I recently stayed at Second Nature Belfast on Queen Street and was thoroughly impressed. It's not just a hotel, but a true 'hometel' – a place where you feel right at home, yet with the service level of a good boutique hotel. The location is simply perfect: everything is within walking distance – shops, restaurants, and Belfast's attractions. The room was spacious, stylish, and very clean, with its own kitchenette, which is incredibly convenient for making your own breakfast or light dinners. I particularly liked the common areas: the cozy Winnie’s café, the bar with live music in the evenings, and a small fitness room that guests can use for free. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with recommendations or additional services. The only downside I noted was that breakfast prices in the restaurant are a bit high, but this is completely offset by the quality and variety of the dishes. Overall, this is one of the best places to stay in Belfast, especially if you value style, comfort, and a central location. I will definitely be back.

We stayed in the hotel as it was near to the bus station. The room was very clean and tidy with everything we needed. We were on the 11th floor but had no view as the window looked onto a high brick wall. I booked this hotel solely because it was advertised as having air-conditioning, which is essential in the summer. We found out at check in that not all rooms have air-conditioning and was given a room without air-conditioning. We subsequently spoke with Reception team and was upgraded to a room with air conditioning, thanks to help from Roland. Please take note when booking if this is an essential requirement for you.

A new hotel located right across from the Titanic Museum. Everything is clean and good, and you can even walk to the city center in about 20 minutes. There's also a bus stop directly opposite the hotel. It would be nice to have curtains in the rooms for more comfort and privacy, so neighbors aren't looking in. 😀

It was a gorgeous place to be honest, nice aesthetics and all, calm environment, so this place is a beautiful place to stay in. My only problem was they couldn’t check me in earlier, so I had to sit elsewhere for 7 hours waiting for my check in time since I flew into Belfast at 8am. I called them to get checked in @12 but they couldn’t make that happen. Got in at 3pm though, 1hr earlier than the original time.

The hotel location is excellent, it is within walking distance to gardens, travellers attractions, city center and grand transport hub. The hotel also provides a good breakfast, and toothbrush set upon request, this is extraordinary compared to many hotels in Belfast as general. The hotel compound is not big, so not many other facilities can be offered except a small gym room for guests to work out. One small thing to highlight about the cleanliness, the hotel is providing a table fan which is very dusty.

A lovely hotel in a great location with friendly and helpful staff —- however there were so many small negatives that the overall experience was disappointing. The lift was not in service so had to use the stairs. Thankfully not a high rise and I was on the 1st floor. A huge, well decorated room was ruined by air conditioning and extraction units right outside the window which made for a loud and restless night. The frosted glass on the windows left the room dull. Black mold in the bathroom, large crack on the wall and dirty carpets did not help. Neither did the badly made bed and stiff coarse dressing gowns, which I had to look for and found squashed into a shelf in the wardrobe - and one had a large black stain on it. WiFi was very good but there were no usb / type C charging ports. TV was tiny in comparison to the size of the room and kept losing its signal. I also noted a blown lightbulb, but I guess this could have happened at any time. Breakfast was also disappointing, although the sausage was delicious and the highlight. They did provide a small gluten free option too, but I’m not sure if GF bread and non dairy milk is sufficient in and of themselves. The hotel claims a 4* rating and for that I would have at least expected tea/coffee table service. Instead I got it myself from a coffee machine. The coffee itself was very strong to the point of being undrinkable. Finally while speaking with staff it emerged that the Trip price, which supposedly included a huge discount was actually way over the standard price for a room with this hotel.

The biggest drawback is its location, which is quite rural, surrounded by nature parks, and small residential towns. On the plus side, the rooms are genuinely spacious. This time, I stayed near the edge of the building, with windows on two sides. One of the windows opens to a view of distant snow-capped mountains 🏔️. Additionally, the soundproofing and cleanliness were excellent. The air control system can be a bit noisy, but once it’s turned off at night, the room is wonderfully quiet. The hotel also features its own gym and swimming pool, which include some classes, a sauna, a steam room, and a hydrotherapy pool. While it can get busy during peak hours, it never felt overcrowded. Many of the club members are local residents, and listening to their amusing banter in the steam room was quite entertaining. Staying at a hotel alone is such a blissful way to relax. When I get home, I’ve decided to upgrade my bedding and incorporate sauna sessions into my routine!

The hotel is clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping. You just need to hang the 'clean my room' sign on the door. There's no fridge in the room, but the front desk noticed I was staying for a longer period and kindly gave me a room with more windows, which was very thoughtful. The only slight downside was the Wi-Fi; during the World Cup, live streams experienced a bit of a delay.
