"This was my second stay here, and it definitely won't be my last. I first chose it on a whim, but now it's my go-to for international layovers – it never disappoints! The breakfast, which costs 68 RMB per person, is fantastic. It offers a wide variety of dishes, from fried and stir-fried to soups and other refreshments. It's one of the most comprehensive and hygienic hotel breakfasts I've had at this price point. Upon arrival, you're greeted with fruit and yogurt, and the front desk staff immediately offers a warm cup of tea – a really thoughtful touch. **Capital Airport T3/T2 shuttle service:** Always punctual. Each time I've been picked up, I only waited for about ten minutes, and the pickup location instructions were very clear. **Solo Premium Late-Night Buffet:** The late-night snack service is a warm and welcome treat. **Facilities:** The hotel's hardware facilities are quite new, and food deliveries are even handled by robots. **Cleanliness:** I'm quite particular about cleanliness, and both of my stays have been excellent in this regard. **Environment:** During the day, you can hear planes, but it's not loud. As a light sleeper, I might hear a little noise from the hallway if I try to sleep during the day. However, it's very quiet at night and won't disturb your sleep. If you're a heavy sleeper, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. **Service:** I've saved the best for last – the service quality here is exceptional! From the moment I stepped out of the car until I was in my room, the staff helped with my luggage and personally escorted me. The experience was absolutely superb; calling it five-star service wouldn't be an exaggeration. It's clear that this hotel is managed with great care and dedication. Kudos to the hotel management!"

"The hotel's overall service really needs a lot of improvement. For airport transfers, you have to actively call and ask the hotel; they won't contact guests in advance to inform them of the times. Upon check-in, there were no welcome drinks, no one helped carry luggage to the room, and no one introduced the room facilities. Regarding airport transfers, they don't confirm and tally the number of people for each flight in advance. Instead, everyone just waits in the lobby, which is very disorganized. Today, I missed the 6 AM shuttle. I thought there was a wake-up service and almost missed my flight (I caught it because the flight was delayed by over an hour due to weather). I felt terrible 👎. Aside from the airport transfer, there were no highlights, but even that one service wasn't handled well. The only good review is for the delivery robot; the robot brought my takeout right to my room door. The service is worse than the robot's!"

"This hotel boasts an excellent location in close proximity to both the subway and train station. The reception staff were notably professional, friendly, and accommodating, ensuring all our needs were met with efficiency. While the hotel is conveniently situated, guests should be aware that it is accessed via a narrow alleyway. Consequently, ride-share or taxi drivers may occasionally choose to drop passengers at the main road or the nearest intersection rather than the front entrance. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary coffee provided at reception, which added great value to our experience."

"This hotel has a very good location. It is close to the metro, and you can reach the city center in just a few minutes for less than 5 RMB. It is also convenient for traveling, as it is not far from Changsha South High-Speed Railway Station, which is great for trips to Zhangjiajie. There are many local restaurants around the hotel with affordable prices and good taste. The room is clean, modern, and comfortable. Overall, it offers great value for money and I would recommend this place."

"I didn't expect such great value for money! The room was very clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. They offer a free shuttle to the airport, which runs punctually every hour. It goes to Terminal 3 first (15 minutes) then Terminal 2 (30 minutes). The earliest shuttle is at 6 AM. The driver was also super nice and patiently explained all the stop information to us. It left me with wonderful memories of Beijing."

"The pickup service was excellent, quick and convenient. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the complimentary tea was of high quality. Overall, I was quite satisfied. The only minor drawbacks were the old TV and the sluggish remote control; I spent ages trying to figure out how to cast to it but eventually gave up. I'd initially expected a lot of noise due to its proximity to the airport, but the room was well soundproofed, so my sleep wasn't affected. All in all, I recommend it and would stay here again if I have another layover."

"The hotel is strategically located along Xiamen Street, making it very convenient to find food, with many skewer stalls nearby. Guests using Didi should note that drop-off is at the street entrance, followed by a short walk of approximately 300 metres to the hotel while carrying luggage. The room size was adequate and comfortable. However, the room tended to be quite warm, which may affect sleep comfort for some guests. Housekeeping was consistent and reliable, with water bottles, towels, and bed sheets replenished daily. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Halal food options are available nearby, so finding suitable meals was not an issue. A unique highlight is the complimentary local traditional clothing experience offered from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm, complete with studio lighting. Its free. And don't forget to try art rubbing experience there too. Overall, it was a positive stay with a good location and pleasant experience."

"I recently stayed at the Sunworld Hotel, and the experience was fantastic! I definitely have to give it a glowing review! The overall decoration of the hotel is exquisite. The lobby is spacious and bright, and every corner is clean and tidy. I especially want to praise the front desk staff, Zoey. Her service is simply impeccable. When handling the check-in procedures, she was enthusiastic and professional. I asked her many questions about nearby places to visit and dine, and she patiently answered all of them. She also thoughtfully provided a lot of practical suggestions. It made me feel extremely warm and at ease. In conclusion, both the environment and service of the Sunworld Hotel exceeded my expectations. Zoey has added many wonderful memories to this stay. When I come to this area next time, I will definitely choose to stay here again!"

