This is a very basic hotel; but it's priced accordingly and was perfectly adequate for my trip / requirements.
Room was clean, with fresh towels and bed linen. Decent size tv, and WiFi good.
Had a bath/shower - pleasant surprise.
Being pet friendly is a must for me, and has handy grass area to walk round.
The staff were efficient and couldn't have been more friendly; I had dinner in the bar area - pretty standard pub food, at right price. I didn't have time for breakfast, but it smelled good!
Upon arrival I got a very warm welcome from staff and they upgraded the room that was nice it's very clean and looks modern the beds comfy TV works great and WiFi is good very warm room and slept well had the breakfast continental was a good selection staff was very polite then had the full English didn't have the works but was full would definitely stay here again it's in the middle of town and 5 mins walk away from train station so u have everything you need close by
Our Barnsley Central Premier Inn has everything you'd expect, incredibly comfy beds in every room and an onsite Table Table restaurant for a fresh new twist on eating out. Barnsley Town Centre is only a short distance away.
The fabric of the building was a little worn and tired. All staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Didn’t eat in so can’t comment on that. Great variety of food available in the Wool Market, 3 minutes walk away.
My room iwas a diuble bed room with a sofa. It was clean clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good.
Reasonable price.
The staff was frendly and helpful. I had an urgent meeting and requested the staff to extend the check out time. The staff extended the change our check out time for free.
It was a 6 mins driving distance to the town centre and railway station. It is good for those who drive. Free parking. But if you don't drive, the hotel may not be the perfect choice.
The hotel was not easy to find but the staff did assist us promptly. There was an issue up with the accommodation, upon reporting this our accommodation was upgraded immediately. There stay was good. The food was excellent. The only thing I will say is that the cleanliness of some of the rooms, need to be addressed and also the maintence needs to be addressed also.
Most authoritative evaluation:
No mineral water is provided, no disposable toothbrushes, slippers, toothpaste, the room is very cold and no heating! There is no stairs on the second floor! Because there are more things, it is very tired when moving, and then there is very little toilet paper, basically no new ones!
The Ibis styles is a quirky funky hotel situated around 2 miles from the centre of Barnsley, this is about £4-£6 in a ride share or taxi service.
Upon arriving I was met by some super friendly reception staff who quickly checked me in, even managed to get me in an accessible room having noticed I was on a mobility scooter, much appreciated for the shower in the morning.
On top of this they advised on local food delivery options and allowed me to eat it in the bar area! Such a kind and accommodating gesture as it was 11pm by this point.
The Rooms are spotlessly clean as pictured, spacious with big windows, all the usual in room stuff you would expect and a nice sized tv too.
The beds themselves the “sweetbedz” super comfortable overall, a bit firm for my personal preference but much better than most hotels around the ibis average price.
Can’t wait for the opportunity to stay again soon.
The breakfast I believe was the express option, the staff where great and assisted me, one plate i found to be plenty and was a tasty way to start the day.
The regent hotel is a historic family run hotel located near the centre of Dincaster about 10 minutes walk from the train station oposite a small park.
Downstairs the bar and restaurant can be found together with the reception. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Rooms are over a number of floors, I had single room at the back. The rooms was small but had window, work top, kettle and a queen size bed and a small tv. The room was clean but looks a bit dated which is reflected in the price which is fair and value for money.
Had a good night sleep and will stay again.

GGaileyBeeAn easy to find location and close to the town. The reception staff were friendly and the area was spotless. The room was as described. Am not keen on the bathrooms with clear glass you can see into though. The hand soap and shower gel were so lovely, great smell. The room and bathroom were spotless. The towels were huge and fluffy. The bed was rather hard but fine for one night. I was on the second floor and could feel the vibrations of the trams running which was not great. Good for a one night stop but not a longer stay.
GGuest UserOverall nice hotel, good sized room, nice and modern. Big comfortable bed. Only faults was there was a load of ladybirds in the bathroom, looks like there was some form of infestation. Only noticed this in the morning and reported it to the front desk when checked out. The bathroom door is also frosted with the window leaking through so was quite bright in the morning, think this might have just been my room though with it being on the end.
It was great location for a wedding I attended at Hooton Pagnall Hall - only 10 mins away so great location for what I needed. Staff were friendly. Would recommend

GGuest UserIdeal location to an event we were attending at the Don Valley bowl. Both guys on reception very helpful.
Parking onsite which was great. Allowed us to check in early as we needed to attend an event.
Room was clean and smelt clean also. Decorating and furniture was dated, but this didn’t affect our stay.
There was a constant noise, possibly in the pipes… but it was something we got used to.
I would stay again as it was reasonably priced, considering hotels closer to our event was 5 times the price.
Thank you 🙂
FFreemanA business hotel without any facilities except a restaurant. Room is relatively small not even a small freezer. Breakfast is good. However, bad experience with housekeeping. No service for the room only the first day. The maid just changed the towels and did nothing to the room including the toilet. I have to request for daily clean up at the front desk. On the third day, found a large plastic bag with rubbish in my room probably the maid forgot to take out. The bag included other rubbish not from my room.
