Prices can vary during peak periods such as football matches, major concerts or events, so planning ahead can help secure better deals.

To optimise your budget, it is recommended to:

  • book in advance for popular periods, or check last-minute deals for more flexible trips
  • use filters to set a maximum price per night and quickly identify the best options
  • prioritise well-rated hotels that offer good value for money rather than simply the lowest price
  • check options such as free cancellation or breakfast included to avoid extra costs

Good location, lovely staff, very accommodating. Comfortable bed in a nicely decorated room. The only issue we have is that the cleaning products are highly scented and both me and my husband are sensitive to anything perfumed. So on the morning we were bunged up and with the windows not opening made it even worse. This is the first time we have noticed the highly scented chemicals and we have stayed in many hotels. I thought it would be best to be honest because there are people who have allergies that could stop them from staying at your hotels. Views from hotel corridor window showing how close you are to focal points of interest.

It was an excellent stay. The hotel is located in an oasis of calm. The studio was lovely all the utensils were clean and the dishwasher as a 30 min setting so easy to clear up. Bed is super comfortable had the best nights sleep. Would definitely stay at a Staybridge again. It was also near the waterfront music venue - we could to listen to a fews concerts for free from the outside . The river Mersey was also 2 min walk away with a stunning sunset

Really comfy bed, plenty of pillows, complimentary slippers and robes. No air con (our trip was in the heatwave and it was 33 degrees) but a big fan. Went into the restaurant (seven seas? Seven Sisters?), waited awhile but wasn’t acknowledged, so left and went to the castaway bar for food instead. Location was fab! We were going to a gig at Anfield, took 45 mins to walk back. Reception staff were lovely and helpful

Excellent location and a very spacious room. Theres a gym too. The service provided by the lady who checked us in was bad. She didn’t brief us on anything at all. Just processed it. Later that day, we sat at the cafe and noticed another Recep lady briefing a couple she was helping to check in. Talking about the gym, laundry area, nearest Tesco etc. On the first day at about 6 pm, I noticed my room was still cold and called the Recep. Unfortunately the same lady who checked me in earlier answered the phone. She just gave vague directions on how to on the aircon and I told her I already did that for hours and adjusted the temp to 26 but it was still freezing cold. She didn’t bother to help further even when I called two more time. Later at about 1 am, I woke up freezing cold and called the Recep. This time a guy answered and readily said he will come and check the air con for me when I told him the earlier gal didn’t help at all. When he came up, he realised that the aircon was on AC and not heating mode. And reset it for me. Thank God for him. Learnt from my phone that the temp was 4 deg that night due to some cold front and rain. I had suffered 6.7 hours of freezing cold because of the laziness of the other lady earlier. Not happy about it. Very unprofessional and unbecoming of service staff.

Location is great, practically the same building as the Beatles Story museum. Museum can be seen right outside the window. But need to walk a bit to other attractions like Mathew Street, Beatle's statue, Liverpool museum etc. Huge Harry Potter shop downstairs. Free breakfast provided. Cool hotel room brick ceiling. Parking is not bad, there are 2 parking options, one downstairs directly (slightly more expensive) and one at a stadium 5mins walk away (cheaper).

Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and clean, and it came with a kettle and coffee. The location is incredibly convenient, not only close to the docks – perfect for an evening stroll after dinner – but also right next to James Street Station, which makes it super easy to visit nearby cities like Chester. This hotel offers great value for money. If I had to mention any downsides: there's no breakfast, and both elevators were out of order during checkout. I had to walk down from the 5th floor, but thankfully I didn't have much luggage.

Pleasantly surprised. Felt a little dated walking the corridors to my room. Once inside the room felt great, secure, ac, comfy bed, excellent location and I mean exceptional. It’s not the best hotel out there, but wins hands down for price, location, lovely staff. It’s really good ! I’d stay here again. Loved it !

The hotel was really lovely. Most of the time we were greeted with friendliness. It was very clean and tidy. We changed our room from a twin to a double and there were no issues with that. I was disappointed that the spa leisure facilities were closed as it was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. Some of the decor is a bit dated but there are some lovely period features that enhance the hotels ambiance. A very good location for anyone arriving into Liverpool Lime Street.

Wifi is not available and there is a problem with the connection, which is the only disadvantage. The transportation is super convenient, and the breakfast package is a major feature. Opposite the train station and subway station.
