I had a great stay at this hotel. The service was warm and attentive. I forgot to bring USB chargers, and the staff proactively lent me two. All my requests were responded to promptly. The location is unbeatable, just next to Berlin Central Station, making it extremely easy to travel around the city. Definitely recommend.

The hotel experience was really, really good. For a big city like Berlin, it was only around 100 euros or less per night. While it might be a bit small for two people, it was perfectly sufficient.

Comfy bed, pleasant room and en suite and everything clean and working, including aircon. Reception printed our boarding cards for us and also allowed us to leave our luggage for later collection on our last day. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but instead found a bakery/cafe opposite Spittelmarkt U-Bahn station. Very convenient location for Museum Island; 20-30 minutes walking distance for Alexanderplatz, Brandenburg Gate, and many others.

The bed in this room category was incredibly soft. I suspect it's quite old, as I just sank into it completely, offering absolutely no proper support. I had a terribly uncomfortable night and barely slept at all. I had expected the bedding to be similar to the Marriott in Copenhagen, but this particular bed at the German Marriott was surprisingly uncomfortable. It was nowhere near as comfortable as the twin room I stayed in the following day.

We had a lovely stay. The location is great, right by the tram and S-Bahn. The bar on the 14th floor has an amazing view. The bar team is very dedicated and creates fantastic drinks. Breakfast is standard, good enough for a 3-day stay. Parking costs €25 per night. The 24-hour kiosk on the ground floor is a good idea. However, where's the discount for customers for the lack of service? I'd rather get my beer at the bar; it's the same price, but at least you get service there. Otherwise, we'd be happy to come back.

The hotel's location is perfect. It's right around the corner from the south exit of Berlin Central Station. The first building you see is HUAZHU's European flagship, and the Intercity Hotel is the building right after that. You can even see it from the train, and the hotel has views of the station, which is a huge plus. Berlin Station's transport can be a bit complicated, so it's a great choice if you're new to the city. The room itself was fine – basic facilities, clean, and a bit business-oriented. My main issue was with the staff's very average attitude (hard to rate, honestly). They don't offer luggage storage themselves; you have to use a third-party locker service within the hotel, which is extremely expensive. A large locker costs €14 per day, completely messing up my plans for exploring after check-out. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel for day-trippers. Sometimes, the price difference between this hotel and the five-star one next door is only a small amount, so why wouldn't you choose the other? I can't think of a reason to stay here again. This is also the first time I've encountered a hotel in Europe/abroad that doesn't offer luggage storage. If this had been made clear before booking, I wouldn't have reserved a room.

The hotel was generally nice, given its price and location, but the stuff on the reception was quite rude at the day of our check-in — it was really uncomfortable to communicate with a person who looked forward to shortchange us, because previously in our communication with the hotel there was one price for early check-in, while at the counter it actually doubled. And, obviously, we got a room with not such a nice view as could be seen in the hotel’s photos — just lots of rooftops. Overall, the stuff was unprofessional, despite a gentleman at the check-out was pretty welcoming. About the other points, the cleaning was great, there was a huge bed and a nice bathtub. However, what was confusing is the fact that AC did not work either at the whole time of our stay, which is a common problem, judging by the reviews. Breakfast was good, a wide variety of options, including vegetarian ones.

Facilities: The hotel is quite new, and has everything I needed for my solo trip. Hygiene: Full marks for cleanliness, small but spotless. Environment: Although it's a bit far from the city center, its convenient transportation makes up for it. The train station is just across the street, and there's also a supermarket nearby. Service: The service was just so-so, but luckily the front desk staff spoke good English, making communication smooth.

Had a great stay here! The room is spacious, clean and modern with all the comforts you need. There is luggage lockers, laundry and common area on the ground floor making it suitable for all types of travellers. The building is very secure and has an inviting vibe from the moment you walk in. I would recommend completing the guest information via the Hotel Bird app before you arrive to ensure check in is easy. The hotel emails you a great information pack on the first day about using the amenities which is really helpful. It is close to the train station, eateries, supermarket and pharmacy so you have access to everything you may need. However, if you are looking for nightlife in Berlin this is not the right area to stay as there is not a lot going on. The only two pieces of feedback would be the comforters felt a little dusty and there was some dust under the bed as well. The english instructions to use the laundry could be clearer.

The place is quiet and the staff are nice too. Our room is clean and heater is working good. However it is a bit far from the main train station 700m especially pulling 3 big luggages with us. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay and able to get our groceries and food from nearby supermarkets for our dinner.
