Very warmly hospitality services and good breakfast especially for a Hong Kong guy met with a nice lady waitress Sharon who also came from Hong Kong. She help to get two boiled eggs each morning for me and my wife. I and my wife planned to stay two days in this hotel only and now would like to stay in this hotel in my next trip. Next week in Manchester citycenter after the trip to Old Strafford.

The hotel itself was fine, aside from the lack of bottled water, luggage racks, and absolutely no toiletries – everything else was normal. However, their parking lot is a huge problem. Firstly, guests aren't told in advance that parking requires a reservation. Secondly, I'm not sure if their drop-off point is only for disabled people or what, but there's a 'no entry' sign at what looks like a drop-off entrance. Thirdly, even if you don't have a reservation and the car park is fully booked, the gate will still open. But if you don't pay 60 pounds, the car park attendant will make it difficult for you to leave, even if the hotel reception has already entered your license plate to give you 1 or 4 hours free and told you to move your car to an open-air car park about a 15-minute walk away. In the end, several guests were in the same situation, blocking the car park exit. The first guest had to go back to the hotel to grab a receptionist and bring them to the car park entrance to negotiate with the car park staff for half an hour before they finally opened the gate and let people leave.

My stay was very enjoyable. A spacious room with a comfortable bed with all your needed amenities in the room. Price was reasonable over New Year’s Eve / New Years Day. We had a room overlooking the main road but the rooms on the other side overlook the quay which is a good walk for anyone visiting Manchester.

I booked a single room for my family for one night before their flight back home the next day. They gave really good feedback, saying it was clean and hygienic. It's also very close to the train station, as well as T2 and T3 terminals. A simple breakfast was included.

The hotel was pretty good. I stayed here during a layover and went to the city center for a bit. It's a bit of a distance from downtown, about a 20-minute train ride. The front desk staff upon check-in was very polite and articulate, which was nice. The hotel is very clean, and there's a restaurant on the first floor with fair prices!

The location is a bit hidden, with no clear signs, and the name didn't match what I booked. I reserved a 4-person mixed dorm, which was clean and had an attached bathroom with a shower! There are plenty of places to eat and lots of bars nearby, but it can get quite noisy at night, so it might not be suitable for light sleepers. The front desk staff was a lovely lady who spoke English and Spanish. **Note: The hostel entrance is pictured in photo 1 – remember that!**

Stayed at this hotel previously when it was ibis styles. The location is perfect and look and feel is similar to when it was previously owned. We had an issue proving we had late check out even thought this had been pre-booked and should have been on record. The room are becoming quite worn even though still modern. There was constant standing water on the bathroom floor coming from wall times under the shower and the carpet in the room at the door was really damp giving off a smell. The shower was very cold on the first day and even when the hot water did come on the second use it still wasn’t very warm. Overall the standard was poor and had dropped from the previous visit so wouldn’t be staying here again.
