The hotel itself is stunning, and the staff couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. However, the room had a couple of minor issues. The shower head wouldn’t stay centered, causing water to spill onto the bathroom floor. Additionally, the hair dryer malfunctioned, turning on and off randomly. Since I was only staying one night, I didn’t request a room change, but it was inconvenient. Despite these issues, I would stay here again because the main hotel facilities and staff were excellent.

Cozy and nice looking hotel near the center of Bruges. Nice location - near the center of Bruges but at the same time quiet and right next to the canal and bus stop. Lobby, halls and stairs areas look just gorgeous! Cool old furniture, paintings, statues etc. The stairs themselves are wooden and beatifully made. My room (number 2) had tall ceilings and huge windows facing the canal. Only wish it would have been on one of the upper floors. Same thing with old-style furniture in the room - that was nice and beatiful. But the old and worn power outlets were not that nice. Also, the fridge in the room was a joke - it sorta worked but didn't keep stuff in it cold, couldn't even handle a couple of beers. The bed was very comfortable and I've slept like a baby. The lobby zone was very nice to hang, really enjoyed having a beer in the evening, sitting there in one of the sofas. The breakfast was okay, not very diverse, but everything was tasty and fresh. A bit missed the porridge though. Overall, it was good experience, I've enjoyed my stay!

Location is what stood out for me first - the ease to roam around Brugge as a solo traveler has really been perfected by this. The bar staff is so knowledgeable as well about local beers and I do get that it’s their job, but he’s explained clearly without being condescending at all as it was my first time visiting and I am quite particular about my beer. I was there between 13-16 June 2026 - if any Martins Brugge hotel is reading this, please send my thank you

There's no elevator, so carrying luggage up to your room can be a bit of a struggle. Also, the location on the map was wrong; it showed the restaurant, but the actual room was in a small alley, which took some searching to find. The staff were all very friendly, but with the language barrier, many things were unclear, like suddenly being asked to pay an 8 Euro tourist tax. The place was generally clean, but there was a bit of dust near the window and the floor wasn't spotless. However, I have to say the bed was really comfortable, and the location was very close to all the main tourist attractions in Belgium.

My bunkbed didn’t have a curtain so I asked to change at reception. Unfortunately, I was changed to a bunkbed next to the door which was unnecessarily loud. On my last night there there was also a constant beeping that everyone complained about. It’s a clean hostel with a pub, which was pretty cool. My room was in a building separate to the pub. The kitchen was great with a cute outside area to eat. It’s a bit of a walk to the train station but there are buses.

Let me start by saying the location is amazing. A short walk of a couple of hundred meters and you're right in the middle of the main square. That's truly fantastic. The room was fine. Just a good bed, bathroom, sink, and air conditioning. There was no wardrobe, which is a drawback. So, more or less what you'd expect, nothing special in our opinion. What's bad is the soundproofing. The first night, we were terribly bothered by noise from the upstairs neighbors. Huge thudding sounds even at 2 and 3 AM. The second night, we woke up to very loud talking on the street around 6 AM. The windows were closed, but it sounded as if they were open. And since there's no reception or anything, you can't do anything about it. Whether we'll book this again is doubtful. A good night's sleep is important. We had room 205, facing the street, which we definitely advise against! Our adult kids had 107 and 204. Room 107 is at the back and didn't suffer from street noise, but both rooms did have issues with the ”upstairs neighbors.” So, perhaps a tip would be to book a room on an upper floor at the back.

Отличное расположение, очень близко к центру города, 10 минут до вокзала, минусы: номер не очень чистый, чтобы не было комаров в номере, нужно ставить москитную сетку в одно из окон, нет кондиционера.

The hotel is a bit old, but it's clean and well-equipped. The room was small, and the outlets were inconveniently located near the floor. It's super quick to get to the station – just turn left after exiting! To get to Bruges city center, it's about a ten-minute walk. The Basilica of the Holy Blood was quite unique. I stumbled upon a market and found some really cheap food like grilled pork chops, chicken legs, and pork knuckles – I ate my fill! There's a Carrefour Express downstairs; things aren't particularly cheap, but they have 500ml cokes for €0.50, which is a good deal!

Great location close to the centre but away from the noise. Front desk were friendly and I was able to store my bicycle, although a shame you have to pay extra for this. Bed was comfy and room has needed amenities. Breakfast options were a bit limited but well stocked considering how busy it got. I would stay here again if revisiting Bruges.
