The hotel is in the perfect location, right on the Arno. I scored a room with a view of the river, with the Ponte Vecchio bridge to the right and Ponte Santa Trinità to the left. I could walk to all the museums and the Duomo and the train station. The breakfast buffet is pretty decent and the coffee strong. This was my first visit to Florence, and it was marvelous! I'll be back.

The hotel is beautiful. Location is great for tourists - quiet but not far from destinations. However, on the day of our arrival, we were given a room with smaller-size bed and accessible bathroom, without checking with us if this arrangement was okay. We felt the bed was smaller in size right away and went back to front desk to ask if this was the room type we booked. The lady insisted it was a regular room with a king-size bed. Later that day we found the accessible bathroom was not easy to use as water flooded out easily. Also the room was next to the elevator so a bit noisy during nighttime. We asked front desk again, and luckily the gentleman at the front desk at nighttime agreed to change a room for us the next day. We then realized the room given to us on the second day was the actual room type we booked, with king-size bed, a regular bathroom, a larger window and a desk. We understood accessible rooms is regulatory requirement, but we did not book accessible room, and it should be checked with guests at check-in if giving a different room type other than guests’ booking is ok, and should be a clarified if guests specifically ask about the correct room type. We ended up staying in the smaller room on the first night and moved to the correct room type on the second night. Thanks to the front desk staff who helped us changing to the regular room.

This hotel is super close to the train station, and there's a supermarket nearby, which is really convenient for shopping. It's an old, historic hotel with classic wooden furniture in the rooms and paintings from before 1900, giving it a very elegant feel. The breakfast spread is fantastic, and from the fifth-floor restaurant, you can see the Duomo! Plus, it's within walking distance to all the nearby attractions. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town.

I stayed at two hotels in Florence, and this one was a standard, convenient hotel. However, the room was too small, and the breakfast was very mediocre. I'd recommend the other guesthouse more, comparatively. Both are within a five-minute walk from the train station. The pros are the excellent location, right next to a small square opposite the train station, so I never felt unsafe coming back late. It's also very close to all the attractions; just turn right out of the door and walk down the alley to find the Central Market and the Duomo. There's even a Chinese restaurant and a bubble tea shop downstairs.

The room was a bit compact, ideal for a stopover. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was exclusively Western-style; the variety was decent, but not extensive.

It was close to the station, but the elevator was incredibly old. Overall, the structure is old, so if you are interested, we recommend that you do not stay. It was a double bed room, but it was the best size to spread the suitcase 1. The water area was clean, but there was a time when the hot water in the shower did not come out. The hotel repaired it, and after about 2 hours, hot water was available. The key is a very old type and requires a knack to open and close. In the morning, when I tried to open the key, I didn't open it 々 and it took about 5 minutes. The trick to unlock is to lock deeply, lift a little up, and turn it. Have a good trip, everyone. Grazie!

Overall, the location is pretty good, about a 20-minute walk from Florence Cathedral. As for value for money, I suppose it depends on whether it's peak or off-peak season. The owner must have upgraded me to a suite, which was much larger than expected, almost like a two-story villa. The hotel garden is beautiful, with birds chirping and flowers blooming every morning. The facilities are average, but perfectly adequate. If I get the chance to visit Florence again, I'd be happy to choose this hotel.

I think it's great, but there are more bugs in this weather. But they all follow the light, so in fact, as long as you turn on the bathroom light and turn off the bedroom light, your bedroom will be quite quiet. Highly recommended. The location is super good. You won't waste a lot of time on transportation. The attractions are very close. Remember to leave your mobile number if you use WhatsApp, otherwise you won't be able to contact. The location is on the third floor of the address. You can take the small elevator up. They will use WhatsApp to send check-in information and access code

It is a budget hotel. Cheap in price (including a breakfast). The room was newly renovated except for the air conditioning unit (even it is turned off, you can hear a “boiling” noise). Nonetheless, I was able to sleep well. Hoping to be back next time!
