One thing to note is that the Wi-Fi requires you to refresh a website periodically, otherwise it keeps disconnecting. The staff were enthusiastic, and there were a few options for breakfast nearby.

I’ve stayed at St. Regis hotels in many countries, but this one is hands down the worst. It might just be that the general hospitality quality in Egypt is lower. Photos don't lie: Upon entering the room, I found a piece of used soap left in the shower. This is absolutely unacceptable for a luxury brand. Terrible service: The female chef at the egg station during breakfast was extremely rude—I’ve never experienced such an attitude at any hotel before. I reported this to a manager before leaving the restaurant, but there was no follow-up whatsoever. Unprofessional staff: Compared to other St. Regis properties, the staff here lack basic politeness. The Concierge was particularly unhelpful and provided inaccurate information. They recommended the hotel's Egyptian restaurant but failed to mention it only had outdoor seating. It was freezing cold, and there was no indoor option. After being sent back and forth between floors and being told the restaurant wasn't even open yet, we were finally tucked away in a buffet corner to eat. To top it off, the food was mediocre at best.

This is not my first time staying at a Brassbell hotel, and once again, it was an excellent experience. The studio apartment feels like a complete home – a truly wonderful option! The room is clean, pleasant, and literally has everything you could need: a large bed that provided a great night's sleep; clean, new bed linen and towels; slippers; a kettle; and a full set of dishes (not just mugs with saucers and spoons, but a complete collection – plates, forks, a set of knives, wine glasses, regular glasses, a frying pan, pots, and even a Cezve for coffee – amazing!). Additionally, there are separate packets of tea, coffee, and creamer; bottled water (only upon check-in, no refills); a hairdryer; an iron; a full-sized wardrobe; a small table and two armchairs; a TV; air conditioning; a sink for washing dishes with a filter tap; a stove for cooking; and a washing machine – I used it, and it works perfectly! There's even laundry detergent in a special packet and box. Before coming to Egypt, I stayed in a premium-level studio apartment in El Alamein, but even there, they didn't provide laundry detergent or a full set of dishes. This hotel, however, has it all. Thank you! Here's a tip: if you need to dry clothes, after washing them, hang them on hangers, then hang the hangers on the upper metal rail of the shower corner – voilà, everything dries perfectly :) Hot water with good pressure is consistently available. The shower includes shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The staff are friendly, and you can store your luggage after checking out. There are many cafes, restaurants, and shops near the hotel, and Tahrir Square and the old museum are within walking distance. There's nothing negative to mention, as this accommodation option is simply fantastic for Egypt! Especially for the price. Given the room's amenities, it feels like a 5-star hotel. Perhaps the only minor suggestion would be to add towel hooks. The staff are polite and pleasant; they helped me with calling a taxi (for some reason, taxis have trouble pulling up directly to the hotel entrance, so they need directions). Huge thanks for the magnificent living conditions! If I return to Cairo, I'll definitely stay here again. I wish the hotel prosperity, well-being, and decent, grateful guests!

It feels very secure, with two checkpoints to enter and exit, and you even need to swipe your card after getting off the elevator to go to your room. Breakfast was good, a typical 'Western' breakfast, which makes sense as most guests are European. The staff are also very friendly. The room was clean, not huge, but very well-appointed.

I was really satisfied with my stay at this hotel for my business trip. The transportation nearby is convenient, saving me time and effort getting to and from my meetings. The room was clean and bright, with stable internet, and the desk was very practical. Housekeeping cleaned daily and paid attention to the details. The staff were responsive, gentle, and polite. Everything was absolutely amazing, from the staff's service to the respectful atmosphere of the hotel. There was no rudeness whatsoever. The entire staff and reception were wonderful; they gave me the room I wanted and even an upgrade! The room was gorgeous and the breakfast was delicious. Everything was wonderful, until I discovered at checkout that €200 was missing from my wallet. Having never left the property, I can't help but doubt the staff. I walked away from my bag in the restaurant while choosing my dishes, and then at the pool. I'm very disappointed because it completely loses trust, and honestly, I don't believe in or recommend this place to anyone. I expected much more attention from the staff, but instead they simply told me that I might have put it somewhere in the room, but I never took the money out of my bag.

The hotel's main draw is its safety and expansive grounds; the gardens on a hillside are a rare green oasis in Cairo's often dusty environment. However, the hotel is undeniably old, and the facilities are quite dated. In the suite, one of the wall-mounted AC remote controls had its casing fall off. The breakfast selection was also limited. On the other hand, the hotel's decor, with its sculptures and murals, exudes a strong artistic vibe.
