Shanghai Hotels with Gym

This hotel surprises you with its amazing style. In the lobby, you're greeted by figures of characters from different movies and the tempting smell of popcorn. The staff is very polite and friendly. They helped me urgently order an extra suitcase, and I'm especially grateful for that. The room is very cozy and high-tech. In the center of the room there's a projector that you can use to watch movies. Cleaning is done every day. The hotel also has a robot. The location is great. The main tourist spots are within walking distance. There are also metro stations nearby. Not far from the hotel there are several grocery stores, restaurants, and bars.

During my recent trip to Shanghai, I stayed at the Bellagio, the Waldorf Astoria on the Bund, and the St. Regis Jingan, and the Bellagio was by far my favorite. 1. I was completely won over by the hotel slippers and the minibar. The slippers have a non-slip sole and are very comfortable. The minibar is exquisitely arranged with sophisticated and beautiful glassware—it's an absolute feast for the eyes. 2. The front desk informed me that the minibar drinks are complimentary upon signing up as a hotel member. This is a very generous policy, especially since the other two hotels charged for them. 3. I was traveling with my 6-year-old child and should have paid for a children's breakfast. We also had a 21-yuan snack in the room, and I truthfully reported all of this at checkout. To my surprise, my full deposit was refunded without any extra charges. Thank you so much! 4. The room was spacious and very comfortable, featuring high-end amenities and a great bathtub. 5. The location is excellent. Although many people mind that it doesn't offer a direct view of the river, the Garden Bridge of Shanghai (Waibaidu Bridge) is just a few minutes' walk away, making it very convenient for a stroll along the riverfront. Summary: The Bellagio truly makes you feel at home. It's clear that they genuinely care about their service, rather than just chasing good reviews. Furthermore, none of the staff ever pressured me to leave a positive review.

One of the best hotels that we have stayed. Beautiful rooms with the most beautiful views. Wonderful service by all the staff from the front office, to the bellman and even the cleaners are super nice. We were travelling with my disabled brother and they made sure we were comfortable. We were offered an upgrade to the horizon club room for a great price which was definitely worth it as the rooms had nicer views and comes with breakfast (with halal options), afternoon tea and also evening refreshments. They also arranged for our kids birthday in the room! Special thanks to Elaine at the front office for arranging late checkout for us since our flight is late at night, as well as Kenny at the horizon club for attending to us and ensuring we had a smooth check out. If we ever come to Shanghai again, we definitely will stay here. ❤️❤️❤️

My child had an exam nearby, so I wanted to find a close place to rest. I'd seen this hotel being renovated and thought I'd give it a try. I arrived earlier than my check-in time and asked if there was an available room I could get into sooner. I ended up waiting about 10 minutes until a room was ready, and then they gave me the key card. Upon entering, it was clear the room had just been cleaned – the floor was still wet, a sign it had just been mopped. It had a smart toilet, and I didn't use the shower. The hand soap was verbena-scented, and there were two bottles of Nongfu Spring bottled water. Being on the side facing the residential area, it was relatively quiet. The air conditioning was powerful. The TV was a Skyworth smart TV, which allowed for on-demand content and screen mirroring. There's a small booth seating area with cushions and a small coffee table in the room, which is great for eating and means you're not just confined to the bed. Everything I've mentioned so far was satisfactory, but now for a pretty critical issue. As shown in image three, this huge bag of trash was left outside my door from 10 AM until 2:30 PM. It was ridiculous. Every time I went in or out, I could smell the garbage. There's actually a partition between rooms a bit further down; if it had been placed even 5 or 10 meters further away, I wouldn't have had to complain. This was particularly disappointing. The trash caused significant air pollution and was a very unpleasant experience. I hope the hotel takes this seriously and properly trains and assesses its service staff.

A month before the National Day holiday, I started planning our family trip with our 2.5-year-old. He's not really suited for crowded tourist spots, and as low-energy parents, we're not up for intense 'special forces' style parenting either. So, I opted for a 'staycation,' which is super popular on Xiaohongshu (xhs). I'd bookmarked several highly-rated family-friendly hotels, and Pudong Kerry stood out as the most satisfying from my research. It offered family rooms, a kids' playground, and direct access to a mall – incredibly convenient! I quickly booked a stay on Ctrip, full of anticipation. We checked in on the evening of the 3rd. The front desk lady was very polite and answered all my questions in detail. When I asked if an additional adult could accompany my child into the playground (the package included entry for one adult and one child, but I was worried I wouldn't have enough energy and we'd need to take turns looking after him 🤣), she agreed without hesitation. I'm really grateful for that, and it proved to be a lifesaver in the playground – we truly couldn't keep up with our child! He had an amazing time, and we parents were exhausted. Upon entering the room, we immediately saw the special tent, a highlight of the family suite. Forget kids, even I, a 30+ adult, wanted to crawl in and hang out for a bit! For the two days we stayed, this little tent became his 'secret base.' When we were relaxing in the hotel, he'd be in there watching Qiaohu (Chuckle) or playing with his toys. The hotel also gifted him a little kangaroo plushie. Wow, it completely won him over and became his 'best buddy.' Every night before bed, he'd ask, 'Where's my best buddy?' Hahaha, the innocence of a child really touches your heart every single moment. The kangaroo T-shirt was a bit big, but that's fine; he can wear it when he's older and we can come back to the Kerry Hotel again. During check-in, the bed rail and children's toiletries were all prepared, which was very thoughtful. The first round of the mini-bar was free, and they even provided cookies, which tasted pretty good. The only suggestion I have is that the bed rail felt a bit unstable. At the head of the bed, it was fine because of the cabinet propping it up, but the foot of the bed felt loose; if you nudged it slightly, it felt like it would fall. Later, I was worried he might roll off in the middle of the night if the rail gave way, so I stuffed pillows along the side of the rail, which solved the problem. Hotel breakfast is on the 1st floor. Booking a family room includes two breakfasts. The breakfast spread was extensive, with Chinese and Western options, noodles, wontons, bread, and pastries – everything you could want, and it all tasted good. Next to the kids' playground was a gym, which looked very good with plenty of equipment, but I didn't get to experience it as I was with my child. This trip was very satisfying, and I look forward to returning to the Kerry Hotel to unlock new experiences.

