Location is convenient, about 10 mins walk from Oslo S. although it is in the direction nearer to the office buildings and away from the attractions. Breakfast spread is amazing and tastes good. Room and bathroom are spacious, bed is soft and comfortable. The only drawback is the amenities. There is no toothbrush provided, and I find the shampoo, conditioner, and hand wash a little too mild / diluted, would have preferred it to be thicker and foamier. Body soap is ok.

We stayed in the studio room for two nights. It's about 2km from the city center, but due to the uphill walk, it can take around 40 minutes on foot. There's a market open until 11 PM on the ground floor of the building. The room had kitchen equipment, but the lack of a kettle was a significant drawback. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the staff were helpful. Would we stay again? We'd prefer somewhere closer to the center.

The hotel's location is good and convenient. Although the room isn't large, it's clean and functional, which was acceptable. I arrived in Oslo a day early, excited for my Silver Sea Arctic cruise, and planned to extend my stay at the hotel for one night after the cruise. When checking in, I specifically mentioned that the cruise company had already booked a room for the following night and asked if I could stay in the same room to avoid switching. The receptionist checked and confirmed that they had specially arranged for me to stay in the same room, and I would just need to renew my key the next day. I was very pleased, thinking the hotel's service was thoughtful and human. However, the next morning when I went to the front desk to renew my key, I was told that if I wanted to continue my stay, I'd have to pay an additional 500 NOK! The hotel management's policy changed so suddenly; I believe their service greatly needs improvement. I also have an extended stay for one night on my return trip. I wonder if they'll try to make me switch rooms or upgrade then?! Very dissatisfied. Also, the bed wasn't very big, and the breakfast chef was very unfriendly.

The facilities, however, such as the sauna, shower & locker areas, pool and the gym, could use some updating and renovation. The hotel is also not very close to the city center, requiring about a 20 to 30 minute walk. Overall though, it was a good stay.

The room is quite big and enough for 3 people with 2 big and 1 small luggage. The location is perfect, only around 3 mins to the Oslo Central Station. Oslo was the last station in Norway in a nutshell, even though you take the night train from Myrdal to Oslo, you can immediately arrive the hotel. There're many convenience store and restaurant around. Besides, the lemonade welcome drink at lobby was so good ans fresh. The only one thing is no shower partition at toilet. But I think the toilet is big enough, so it was still okay. Overall, it's a really nice hotel and worth to stay.

The hotel is a bit old, but it's still very clean. The breakfast is fantastic, with a great variety of milks, chocolate milk, juices, and even brown goat cheese. The only downside is that I wouldn't recommend it if you're driving, as parking in the city center is really expensive. If you do drive, make sure to check in before 12 PM, as the hotel's contracted parking garage only allows entry before then.

I had a positive experience at Scandic Oslo hotel. The hotel is Situated in an excellent location close to the main landmarks of the city, close to public transportation, restaurants and shops. The room and common areas were decent and tidy. My room 302 was small but clean. All the room are well equipped with toiletries such as soap, shampoo and conditioner. Also hair dryer, lock and towels are available. There are no water bottles provided. Definitely I would recommend this hotel.

I had a very comfortable stay at Citybox. The check-in process was smooth and self-service, which made everything quick and easy.
