This hotel is super nice and a very chic place to stay. Fun to have a drink in the lobby and to have breakfast inside the restaurant. The rooms are very spacious they have like three separate rooms and they have a beautiful balcony overlooking the property. Staff was flawless hotel was very upscale. The only problem I have with this hotel is that the pool is very very small and I like to luxury ate and of huge swimming pool when I am on vacation and the pool here very small maybe only suitable for children or for someone who doesn't like to swim laps. I never took a dip in the pool and I changed hotels because I wanted a spa / swimming pool hot tub amenity for my vacation. If you were not into pools then this is the perfect place to stay. I got this room for $100 a night and that is truly a steal.

This hotel has a unique local charm, though it's a bit older. The elevator is one of those semi-automatic types installed behind the stairwell, so you have to close the door yourself. Directly across from the hotel is an old, abandoned building, which makes the area feel a bit run-down. The room itself was quite clean, but the bathroom did have a slightly dated feel. On the bright side, there are attractions nearby and plenty of restaurants to choose from.

The hotel exudes classic elegance, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel's layout is thoughtfully designed, making navigation effortless for guests coming and going throughout their stay. Its pristine cleanliness and classical architecture create an atmosphere of refined luxury that perfectly complements its historical surroundings. Location-wise, the Grand Hotel Continental could not be better positioned. Stepping out of the main entrance, guests find themselves directly on Bucharest's main thoroughfare, with an abundance of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within easy walking distance. The city's finest museums are mere minutes away, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travellers. Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. Fantastic hotel, cannot fault anything. I mentioned it was my partners birthday before arriving and they set up the room with champagne and cake for him at no extra cost. Hotel outside the historical centre.A 4-star hotel cannot leave the same towels for 4 days more the fallen towels landed them up and put up a scandalous thing. They say they have a jacuzzi bath on the terrace you're true there is but not working. The hot air doesn't work and the fridgebar the first 2 days did not work I changed it on the third day. Positive note the super comfortable bed king 10 stars.

The hotel certainly have some history but everything is so well maintained and cleaned, the room looks just like the photos they show. You need your card to press the lift and get in the floor hallway, which adds an extra layer of security. The hallway has a pleasant smell. The staff are very welcoming and willing to answer questions. The station is near underground metro and numerous bus stations, you can find public transports to most tourist sites. It was a pleasant stay and to get this experience for such affordable price I would say I definitely under-paid.

The apartment was very easy to reach from the airport by public transport, with a bus service running 24 hours a day. The self check-in process was also very simple and convenient. I was initially worried because I arrived around midnight, but everything went smoothly. The hosts responded very quickly and were extremely helpful and cooperative. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed after a late arrival. I would definitely recommend staying here!
