The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Union Square and the cable car, with very few homeless people around. It's super convenient for getting in and out. The Japanese-style breakfast is light and not greasy. The facilities are good, the room is spacious, and it feels clean and safe. My only complaint is that I was already struggling with jet lag and lack of sleep, and then the room alarm went off in the early hours of the morning, which was incredibly annoying. It shows a clear lack of attention to detail in the hotel's management.

The location is absolutely superb, right in the heart of the city. Union Square is just a right turn out of the hotel entrance, and the cable car terminus is only a few minutes' walk away. Dining options are abundant and convenient nearby, and Chinatown is also within easy walking distance. Overall, the hotel is pretty decent. The only downsides were the slightly small room and weak shower pressure. I also paid an extra $20 for early check-in, even though it was already past 12 PM. Guests staying at the hotel receive discount vouchers for dining at the hotel restaurant, which was a nice perk. The room offered an unbeatable view. Overall, it's worth recommending.

The environment is great and very comfortable, and the location is good too. The room hygiene is also satisfactory. The hotel's food is decent, and the service is excellent. My only complaint is that the Ctrip price seems higher than other platforms, which I don't understand at all. I wonder if it's a case of price gouging for regular customers.

The hotel is in a great location, right near Union Square. If you like walking, you can practically reach all the downtown attractions on foot from here. Interestingly, when you enter through the side door of the hotel, there's a cable car parked inside – I'm not sure if it's for display or still operational, but I did take a ride on a cable car at a station near the hotel later. Inside the room, beyond the towels and large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, there was nothing else. Not even a disposable shower cap. There was no complimentary bottled water either. While there was a capsule coffee machine, there was no kettle, so I had to ask the housekeeper for one. The bar on the 46th floor has fantastic views; it's a great spot for a drink and to enjoy San Francisco at night. I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but I'm sure it's nice too.

We were very happy with our stay. This was our first time in San Francisco, traveling with 3 teenagers. We were able to book 2 adjoining rooms for a decent price. Having the extra space was very helpful. Location wise was perfect for us - we were able to walk to the Giants game, Chinatown, the Ferry Building, Pier 39 (but that was a hike and we took an uber back) and the trolley system. Service was quick and helpful when we needed it. And the extra security at night was reassuring. We would recommend this hotel for adults and families with older kids.

Our stay at Nob Hill Hotel was unexpectedly great. Although it’s a little far from Union Square, the walk was very tolerable. What really stood out was the free unlimited water and coffee available 24/7, which was a huge plus. The hotel also has a very unique lift and a charming, distinctive style that added character to our stay. Overall, a pleasant surprise and a comfortable experience. We would also like to commend the helpfulness of Emmanuel, who assisted us during our stay. He is very kind and accommodating, and his warm service truly made our experience even better. We will definitely come back and even cancelled our other hotel booking so we can return again after our visit here in Hollywood.

Honestly, it's 2026, and a hotel room without a mini-fridge is just baffling. I even went down to the front desk to double-check if the room really didn't have one. Also, if you booked through a third-party platform, *definitely* avoid their online check-in! It requires linking a credit card, and if the card you link isn't the same one you used to pay on the third-party site, their system isn't smart enough to recognize that you've already paid. So, I ended up being charged an extra room fee of almost $500. While I eventually got a refund after contacting the hotel, because it wasn't a US credit card, there were currency exchange issues. I then had to contact the platform's customer service to resolve it, which was a real hassle. My advice is: if you can avoid it, do. Just treat yourself as a regular guest, and let the front desk handle your check-in when you arrive at the hotel. There's no need to try and be clever by checking in yourself beforehand.

I had read reviews beforehand, so I had somewhat anticipated it, but because the hotel is located in the Tenderloin district, there were homeless people and zombies on the west side of the hotel. Because of this, the hotel doors were locked during the day, and I was troubled on the first day because there was no explanation on how to unlock them. The hotel had been renovated, and the rooms were clean. The internet TV was state-of-the-art. You needed to enter the Wi-Fi password. It was good to be able to stay at a reasonable price for a hotel in the downtown area.

Hotel location is very good, the street is a bit noisy at night, there is a small youth in the room, a group of people singing and noisy for one night, non-contact check-in is not very good, when I went to the front desk, I got off work, my mobile phone number was wrong, and I waited for more than an hour. Also found that there are cockroaches in the room. The customer service of the platform is very responsible and has been helping to contact. It is still very helpful to book hotels and air tickets on the domestic platform when going abroad.
