Small but perfectly formed! I checked in smoothly at 3 PM, and the self-service machine made it super convenient. The service was great too. Haneda Airport is fantastic for exploring, and I even had some delicious unagi near the hotel. They provide toiletries like toothbrushes, which is a nice touch. For one person, the room size was just fine. The main selling point is definitely the convenience for Haneda, and it's excellent value for money. To transfer to T2, it's probably about a 20-minute walk or ride. Overall, it's a very handy place to stay for a layover. You just need to walk to the third image to almost reach the hotel – it's easy to find and affordable!

Very good hotel. I stayed there for 9 days and was satisfied with my stay. The rooms are typically small, but there is enough space to fully open a large suitcase. I lacked storage space, but there were hangers and a corner in the room where I could place my suitcase so it would not block the walkway. Overall, it was clean, although a bit dusty in some places. The hotel is not very new. The air conditioner and shower worked well, and there were no strange smells. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. I was checked in quickly, and upon departure they allowed me to leave my luggage in storage. The front desk provided extra towels without any issues, and if you don’t need any housekeeping, they give you a coupon for a free bottle of water. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It is a two minute walk from the nearest metro station, with several stations nearby offering direct routes to major tourist attractions. Also about a 30-minute walk to Tokyo Station. I would definitely stay here again for the location alone. Overall, I was satisfied, the hotel is definitely worth the price if you book in advance.

I recently stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Gochome and had a wonderful experience. • Location: The hotel is in the heart of Ginza, making it extremely convenient for shopping, dining, and access to the metro. Everything is within walking distance, which made exploring Tokyo very easy. • Service: Staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they assisted with luggage delivery efficiently. • Comfort: The bed was comfortable, and despite being in a busy area, the room was quiet. Sleep quality was excellent. • Value: Considering the location, cleanliness, and service, I found the hotel to be very good value for money. Overall, I highly recommend Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Gochome for anyone visiting Tokyo. It combines convenience, comfort, and a touch of Japanese hospitality that makes the stay memorable

Fully automated check in and out. Luckily nothing went wrong. The hotel as a whole was lovely and clean. Restaurant / bar in the building which is really handy for overnight stays when taking the train. The walk to and from the train station is really easy, even with big luggage. The room was generously sized, especially compared to other hotels we stayed in. Enough room to move luggage around and pack one or two bags at a time, no worries. Bed was comfy enough. Would have liked 4 pillows, not 2 but that's personal preference.

Great location! There's a subway station, airport shuttle, and convenience store nearby. The environment is very clean and the surrounding area is quiet, perfect for a good rest. The front desk service is also good, with Chinese-speaking staff available to help.

Hotel Trend – Good value and comfortable stay I stayed at Hotel Trend and overall had a pleasant experience. The room size was great for a solo traveler — comfortable, clean, and well laid out. The location offers good value for the price, and everything felt tidy and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated the free amenities. There were plenty of toiletries and bath products available, plus thoughtful extras like hair clips, hair bands, and even pajamas in the lobby. Those small touches made the stay more convenient. The only downside was the bathroom. It was very small — my knees touched the wall while sitting on the toilet, and the sink partially covered the shower area. I wish a bit more of the room space had been allocated to the bathroom. That said, aside from the tight bathroom, everything else was good. Clean, friendly, and solid value for the location. I’d still recommend it for solo travelers.

It seems I experienced discrimination... or was treated differently? I really hope not. When I checked in, the front desk told me I needed to inform them if I wanted room cleaning. During my stay, one morning I told a front desk staff member, who seemed Japanese, that I needed cleaning. He noted it down and asked if I wanted the bedsheets changed. My English isn't great, so I used a translator to convey 'change bedsheets,' and I said yes. However, when I returned that evening, my room hadn't been cleaned, and the bedsheets weren't changed. There was no sign of anyone having entered. Then, on my check-out day, I mentioned this to a Chinese front desk staff, who happened to be on duty. I told her I had requested cleaning, but no one came. She checked the records and surprisingly found a line drawn through my request, indicating it had been cleaned! But it clearly hadn't been. She said it might have been a staff error. But even now, thinking back, I really find it hard to believe it was just a staff error... (The front desk staff from HK was very good though). Other than that, I think the hotel environment and overall cleanliness are quite good. It's just this cleaning incident that I found very strange. If you ask me if I recommend it, I do recommend this hotel. No major issues. I booked for three nights, costing 9 RMB, which I thought was very affordable. The surroundings are quiet, and you can see the Skytree. Getting to Tokyo Tower and the city center by subway is also decent, just a few stops away.

My check-in experience was quite bad. Even though there were staff at the front desk and other guests were queuing, I was specifically told to use the self-service machine, which was very difficult to operate. The staff member guiding me on how to use the machine also had a very unhelpful attitude, giving unclear instructions. In the end, I wasted 15 minutes and still had to go to the front desk to sort it out. The location is convenient, right opposite Shinagawa Station, perfect for those with large luggage as you can find the hotel as soon as you exit the station. It's also a transport hub, making it easy to get to many tourist attractions. The room was a bit small, but it was clean, and they cleaned it every day. The best part is the hotel restaurant downstairs. With your check-in info/room card, you get a discount on a set menu, which was ¥4500 yen instead of the original ¥5500 yen. There's a 7-11 convenience store downstairs, some duty-free shops, and I think even a CPD store. It's good for picking up some last-minute souvenirs, but the airport probably has better options.

The hotel is very close to the subway station. They don't provide bottled water, as the bathroom water is stated to be drinkable. There's a Lawson convenience store right downstairs, which is super convenient. If you're short on energy, you can take one subway stop to Ginza; otherwise, it's a manageable walk. The room itself was nothing special, but perfectly adequate, and good for light travelers, as our triple room didn't have space to fully open our luggage – the aisle was very narrow. However, that's a common issue in Tokyo, so it's acceptable. It was generally quiet at night.
