"Location is fantastic. Served by 2 subway lines and going places was easy. Ditched Didi as traffic was bad and subway travel was cheap (RMB 3/Pax) to major attractions (Lama temple, Nanguluo xiang, Temple of Heaven). Please get hotel map from concierge and good for moving around. Wafujing was behind hotel. The famous duck restaurant Quanjude was within walking distance. Absolutely a joy to move around! From mid Oct onwards, no central conditioning and relied on open window for natural air. We found the room stuffy and we had portable fan (check in 1-3 Nov). Room was newly renovated, bright and clean. Hotel breakfast (2nd floor) was OK and food choice and quality was average, just to fill stomach. Elevator access card and room access card, 2 sets. Diamond tier. Trip member, enjoyed late check out 2pm. Simply best location to stay in Beijing!"

HhebeThis is a hotel I genuinely wanted to review. We arrived after midnight, but they kindly allowed us an early check-in, which was a huge relief after a long journey – I'm incredibly grateful!
The hotel is right by the Exit 6 subway station (though it's not the most direct route to Universal Studios), making transfers to many places very convenient. The breakfast selection is extensive, and the bedding, which I pay close attention to, is excellent. The smart features are also top-notch; you can know the real-time status of the laundry room and get timely updates on your washing progress via a mobile connection, which is fantastic. My entire stay experience was maximized!
After staying at other hotels later, the comparison was stark, so this one is definitely worth recommending!

It offers a tranquil stay while being steps away from all the action – truly an oasis of calm in the heart of the city! The service is warm and attentive. The lobby downstairs provides complimentary hot drinks like Pear Soup, along with various candies and snacks. We even received a free upgrade to a balcony room, which was incredibly spacious and more than enough for our family of three. The first couple of days were quite cold, and before we left, the front desk ladies always asked if we wanted a warm bottle of mineral water to take with us – such a thoughtful touch! I highly recommend this Manxin hotel; it gets a perfect 100 points from me!

GGuest UserOur hotel room is really great! It's about a 500-meter walk from Beijing West Railway Station, making it super convenient. The room was very clean, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. The central air conditioning worked perfectly. There was even a cute little kung fu tea set with loose leaf tea (not those flimsy tea bags!), which was perfect for unwinding after a long journey. When we ran out of the complimentary bottled water, a quick call had the delivery robot bringing more right to our door – so convenient! There's also a thoughtful full-length mirror. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, plenty of hot water, and a great hairdryer. All in all, fantastic value for money and a very pleasant stay!

GGuest UserI chose Mingzhu Hotel for my son's early morning flight from Daxing Airport for his overseas studies, mainly because of its affordable price and close proximity to the terminal. I was pleasantly surprised to learn it's actually a China Southern Airlines' own hotel. The facilities, cleanliness, and service all far exceeded my expectations. We were three people staying in a double room, and the hotel even provided an extra set of towels and toiletries. There was a minor incident during our stay, but considering it wasn't a big deal and I felt for the cleaning staff, I didn't report it to the hotel. To my surprise, the hotel staff somehow found out and proactively came to our room to apologize, even offering a set of branded toiletries. This level of service is truly commendable. It was a very pleasant stay, and I've decided that given the opportunity, we will definitely choose this hotel again in the future. Thumbs up to the Mingzhu Hotel staff! 👍

Use exit A when coming of the metro. It’s just a few meters away. Also the hotel has another name on the outside. Look out for the door number.
The hotel room had everything you needed with good toiletries, water and tea. We had a room with a window which over looked the street. The best part was the free activities at its sister hotel down the road. Here you can do Chinese printing, calligraphy and dress up in traditional dress. This was on every week night from 6-8pm and was free of charge. The bed was really comfortable and there was a good shower in the bathroom.
The hotel staff were pleasant and sent information using WeChat.
There is a bar next door selling craft ales and a handy supermarket opposite.

2203968****This is my second stay here, and there will definitely be a third, fourth, and many more. I really love this hotel, even though it's a bit out of the way. But there's a fresh market, Daoxiangcun (a famous bakery), a supermarket, and the Dayang Seafood Market nearby. It's fantastic to buy some seafood and cook it yourself with the kitchenette!
The hotel rooms are exceptionally spacious, and the heating works great. Everything is spotless, and I really like the simple European style. The staff are very attentive, from breakfast service to housekeeping, everyone is dedicated and professional. Every day when I return, my room is perfectly clean.

The surrounding area has good amenities; downstairs, there's a noodle shop and a lamb soup restaurant, both with decent food. About 700 meters from the hotel, there are highly-rated Peking duck and hotpot restaurants, and they weren't crowded, so no waiting in line. The rooms are spacious enough for two adults and two children. The breakfast buffet is extensive, but the price is a bit high.

GGuest UserIt's been almost three years since I last stayed at the Grand Millennium Beijing. The room is a bit dated, but the location is excellent. They don't allow delivery food to be left with the concierge, and the staff won't bring it up; you have to pick it up from a delivery locker, which is really inconvenient.
I especially want to mention the cleaning lady for my room, Qiao Lifen. Every time she cleaned my room, she would immediately cover my food and cups to prevent dust from getting in. She noticed that I take a bath every day, so she would scrub the bathtub for me daily, then rinse it with hot water and wipe it clean. Cleaning staff at other hotels usually just drain the water from the tub. I have a lot of clothes and they're often messy, but she would always hang up my dresses and jackets and neatly fold my stockings together. She would always ask me to confirm if something was trash before throwing it away. When cleaning the toilet, she was incredibly thorough and diligent, disinfecting both the toilet and sink daily. Because I was jet-lagged, I drank a lot of tea every day, and she always remembered to leave extra bottles of water and tea bags for me. Her service was exceptionally detailed and thoughtful, and she has a wonderful personality, always happy to help. She's also very enthusiastic and always greets you with a kind smile. Truly outstanding.

I'm not sure why it's called a 'restaurant' (饭店), I didn't specifically ask. I also didn't see any F&B department, so maybe it's been repurposed?
Facilities: The decor is very simple and basic. Nothing too special, but it's very clean.
Hygiene: Quite clean. The room was thoughtfully arranged and tidied, and there was even a small tea set.
Environment: The exterior looks beautiful, but the interior decoration is just average.
Service: Excellent. They specifically called me before I arrived to confirm and mentioned that the room had a slight smell of disinfectant, in case I minded. I didn't smell it when I got there. But I was really touched and warmed by the front desk's gesture. I especially want to commend the young man at the front desk; he was very conscientious and responsible.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit the area. It's incredibly convenient, very close to the Forbidden City. Plus, as soon as you step out of the alley, you're at Longfu Temple. Pretty good!
