The hotel location is ideal within the grounds of Old Trafford cricket ground and not too far from the motorway and was easy to find. Car parking was free which is excellent for being close to a city centre. The check in staff were helpful and the room was clean and moder with sufficient storage. The price to upgrade breakfast was reasonable. The downsides were the cooked breakfast didn't taste great, sausages and bacon weren't great quality and I've had tastier hash browns in other hotels. Choice is fine though fairly limited and fresh fruit didn't look appealing. Pastries were good though, especially pecan twist. I could not get the wifi to work the whole time I was there, (even with a Hilton Honours account) and phoned Reception and they said to keep trying and it would connect, but it didn't. The person at checkout eventually managed to sort it, but was too late by then. The view from my room was unfortunately literally a building sit (though at breakfast you do get an excellent view of the stadium in the restaurant. You can hear the trains at night but only softly. The shower was not very powerful and is a movable hose so kept moving at an angle even when in free standing mode. .Overall, a reasonably good stay, but would expect more from a Hilton.

Location was rather far from the Piccadilly train station — 15 min walk, (contrary to what others mentioned) so it’s a little inconvenient for those dragging a large suit case. They gave me an accessibility room at the start but I managed to change it due to the help of the lovely blond counter staff! There was a male staff who was extremely nice during check out as well. Staff deserve a 10/10! The room was nice — bed was large, room was spacious and clean. Only gripe was the small window which made the room feel a little stuffy. Room comes with a small fridge, iron and the bare toiletries. No slippers, toothbrushes! Overall, must better experience compared to their other branch at Manchester central (although I must say that that branch is more central compared to the Piccadilly outlet; public transport and food options wise), especially in terms of their staff. Would stay again but only if I’m out of more convenient options in Manchester.

Had a great stay, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Location was excellent and very convenient, as the hotel is just across the road from Manchester Piccadilly train station. The reception staff were also friendly and helpful, and even gave us recommendations on the Christmas markets that were ongoing in the city!

Our stay was great, the amenities and resources provided work exactly as they should, the bed was comfortable, however my fiancée (who is a cleaner herself) noticed that areas of the kitchen appliances had collected quite a bit of dust. The location of the hotel is great, just a short walk away from Manchester Piccadilly itself. Other than certain aspects of cleanliness, the rest was spot on and the stay was great.

Close to the Arndale and Print works. Room was ok, View wasnt great , overlooking the abandoned church carpark filled with rubbish, but it was quiet. Stains on carpet and walls, which i would not expect from a 4star hotel. Bathroom was nice, bit of mould on bottom of shower screen. Breakfast was good with a good selection of GF for my husband. I would definitely stay again for the right price.

The hotel is in a good location near the centre with good transpprt links to Piccadilly, the reception and breakfast areas are nice and spacious and therr's room to chill as well, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The room is comfy and clean, the shower is spacious and the bed is soft and there's a nice tv as well. Internet is very fast. The breakfsst is also tasty and plentiful and it's only £ 8. It was a pleasant stay for a budget hotel, I would recommend it.

An older building, but quite grand. It's in a lively, bustling area, yet surprisingly quiet at night (though the creaky hallway floors were a bit annoying). Dining, shopping, and transportation are all super convenient. The room wasn't huge, but perfectly adequate for me as I didn't have much luggage, so there was enough space. It had both a bathtub and a shower, with good water temperature and strong water pressure. Excellent service and a clean room. Breakfast was an extra charge, offering both Continental and English options, and it was quite tasty. The restaurant staff were outstanding, very attentive, and service was quick. Overall, a good experience and highly recommended!

Plus: under 10 minute walk to Manchester Piccadilly train station. Convenient location with bus stops right outside the hotel. Check in was really easy. Outside of hotel looks right out of an old movie, really pretty — plus the corridor on entry. See attached photos. Cons: the room is dated, expected for an old hotel. You get what you pay for I guess. The most terrible thing was the extra blanket they provided smelled really bad - like a wet carpet or dog that has dried up on its own and retained that most terrible smell. I slept without the blanket and chose to get cold rather because of that smell.