"The hotel's airport shuttle service was excellent. After landing, I contacted the hotel, and the staff informed me exactly where to meet. I was quickly taken to the hotel. The departure shuttle runs on the hour, and you can book it with the front desk staff; it leaves right on time. The hotel's hot water dispenser was broken, but a staff member immediately boiled a kettle for me. I was very satisfied with their service. The room had a heater, which kept it very warm. I was also happy with the other basic amenities. We only stayed one night, so there were no complaints."

Beijing has two main airports: Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) and Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX). PEK handles most international and long-haul flights, while PKX is a newer hub serving both domestic and international routes.

Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK): Located about 15 miles (25 km) northeast of the city centre, PEK is the busiest and most common arrival point for flights from the UK. It is well-connected to the city by the Capital Airport Express, taxis, and shuttle buses.

Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX): Situated around 29 miles (46 km) south of central Beijing, PKX is a modern airport designed to handle growing passenger numbers. Transport options include the Daxing Airport Express, intercity rail, taxis, and buses.

Want to start or end your Beijing trip smoothly? Staying at a hotel near PEK or PKX with shuttle services can save time and energy, especially for late-night arrivals or early flights, giving you more chance to enjoy the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, and the city’s lively food streets.

MmindyTThis hotel is an absolute hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we felt so well taken care of. It feels like a Ritz-Carlton but with even warmer, more personal service. The corridors are lined with plush carpets, the materials and finishes are all rich and top-notch, and my child immediately described it as “posh” — I’d add that it’s also very zen, peaceful and quiet. The room is generously sized, quiet and very zen. The hotel is new, modern and “smart”: when you get out of bed in the morning, a soft foot light comes on automatically so you don’t have to scramble for switches. The kids loved pressing buttons to close the curtains, and I liked being able to choose between work lighting and cosy ambience at a single touch. Service here is outstanding. Everyone is fully dedicated, responsible, warm and kind — and very prompt. Nothing is ever too much trouble; everything is handled politely, respectfully and thoughtfully, so you really feel safe and well looked after. The team also has a lovely sense of humour, which adds to the comfort and makes the stay feel relaxed and friendly rather than stiff. On top of that, they even helped me plan safe and cost-effective travel options — such amazing, value-added service. Special thanks to Xiaoyu and Xiaoliu, who were excellent throughout. Xiaoyu especially made the extra effort to be promptly on hand via WeChat, helping with any queries even after hours — it honestly felt like having a friend there with us. The rest of the team were equally attentive and caring, and I noticed everyone would greet the guests, including the cleaners. It is a very well-run hotel: not just following instructions but offering real service from the heart. When we checked out, they even surprised us with bags of lovely snacks, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was wonderful. The spread has everything one could ever need: noodles and omelettes cooked on the spot with a rich meat stew, a choice of porridges (I especially liked the millet), plus Western and kid-friendly options, and many different drinks to choose from. Insider tip: don’t miss the croissant — it has egg custard inside as a filling! The toiletries, like the shampoo and soap, are specially made and feel high quality — another small touch that shows how much care has gone into the details. The location is incredibly convenient. Huge malls and a hypermart are literally at the doorstep, and the MRT/subway is linked directly to the hotel. The nearby malls and eateries are massive and have everything you could possibly want. There’s an outlet mall about 15 minutes away, so shopping is definitely covered. Practical bonuses: major banks are right downstairs, and if you need to change RMB, the exchange rate is very good and the fees are reasonable. There’s even a salon if you feel like getting a new haircut during your stay. Through the connected mall, you can find food of every kind, including Michelin-starred options — including a restaurant that serves crab cooked in liquor and delicious braised radish. Although the hotel is luxurious, modern and packed with smart features, what I treasure most is the dedication, warmth and sincerity of the staff. I’ve stayed at many other hotel chains, but this experience is way beyond anything I’ve had before. This stay has now set a very high bar for other hotels to match. Highly, highly recommended.

LLuoyeThis hotel, located near Qianmen, boasts exquisite decor and a tranquil, elegant ambiance. They offer complimentary traditional costumes for guests to try on and take photos, with a professional partner photographer who captures stunning shots within the courtyard. The facilities are very practical: the rooms are well-heated, and the hot water supply is stable, ensuring a comfortable night's rest. The service is attentive and thoughtful; front desk staff proactively helped with opening doors and carrying luggage, and provided warm ginger tea upon check-in. The lobby offers free fruits, snacks, and hot beverages all day, which is very convenient. They also thoughtfully display the daily flag-raising and lowering times at Tiananmen Square, which is very useful for tourists. Transportation is convenient, with Qianmen subway station just a 5-10 minute walk away, making it easy and time-saving to visit various attractions by metro. The breakfast selection is rich, even featuring Beijing specialty snacks like Douzhi (fermented mung bean milk) and Jiaoquan (fried dough rings) for those interested in trying local flavors. Overall, this is a distinctive hotel, perfect for travelers looking to experience the charm of old Beijing while enjoying comfortable and convenient accommodation. Highly recommended.

