The room was very spacious, with a large bed and a sofa bed separated by a wall, creating two distinct areas. It had large floor-to-ceiling windows, directly facing a beautiful church building across the road. The bathroom was also very roomy, with both a shower and a bathtub, each in its own independent space. The bathroom also had a heated towel rail, which was very convenient for drying clothes overnight. Breakfast was quite extensive, offering various breads, fried eggs, roasted tomatoes, green salads, and drinks like different coffees, juices, and hot milk. It was a full English breakfast, and staff would assign you a table. I even forgot to take photos!

Great hotel located just a 3 min walk from Manchester Picadilly Stn. Arriving into the room I was delighted at the size of the room and bathroom. Room came equipped with a small table, sofa and two soft chairs similar to what would be called a Jnr Suite in the US. Breakfast buffet at 15 Gbp was great value and top marks for providing individual pots of yogurt in lieu of the trendy open yogurts pans that very few people use due to health concerns. Big shout out to Mathew on the front desk who managed to get me into a room prior to the formal check in time which was greatly greatly appreciated after an overnight flight from Asia. Enjoy your stay!

My rating: 7/10 Overall, I would rate this hotel 7 out of 10. There were many things I really liked, but there are also a few areas that could be improved. The first thing that impressed me was the lobby. It looks modern, stylish, and very welcoming. The seating area near the bar is beautiful, with comfortable sofas where you can relax or wait if you have a train to catch. The dining area is also lovely, with a modern and pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. It was served as a buffet with a great variety of food. There were crispy potatoes, scrambled eggs and fried eggs, grilled tomatoes, baked beans, sausages, bacon, fresh vegetables, different juices, and a coffee machine with several coffee options. There were also cereals with yogurt, jams, chocolate pastries, Nutella, toast, sliced cheese, and a selection of cold meats. There was plenty of choice, and everything was very enjoyable. The lift was also very impressive. It looked elegant, modern, and gave the hotel a luxurious feel. Our room was clean and comfortable. The white bed linen looked fresh, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable, so we slept well. The bathroom was modern, spacious, and very practical. We also appreciated having tea, coffee, sugar, cream, and a kettle in the room. However, there were a few things that could be improved. We travelled as a family of three, and there wasn't enough storage space for our clothes. A proper wardrobe with shelves would make a big difference. Only I could unpack my things, while my children had to keep theirs in their backpacks. Another issue was that the window could not be opened. Without the air conditioning running, the room felt stuffy. The kettle also didn't switch off automatically after boiling, so it should definitely be checked or replaced. If I could suggest improvements, I would add a small coffee machine, such as a Dolce Gusto or similar, with enough coffee pods for the number of guests and the length of their stay. I think many people would really appreciate that. It would also be helpful to have a separate entrance or easier access for wheelchair users, as the revolving entrance door may not be convenient for everyone. In addition, a secure place to store bicycles would be a great feature for guests travelling by bike. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a beautiful design, excellent breakfast, comfortable beds, and a lovely atmosphere. With a few improvements, it could easily become an even better place to stay.

I had a really good stay at YOTEL Manchester Deansgate. The hotel was clean, modern, and in a great location, making it easy to get around the city. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in was quick and hassle-free. My room was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

I stayed here alone for just one night. They offer free luggage storage both before check-in and after check-out, which was a huge plus! The shower and toilet were both spotlessly clean. My bed had a light and a USB charging port, and there was plenty of space for one person – I even had some luggage on it with no issues. The only minor inconvenience was occasionally bumping into the storage box located above my feet. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need, from a microwave and electric kettle to plates and cups, and it was all very clean. I didn't use the fridge, but it was there, and they even provided stickers so you could label your items!

Considering the price, which was a few hundred, and the room size, it wasn't bad. However, the standalone chair was quite dirty. Since I didn't have breakfast or use any other hotel services, to be fair, I gave four stars for everything else. Aside from the dirty chair, everything else was okay. The location is truly excellent. It's right by Oxford train station and Oxford Road, with plenty of supermarkets, Chinese supermarkets, Yang Guo Fu Malatang, Sichuan restaurants, hot pot places, and even Jiangzhehu-style noodle shops nearby. There's also a bus stop right outside the door.

First off, the hotel's location is superb – just 200 meters from the city center, truly in the heart of everything, and 200 meters from Chinatown. What's most surprising is the price, it feels like England ten years ago! I couldn't believe it was only around 300 [currency]. Other places would be over a thousand. I highly recommend it to my friends.

I’ve booked a room with a bathtub, and the staff designated a room without it. I can accept they could make a mistake, but the staff didn’t apologize for his mistake when I asked for a room change.

I first stayed here 19 years ago when it was around 500 RMB. Now, due to a game day and exchange rates, it's about 1000 RMB a night, so the value for money is a bit worse. The lobby and staircase have been renovated, losing some of their old-world charm. Pros: 1. Excellent security – they check everyone entering after 10 PM. 2. Great service – they took very good care of my luggage. 3. Good location.

The hotel was really easy to find, just around the corner from Starbucks! It was super noisy though! Really, really noisy! But the room itself was actually quite spacious. It even had a bathtub which was a nice bonus! However, the heating in the hotel was way too hot and made the air really dry. Plus, the front desk staff spoke a lot of what sounded like Indian English that I just couldn't understand, which led to me constantly having to say, ”Pardon me???”
