The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the pier, tram, and subway, about a 7-8 minute walk, which also helps avoid noisy environments. The service staff are quite good, and you can get drinking water yourself in the hotel lobby. However, the bathroom sink is a disaster; when you wash your hands or face, water instantly splashes all over the counter. The shower drain is extremely slow; halfway through washing your hair, your feet are already submerged. You have to ask for toothbrushes; they're not provided automatically. Furthermore, the quality of the shampoo, conditioner, and toothpaste is very poor, leaving hair dry and brittle after washing. This aspect is incomparable to the amenities provided in domestic 5-star hotels. I recommend bringing your own or buying better products.

The views, both day and night, are picture-perfect and incredibly romantic! 🌟 Convenient Transportation: Just a 3-minute walk downstairs to Circular Quay ferry terminal and train station, making it super easy to get anywhere. There are also tons of attractions surrounding the area. 🌟 Attentive Service: The hotel staff are very professional and welcoming, and room service is highly efficient. 💬 A Little Tip: If your budget allows, definitely go for a harbor view room; the experience is truly a world apart!

The front desk had a lovely staff member from Taiwan who understood Chinese. They kindly upgraded us to an executive floor free of charge, as per our reservation request, which we really appreciated. However, the hotel breakfast wasn't great value for money. For two people at AUD 100, only the omelette was decent; the other buffet items and coffee were just average. Also, contrary to what was stated in the check-in policy, the hotel does require a deposit. They insisted on a pre-authorization of AUD 100 per night, which was unexpected. The parking policy displayed was also incorrect. Wilson Parking was AUD 85 per night, and while the hotel offered a discount of AUD 50, we still ended up paying AUD 35, not the advertised rate.

I had a fantastic stay at Pacific House Hostel in Sydney and can honestly say it was one of the highlights of my trip. The hostel has a great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and a real sense of community that makes you feel welcome from the first day. What truly sets Pacific House apart is the active social program they organize. The coastal walk along the beaches was absolutely amazing — stunning ocean views, fresh air, and great company. The walk across the bridge was another unforgettable experience with incredible views of Sydney Harbour and the Opera House. The picnics were also a highlight: beach barbecues with a relaxed vibe, good food, and lots of laughter, as well as simple but lovely sandwich picnics in the Botanical Garden — a perfect way to enjoy the city and meet new people. A huge thank you to the entire team for creating such a warm and fun environment. Special thanks to David from Poland, who ran many of the activities — his energy, friendliness, and great organization made a big difference and truly enhanced the experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants more than just a place to sleep, but a memorable stay full of activities, new friends, and great memories

The Shangri-La Hotel has a great location, right around the CBD, making it convenient for getting around and finding food. I especially want to commend Jocelyn; she was incredibly warm and thoughtful. We arrived at the hotel a little after 9 AM, and she offered us an upgraded room for a small fee. Not only did it have a great view, but we could check in immediately. For us, tired from our journey, it was a real godsend.

I booked this hotel for the sea view, and I was absolutely stunned the moment I drew back the curtains – it was breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel is located in North Sydney, so you need to take a train to get to the city. However, it's only about 100 meters from the station, making it super convenient to get anywhere; Circular Quay is just two stops away. One thing to note is that it gets very noisy when trains pass by, to the point I thought it was an earthquake! But honestly, I was so exhausted from sightseeing every day that it never affected my sleep. There's also a Coles supermarket about 200 meters from the hotel, which is handy for groceries. This area isn't touristy at all; it's mostly office buildings and commuters, so it feels very safe.

Large room with area for making drinks with kettle and large fridge. We had a corner room on 15th floor with floor to ceiling windows and view of Milson Park, the marina there and part of the harbour (could see harbour ferries and cruise ships). We did a nice walk to this park and marina and back. Located in biz district of North Sydney, 5 mins walk to metro or North Sydney rail station, about 20mins trip to Central. Nice restaurants around plus food shops if you want basics for breakfast, drinks, snacks etc. We didn't eat in hotel. Brilliant self servive laundry facilities in hotel - just over $6 for large wash or dry. Ironing kit and hairdryer in room. Small book swap in reception. Gym and lounge area for relaxing or working away from room. Random penguins on glass in lifts, made us smile!

I saw some Google reviews mentioning club noise, but we couldn't hear anything from our room (222)! (Though we might have just been too tired and slept soundly...💦) The shower and toilet were shared facilities. The location was fantastic, with cafes and a train station within walking distance, and it wasn't too strenuous a walk to the Opera House either~ (ꆧ⩊ꆧ )
