong 'Three-Piece Suit' (iconic skyscrapers), and parts of the Huangpu River. To the left was Suzhou Creek. Watching the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Huangpu River night view in the evening was truly a wonderful experience.

Rating: 5/5 This was my second stay at the Waldorf Astoria, and I must say the experience was excellent. From the elegant Morandi-inspired color palette to the spacious 2-meter bed, everything in the room was impressive and incredibly relaxing. The staff were all very polite! I think next time I visit Shanghai, I will continue to choose the Waldorf Astoria. Also! During this stay at the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund, I'd like to extend a special thanks to our dedicated concierge, Aaron Echole. He proactively added me on WeChat on the night of check-in, which made communication seamless afterward. When I requested a late check-out at the last minute, the concierge immediately helped coordinate and implement it, making the entire process efficient and smooth. I didn't have to go back and forth to the front desk for inquiries. The communication was easy and thoughtful, and responses were quick. You could feel the dedication in the details. Such flexible and considerate service made my trip much more relaxed and significantly enhanced this stay.

The B&B is very comfortable. The decoration style seems simple but is very clean and tidy. I like the minimalist style very much. It has a mahjong table, a singing room, and a projector. It's a pity that I came late and didn't get to play. I'll try it next time. Two 1.5-meter large beds are put together so that children can roll around as much as they want~ The kitchen downstairs has a pot and an oven. The boss cooked corn for the children in the morning. He ate breakfast and looked at the rice fields outside the window. He was in a great mood. It only took 9 minutes to take a taxi to Haichang. It was very convenient and a very pleasant stay.

First off, the room decor is absolutely stunning, as it always is at W hotels. I've stayed at Ws in Xi'an, Macau, and Chengdu, and now Shanghai – their design aesthetic is consistently modern and really resonates with us Gen Z. The room layout and attention to detail are spot-on. They never disappoint when it comes to style. Secondly, I won't go into too much detail about cleanliness; W hotels consistently maintain high standards, so no issues there. Thirdly, the service was excellent. Any request I had was promptly considered and accommodated by the hotel. You feel the exceptional service from the moment you step into the hotel. Staff members are present from the luggage drop-off all the way to the elevator lobby, waiting to assist. Furthermore, the dining experience was fantastic. The breakfast at every W I've visited has been superb, truly top-notch. Finally, since it was our first time at the Shanghai W, the front desk even upgraded our room! I was pleasantly surprised to find myself in a 'Marvelous Suite'. The whole experience was absolutely brilliant. The only minor drawback was that the drinks and room setup included in the Ctrip package weren't prepared in advance, even though I had called a day earlier. If those details could also be taken care of beforehand, so you walk into a fully prepared room, then this would truly be a 10/10 experience.

We checked in on the evening of October 3rd. It was a bit cold and rainy after getting off the subway. When we arrived at the hotel, front desk staff members #11 and #19 warmly introduced us to local attractions and even provided free breakfast vouchers. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The housekeeping staff was very polite. I'm also very grateful to the front desk staff today for allowing a late check-out, which let my daughter rest well before heading to the airport. We will definitely stay here again next time!

Our stay has been a pleasure. The room is well furnished with all the essentials needed for an holidays of more than one day (fridge, washing machine and dryer). The beds are very soft and there is enough room for luggages. Our room is located in the French concession quarter, an interesting area with a lot of nice restaurants for all the budgets, convenience store and coffee. The service is very kind and helpful: the host has created a weChat group for us, with all the staff to answer our needs, and they provided us all the information days before the checking, ensuring that everything was clear. They bought us also water bottles for our stay. Few negative points to be discussed: the road in which our room (named Rome or ”Luoma”) is located is in a secondary street, unfortunately full of poor maintained house. When we saw the main entrance of the building we thought we were being scammed, since it was a mess with mold and falling paints from the wall, garbage and boxes. Fortunately the room is completely different! Another negative point are the windows that are super thin. Even if closed, you can hear everything from the road (the last night the neighbour were arguing for more than 1 hour and we could hear everything. It was like they were with us in the room!). The curtains are ok for the privacy, but not for the light: at 5 am the light of the sun was so strong that we needed to use eye masks to be able to sleep a little more. In general, our staying has been very pleasant and we suggest it! We hope that the host fix soon the few negative points
