Great location. Walking distance to most turistic objectives. Very clean hotel. Great services. Breakfast is the same every day. We stayed for a week and a change in the menu would have been great. Limited space for the clothes. There is no drawer. The room was small but this was not an inconvenience as we were gone all day.

Very disappointing experience. We arrived at the hotel at around 12:45 with our family and an exhausted child and asked whether it might be possible to access our room a little earlier if it was available. We fully understand that the official check-in time is 3:00 PM. However, the hotel knew that we had been sitting in the lobby waiting for almost two hours with a very tired child, yet no effort seemed to be made to prioritise our room or find any solution for us. What made the situation particularly disappointing was the complete lack of flexibility or consideration. We were not demanding something unreasonable; we were simply asking whether, given the circumstances, the room could be made available slightly earlier. We were also going to check out very early in the morning, meaning that we would not even benefit from the official check-out time until 12:00 noon. For a hotel of this standard, I expected a much more welcoming and customer-oriented approach. Small gestures and a little flexibility can make a significant difference to a guest’s experience, particularly for a family travelling with a tired child. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled left us feeling that there was very little interest in helping us or making our arrival more comfortable. On top of that the room wasn't fully clean. I insert a photo.

This place was honestly a solid find. The room was super comfortable and it was clean. The lobby has this really nice, open feel with great interior design, so just hanging out there for a few minutes was a vibe. And the views outside the hotel are lovely, especially around sunset. There's a train station across the river, and a supermarket just a 10-minute walk away. Super convenient for grabbing snacks, drinks, or anything you forgot to pack. Overall, it's a chill, no-drama stay. Comfy, clean, nice views, and practical. Would definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment. The space is impressively large, impeccably clean, and comes fully equipped with everything you could possibly need — from a well-stocked kitchen to comfortable, thoughtfully arranged living areas. Nothing felt missing or improvised; you could tell great care went into making it a complete and functional home. The location is simply unbeatable. Centrally situated yet tucked away in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood, you get the best of both worlds: easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport, without any of the noise or chaos you’d expect from a central address. We traveled with our young children and it was an ideal setup for a family. The apartment offers plenty of room for kids to move around safely, and the calm surroundings meant peaceful evenings and restful nights — something every parent traveling with little ones will truly appreciate. Whether you’re visiting as a couple, a group of friends, or a family with small children, this apartment ticks every single box. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, well-located, and comfortable stay. A true 5-star experience from start to finish.

Location is excellent and hotel is modern with good amenities. But their staff service isn't very friendly and sounded impatient. This hotel doesn't clean your room everyday, and they mentioned it's only every three days. When we reminded them on the designated day, they said it's automatic on their schedule. But when we returned to our room end of day, it wasn't cleaned. The next day they came to clean and on the day we are checking out, their housekeeping staff came to asked if we want to clean. So, I don't think they have a good system of tracking.

The price is very convenient, especially considering the central location and if you are traveling solo. The structure is well organized and functional. I appreciated the bathroom concept - even though it’s shared, you have your own individual space, which gives you privacy and comfort. I stayed for 6 nights and always found the bathrooms to be very clean. It was also surprisingly quiet. I was able to sleep well every night. For more sensitive sleepers, they even provide earplugs. Overall, a good option if you’re looking for an affordable, clean, and well structured place to stay in Berlin.

It's cheap, clean, and in a good location. The reception staff were also very polite. However, the elevator stops on the stair landing, which might be inconvenient for people with heavy luggage. Also, the walls are thin, so you can hear voices from the hallway. There are plenty of bath towels, but you'll need to bring your own shampoo and body wash.

It is very comfortable hotel. The room was not so much expensive, but the staff was really kind and amiable — they answered all my questions and explained everything about my stay in details. Despite the fact that rooms had no personal bathroom, it haven’t caused me much inconvenience. Toilet room was clean, showers too. There were no queues for using them. Personal sink in room was really convenient to use. Bed in room was clean and warm, I liked the view from the window of the quiet street. Thanks a lot, I hope I will be able to visit Berlin and stay in this hotel again!

This place is a bit far from the center of Berlin, but it seems to be a safe and, according to locals, affluent area. There isn't staff on-site all the time, but I was able to check in via internet call. The showers are shared between men and women, which is common in Germany, but there seems to be a separate women's shower room, so effectively they are separated. Both the showers and toilets were clean; I had no issues with them. However, since it's on the ground floor and faces the street, I occasionally heard voices, footsteps, and smelled cigarette smoke from outside, but that's to be expected. I'd likely stay here again on my next trip to Berlin!

Heart of Gold Hostel Berlin was extremely easy to find upon my arrival to Berlin Station. Immediately upon entering I could tell that this hostel had a certain kind of relaxed vibe to it. Not bad. If you arrive early and want to lock your bags but don't own a lock, you can rent one for a 10€ deposit. Check-in also requires a 10€ deposit. Both can be paid woth cash or card but when they return it upon departure, they will only give it back as cash. I was assigned a capsule on the first level and first thing I encountered was a guy walking in hit Itty bitty skivvies. Um, ok I guess. Again, relaxed vibe. The capsule was okay only with the door open. Close it ans it's like you're in a coffin. Hot, hot, hot, and very little air circulation. I brought that to the attention of thr front desk staff and later a guy told me that ”the motor is running” so the fan is working. I took video... the motor may be heard but it def was not working. Felt like I was sweating buckets on night 2. Glad I didn't stay an extra night. Bathroom were relatively clean, byr toilet paper was not always installed. Also, ask for a towel if needed b'c it's not automatically offered. Breakfast is 10€ and was mainly vegan. Was not worth the cost imo. Anyhow... most staff were chill. Just don't like the low effort that was put in for checking about the fan in my capsule. There is no point in booking a capsule if you need to keep the door to it open to breathe. Anyhow... of that issue was fixed, I would stay again.
