Key reason to stay here: location, location, location! It's about 5-min walk from the Mariahilfer Str. shopping street and 10-min walk from the Museumquartier. Had booked the room because of the vinyl turntable in each room but was disappointed with the limited selection of vinyls. Having said that, no regrets and would stay here again as the room is spacious, comfortable and quiet. If you're lazy to go out, the bar/restaurant downstairs is open till ~10pm. Housekeeping is only available upon request - which works for me but you may want to note this.

This is a lovely hotel. There’s no doubt about it however there are a couple of things that I think they need to pay attention to. We were travelling across Europe and I telephoned and emailed the hotel to ask about parking. We were told to park in the local car park at €9 per day equal in €18 for our two day stay. However, as I was at the reception, I heard the receptionist advising the guests after me that to park on the road at the weekend is free ! I did mention this to the receptionist and said I’m a little bit disappointed that I not only had called but you had emailed me to advise me to park in the parking place and it’s a point of principle really to be given the correct information, especially when an inquiry is made . The hotel is modern and clean. It also has its own bar downstairs and provides tea and coffee and a complementary bottle of water. However, on the second day there was no tea or coffee provided. When I asked the reception they did give me some tea and coffee but when I got back up to the room I realised I also didn’t have any sugar or spoons or milk! I feel that in a four-star hotel, the Fraleys they could do is to replenish the stocks if necessary . There were also no body lotion or tissues in our room. All these little details make a big difference to the comfort of a guest. Yes, we can go down to reception and request these items but the whole point is that really you just want to relax in your room when you are there . The hotel is in a very close distance to Vienna city and was just a 10 minute underground ride (U3).

Hotel location is very close to the subway station just 3-4 mins walk. The staff is really nice and helpful. There is a 24 hours gym room there but no self laundry facilities. (FYR, 15 mins walk you can find a self laundry shop nearby) If you book a standard room, pls note it is separated from the main building.

We came to Vienna for a few days and stayed at The Grand Ferdinand. It's a majestic and beautifully designed hotel. The breakfasts are superb, and the service is excellent; the staff helps with everything and everyone is smiling. There's a pool on the 8th floor with a wonderful view of the city. The hotel is located in the center of Vienna, which is very convenient. We were very happy with our choice. We thank the hotel for the quality service, but the sink next to the bed isn't very practical.

Location: Right next to Vienna's main train station, just a 2-minute walk away. There's a Spar supermarket in the station open until 11 PM. Tram, bus, and subway stops are nearby, as well as a bus station for trips to cities like Budapest and Bratislava, making travel very convenient. The closest local attraction is the Belvedere Palace, a 15-minute walk. Other attractions are a bit further, though still walkable. Facilities: The room was spacious, but there's a big drawback – no door for the bathroom?! Even with the air conditioning on the hottest and strongest setting, it was still a bit chilly. It was fine for me alone, but it would be pretty awkward for two or more people. This design is very impractical. There's also no kettle, only a coffee machine. You can ask the front desk for an empty bottle to get unlimited mineral water from the dispenser at the main entrance on the ground floor. The TV isn't smart; you can't cast to it, and it's not an internet TV. The room itself was quite clean. Service: Luggage storage is available, and the front desk staff were nice and friendly. Overall: If you're not solely visiting local Vienna attractions, and the price is around 500-600 yuan, you might consider it. Otherwise, I'd recommend staying closer to the city center attractions.

The Vienna hotel is really too expensive. I moved here after staying at the Vienna Medical School Hotel for one night. 50% more expensive than the Vienna Medical School. The lobby is being renovated, there is no chair to sit on, and there is no luggage rack in the room. But the room was quite quiet, the quilt towels were new, and the room was not big and the bathroom was big. The gentleman at the front desk is also very friendly.

The hotel was pretty good, honestly. For this price, it was a great deal. The facilities were new, and even though the room was a bit small, it was perfectly fine for sleeping. The air conditioning was very straightforward and easy to adjust. You can take tram line 1 directly to the city center.
