I went with my daughter, it was her very first time staying in Manchester, We enjoyed stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was good and something for everyone. The only thing I would say is that we both didn't get any sleep, not because of any noise from outside, it was actually from the toilet. Each time someone was using the bathroom from a near by room, our toilet would also make noise, that was a pain, but there was no point complaining about that as it qas really late when we came back to the hotel to sleep. And we only stayed one night. But I really would have liked to feel abit more fresh in the morning. I'm not sure if this is an issue with other rooms, but it caused us both not to sleep well. But apart from that, I cant complain. Shower was good and with good pressure. It was very clean. Location was excellent. I would like to try it again, but I would like to ask for a room without the noisy toilet :). Also if you look at the picture. There is cheap all day parking for £6.

The hotel is in a good location near the centre with good transpprt links to Piccadilly, the reception and breakfast areas are nice and spacious and therr's room to chill as well, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The room is comfy and clean, the shower is spacious and the bed is soft and there's a nice tv as well. Internet is very fast. The breakfsst is also tasty and plentiful and it's only £ 8. It was a pleasant stay for a budget hotel, I would recommend it.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location near the centre with good transpprt links to Piccadilly, the reception and breakfast areas are nice and spacious and therr's room to chill as well, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The room is comfy and clean, the shower is spacious and the bed is soft and there's a nice tv as well. Internet is very fast. The breakfsst is also tasty and plentiful and it's only £ 8. It was a pleasant stay for a budget hotel, I would recommend it.

I really enjoyed my stay during my first visit to Greater Manchester to see my favourite live band. The hotel is in a perfect location, right next to a Wetherspoon pub and close to Piccadilly Station. My room was spacious, with a big, comfortable bed, a spotless bathroom, and a lovely city view. It also had great extras like a hairdryer, ironing facilities, tea and coffee with a kettle, and a smart TV. I stayed for two nights and would happily return.

However, that vintage character often slips into dated and tired. Rooms vary widely: some are spacious, others cramped; décor can feel worn, with scuffed furnishings and thin walls. Cleanliness is generally acceptable but inconsistent. Bathrooms work, though water pressure and temperature can fluctuate. Service is hit-or-miss—some staff are friendly and efficient, others seem overwhelmed during busy periods. Noise from corridors and nearby bars can be an issue, so light sleepers should request interior rooms or bring earplugs. For the price, it’s a functional base in the city center with nostalgic charm, provided your expectations are modest and you value location over modern comforts. Potential, but in need of refresh.