If you're looking to save money on your Disney trip, but still want to be close to the park and have a comfortable night's sleep, this hotel is a convenient and practical choice for a quick stay. 📍 **Location & Transportation** It's not far from Disney, and there's a shuttle service to and from the park, making it easy to get there early, watch the parades, and head back after finishing the rides. For guests on a tight schedule, this is the most crucial and practical aspect. 🛏️ **Room Experience** The rooms aren't huge, but they're well-equipped, including a capsule coffee machine, which is great for a refreshing cup in the morning. The view outside is a lush green suburban landscape, which isn't claustrophobic; instead, it's quite peaceful and pleasant to look at.

Rating: 5/5 This was my second stay at the Waldorf Astoria, and I must say the experience was excellent. From the elegant Morandi-inspired color palette to the spacious 2-meter bed, everything in the room was impressive and incredibly relaxing. The staff were all very polite! I think next time I visit Shanghai, I will continue to choose the Waldorf Astoria. Also! During this stay at the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund, I'd like to extend a special thanks to our dedicated concierge, Aaron Echole. He proactively added me on WeChat on the night of check-in, which made communication seamless afterward. When I requested a late check-out at the last minute, the concierge immediately helped coordinate and implement it, making the entire process efficient and smooth. I didn't have to go back and forth to the front desk for inquiries. The communication was easy and thoughtful, and responses were quick. You could feel the dedication in the details. Such flexible and considerate service made my trip much more relaxed and significantly enhanced this stay.

The river-view suite at The Peninsula Shanghai is undoubtedly the gold standard for a luxurious stay in the magic city. Situated in a prime location at the source of the Bund, the suite offers an unobstructed panoramic view of the winding Huangpu River and the dazzling Lujiazui skyline, featuring its iconic 'three-piece suit' of skyscrapers. Especially as night falls and the city lights up, enjoying this breathtaking night view from the comfort of your room or private terrace creates an incredibly immersive atmosphere. In terms of hardware, the suite perfectly blends understated luxury with retro charm. The spacious room design cleverly incorporates Art Deco style with old Shanghai aesthetics. A separate walk-in closet, a marble double bathtub, underfloor heating, and a highly tech-savvy bedside control panel all demonstrate an extreme pursuit of detail. Despite being open for over a decade, the hotel meticulously maintains its facilities, and the quality remains impeccable. Furthermore, the dining options within the hotel are not to be missed. Whether it's the exquisite cuisine at the Michelin-starred restaurants or the highly ceremonial English afternoon tea in the lobby, both offer an ultimate culinary delight. A stay in a river-view suite at The Peninsula Shanghai promises an unforgettable journey through luxury. Special thanks to the helpful young lady with glasses at the front desk (I was in a hurry to check in and forgot to ask her name) who kindly upgraded my reserved garden-view suite to a river-view suite for free. I also have a small suggestion: for example, the portion size of the waffles for breakfast is three times that of The Peninsula Beijing. It would be great if guests could be recommended à la carte options, as a smaller, more refined breakfast would reduce waste.

First off, the room decor is absolutely stunning, as it always is at W hotels. I've stayed at Ws in Xi'an, Macau, and Chengdu, and now Shanghai – their design aesthetic is consistently modern and really resonates with us Gen Z. The room layout and attention to detail are spot-on. They never disappoint when it comes to style. Secondly, I won't go into too much detail about cleanliness; W hotels consistently maintain high standards, so no issues there. Thirdly, the service was excellent. Any request I had was promptly considered and accommodated by the hotel. You feel the exceptional service from the moment you step into the hotel. Staff members are present from the luggage drop-off all the way to the elevator lobby, waiting to assist. Furthermore, the dining experience was fantastic. The breakfast at every W I've visited has been superb, truly top-notch. Finally, since it was our first time at the Shanghai W, the front desk even upgraded our room! I was pleasantly surprised to find myself in a 'Marvelous Suite'. The whole experience was absolutely brilliant. The only minor drawback was that the drinks and room setup included in the Ctrip package weren't prepared in advance, even though I had called a day earlier. If those details could also be taken care of beforehand, so you walk into a fully prepared room, then this would truly be a 10/10 experience.

We checked in on the evening of October 3rd. It was a bit cold and rainy after getting off the subway. When we arrived at the hotel, front desk staff members #11 and #19 warmly introduced us to local attractions and even provided free breakfast vouchers. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The housekeeping staff was very polite. I'm also very grateful to the front desk staff today for allowing a late check-out, which let my daughter rest well before heading to the airport. We will definitely stay here again next time!