MM512235****This hotel is absolutely amazing! We were able to store our luggage a few hours early, which was super convenient coming straight from the high-speed rail station. The room itself was huge, easily accommodating four people. My friend and I had so much space we could practically roll around in it! It was very spacious and comfortable, with two tables, and the hygiene was excellent, with complete and high-quality facilities. They didn't rush us to check out even though we woke up late, which was incredibly thoughtful and human-centered 🥹. Most importantly, it was only a little over 200 yuan a night, and it's so convenient to get everywhere. The value for money is absolutely fantastic (^_^)v! Even my friend, who studied in Beijing for four years, couldn't stop raving about this place!

GGuest UserThe hotel name is a little misleading as the name outside doesn’t actually say “the yard hotel”… it says “Pierre Palace Hotel” so it can be a little confusing to find the first time you arrive. It is very close to the Entrance of Qianemen Ave Security checkpoint where your didi driver will drop you off and you will have to walk a short 100 meters to get to the hotel, which is directly across from Lawson’s Convenience store. The location is 10/10  on the bustling street of Qiananmen Ave. Do not miss your chance to go to Michelin star “Quan de Jude” Roasted duck restaurant, which is well known in Beijing and just down the street. The staff here are very helpful, especially Mr. Zeng who is able to speak Cantonese and help provide us with instructions and information. If you need to communicate in English only, a translator app will help tremendously. We love the style and decor of this hotel, it has a classic yet charming interior. We originally booked an inside room without windows, but during the check-in process, they offered a room with windows with better ventilation at no extra charge for our comfort. The only downside is that they do not have an on-site restaurant. If you booked a room with free breakfast, they will give you a breakfast voucher and you go to another hotel nearby. You can also have the option for them to deliver the meal to you at 7 or 8 AM And they will hang it on the door knob of your room without knocking to disturb you. The breakfast menu selection was not our favourite. If we return to Beijing, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

XXiangyaofujidezhongniandashuThe room layout was a bit long and narrow, which I wasn't used to, but it did have its advantages – the sound of the washing machine didn't bother the bedroom. The gym and pool were both very spacious, and the fitness facilities were comprehensive, even including a billiards table, which exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was standard, and the service was quite good.

까즈미Great value for the price—this hotel exceeded expectations. The breakfast was satisfying, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the coffee/snack lounge was a pleasant surprise. Though it’s slightly away from the city center, the amenities and pricing make it a smart choice. Highly recommended.

WWangxiaoguai510Excellent value for money!!!!! The surrounding amenities are very convenient, and it's newly renovated. Honestly, you won't find a hotel of this caliber in Beijing for this price. The service is also great; they basically meet all your needs. The breakfast is also very generous; I thought it would be simple for such a low price, but they even have a coffee machine. The only drawback might be the lack of central air conditioning, as it's an older wall-mounted unit. However, for Beijing, where there's no heating, being able to turn on the hot air whenever you want is actually quite comfortable.

JJess and familyWe booked three family rooms when my parents and my sister with her family came to visit us in China. Beijing was our first stop on our leg of showing the family around China. The hotel had arranged two rooms for us that we got straight away when we arrived in the morning, even though we got there very early, and we got the third room in the afternoon. The hotel’s location is very convenient, as it is close to the shopping street, shopping mall, restaurants, the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. The only thing that could be improved is the cleaning, since small details are overlooked during the cleaning process.

GGuest UserThe room attendant cleaned promptly, and there was a dedicated person in the lobby to operate the elevators. The gym and pool staff were friendly and welcoming. The deluxe view room, facing due east and located on floors 25 and above, is part of the executive level, offering panoramic views of the East Third Ring Road. In the mornings, you can gaze at the 'fog city' (referring to Beijing's occasional haze), and at night, admire the iconic illuminated landmarks. The nearby multi-story PwC building, lit 24/7, evoked many similar memories for me. The pool facilities were also excellent – a truly worthwhile experience!

MM637073****The location is fantastic, right in a hutong. It's close to both Dongsi and National Art Museum metro stations, and you can take a taxi directly to the hotel entrance, use the subway, or grab a shared bike. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and even helped us carry our luggage upstairs. Although there's no central heating in the room, the AC unit provides plenty of warmth. The window is small, mainly for ventilation. Overall, we were very satisfied; choosing this place for its location was definitely the right decision.
