Prices can vary significantly during peak travel periods such as summer, Easter or major events, so planning ahead can make a difference.

To optimise your budget, it is recommended to:

  • compare prices across different travel dates, as rates can vary significantly depending on demand
  • book in advance for popular periods, or check last-minute deals for more flexible trips
  • use filters to set a maximum price per night and quickly identify the best options
  • prioritise well-rated hotels that offer good value for money rather than simply the lowest price
  • check options such as free cancellation or breakfast included to avoid extra costs

Hotels in Rome city centre cover a wide range of budgets, from small guesthouses and budget hotels in historic buildings to more comfortable hotels near main squares and landmarks, making it possible to find options suited to different travel styles.

The location is excellent, right in front of the subway exit, and there's a bus stop directly outside (so people tend to gather there). There's a supermarket next door, and most attractions are within walking distance (though it's quite tiring, so cycling is more convenient). It's very easy to get to the Vatican and the Colosseum by subway. The front desk service was fantastic – warm and proactive. Even before checking in early in the morning, they invited us to slow down with a coffee (the best cappuccino I had in Rome!). We left early most days and didn't get to properly sit down for breakfast. On our check-out day, it was also too early for breakfast, but they still provided us with coffee and bread. Luggage storage was very convenient. The room wasn't large, and the air conditioning was just okay. Slippers were provided. The window overlooked an attraction, so it was a bit sunny. There's a cinema next door, which could occasionally be noisy at night, but the door insulation was good, so I couldn't hear any corridor sounds. The shower was incredibly powerful! The water pressure was strong and very comfortable!!! This was absolutely perfect!

About a 10-minute walk from Termini Station, it feels generally quite safe. However, this was the only hotel in Italy out of all the ones I stayed at where you didn't need to swipe a card to use the elevator. The front desk staff were very nice; I arrived past 12 PM, and I was ready to just store my luggage, but the front desk proactively told me my room was already ready. When we left, they also allowed us to check out two hours late. When checking out, they asked if I was willing to leave a tip, and since the staff were so nice, I agreed to give 10 Euros.

I like the city of Rome very much. The cultural heritage is deep. The hotel is near the People's Square. The surrounding area is very full of the life of Roman residents. Everyone will sit at the monument of the square and listen to the singing of the people singing. The front desk brother of the hotel was very enthusiastic to help us carry our luggage, and the cleaning sister was also very friendly. The bed and quilt in the room are IKEA and it is very comfortable to sleep.

This hotel is close to Termini Station, about a 6-7 minute walk. **Accessibility:** It's a 6-minute walk from the station, making it easy to get to the Vatican and Colosseum. **Service:** The staff were friendly, but I had booked a twin room and was initially given a double. I had to go to the front desk to get it changed. **Cleanliness:** Everything was satisfactory, including the bed sheets. **Facilities:** The room itself was decent, but the shower stall was too small, making it difficult to move around. Also, the showerhead was facing the wrong direction.

It’s very safe here with an excellent access control system. Mike is really nice, professional and highly experienced. You can always go to him if you have any issues. Highly recommended. The place is cleaned very regularly and thoroughly. The terrace has a great view — I even cooked there. Everything is convenient. Thank you!

Overall, it was a good stay, including the location and the staff's service. However, the hot water pressure in the shower was unstable; sometimes no hot water came out at all, or it took an unusually long time for the hot water to start flowing. Because of this, I had to keep a tiny trickle of hot water running throughout my shower, which was a bit of a hassle to manage.

The staff were very friendly. Depending on where your room is, it’s a little confusing to get to as it’s in annex? But it was a good location right next to the station. I did have a small bit of mold in the fridge though. I do wish that the room came with a kettle or something so that you could eat. Other than that it was a private place to stay, small but not uncomfortably small.

The room was quite spacious and matched the pictures online, with a double bed. If you're taking the airport shuttle bus, you just walk straight for about 150 meters after getting off, then turn left, and you're there. Turning left when you exit puts you right in front of the train station. The elevator is quite old-fashioned. It seems I actually stayed in a room belonging to the hotel next door, and I'm not sure how they differentiate between them.
